Report of Python Sauna Sao Paulo

SO, went to Python tonight, for the first time.

In a few words...if you liked the old Fragata, this place is for you....end of  story, lol

The place is huge and nice, all the staff was friendly and amazing. The type of guys that Fragata had with a mix of Meio Mundo and Bangu.

The only downside I experienced, was it was chilly outside 50F and it was just as chilly inside because there is a lot of open space and opened windows. They have A/C's for when it gets hot, but nothing for the cold, except hot bodies.

They had 2 games of Bingo tonight, first at 9pm and second at 1030pm, there was like an intermission in  between and then everyone that was left went back. 

The place was still pretty full when I left at midnight.

I really liked the receptionist that spoke English and the attentive bar staff.

I sat at a table with locals, I was the only gringo in the place but I knew many people from Lagoa and Fragata from sight or personally and they all said the same thing....they felt more welcomed here than Lagoa. Had a BLAST during Bingo..I won a soda/beer but no real prize (250 brl)..... there are so many places here, the main bar when you come in, a video room with sofas, a side area off the main bar, A pool (billiard)  area in the back , some small areas downstairs and the Salon where Bingo is , also downstairs.

My friend said the place was too big, like Lyon's in Rio was... but I disagreed, I think this place will be a success.... even Carlotta the guy that announced Bingo at Lagoa was there and many Lagoa customers. I didn't see any of the rooms, but I think someone posted pics previously of some along with the Presidential suite. 

My friend that I went with, left early, he's more of an introvert and likes to go, do business and leave...not much into socializing. 

I'll go back Sunday, but tomorrow for lunch am planning to meet a waiter from there that says he's NOT a GP, but wants to hook up....I'll wait for the sob story after we eat 🤷‍♂️

I REALLY enjoyed the night here and were about 5 guys I would've went with but had previous plans with a guy I've known from before that doesn't like Python because it's the type of place where guys go and are happy with 1 programa...Lagoa guys are looking for multiple programas a night, I can't blame them, however  I know enough to be the last/only  one of the night. The guy I went with is so good, I'll go with him every night that he's available if he wants.


Let's see how lunch goes tomorrow and I'm planning a 3-way with the Lagoa guy tomorrow night and a return Sunday to Python since the Lagoa guy is busy, so will get a real  taste of the Python....so to speak.

Forgot to add this info from the receptionist  as far as when is good to go.

Mondays are black out parties- barely any lights on inside, that's all he said, guess more can go on with the guys in the public spaces?

Tues- Closed

Wed- Busy because of Bingo

Friday is good

Sunday can be slow unless they have Bingo

Anytime they have a special party will be busy and he expects it to be busy during next pride weekend

An excellent report. Is it on one level or multiple levels? I haven’t been to Lagoa in its present location but I have heard a number of complaints about the multiple levels and stairs. Also is it in a safe area?

2 levels but more expansive than Lagoa.

Safe, can't really say...took Uber to/from.... but probably not, the doorman had me wait inside until the Uber arrived, lol

Earlier this year I went to Python a few times.   It is a nice place but definitely not a rebirth of the old Fragata; boy do I miss that place.  The days I went to Python there were far fewer program guys there than at Lagoa.  Twice I left Python, which was almost empty, and went to Lagoa which was packed with both clients and program guys.  

You wrote that later you will rendez-vous with  "a waiter from there that says he's NOT a GP, but wants to hook up....I'll wait for the sob story after we eat 🤷‍♂️".  You are absolutely correct about the sob story.  A waiter/barman there also wanted to hook up with me as well.  He said he needed money to pay his rent and mentioned several times he is NOT a program guy.  I mentioned I do not give money away freely for NOTHING.  A few days later he said he was robbed leaving the bar and had no money to come to work, adding that he is not a program guy.  Again I informed him that I do not give away money freely.  The third time, not a charm for him, he actually tried to make me feel guilty for not giving him money.  He said I must not have a conscience because as a rich foreigner I should feel guilty for not helping poor Brazillians.  After that exchange I deleted and blocked his number.  Good luck.  

It is nice that Sao Paulo has another sauna with program guys.  A city that large should have several such saunas.  A decade ago there were as many as seven such saunas spread throughout the city with Lagoa being the grandest of them all.  Sadly, they closed one by one.  By the way, have you seen the new large very elegant condo built on the site of the old Fragata?  WOW!

How late did you stay?

I went again last night, left after 1st Bingo to have dinner with friends at SPOT, one of my favorite restaurants here.

Was planning to meet the waiter today, my schedule and his free time hadn't lined up and I think I dodged a bullet. I asked him point blank what he does and what I expected....he asked for 400 than 350 without sending any picks. He said he's not a GP or go with clients.... I told him it's better I get a regular of mine for 200 to see me off before I head to the airport tonight..... this waiter is 21 and needs to sharpen his negotiating skills, lol

Lagoa can seem packed just by the main room being so small and loud, Sat night was 90 reis entry.....Python 60.
