By your version it looks like: Russians were sitting in Moscow and after 14 years one of bosses said: "Oh, we forgot to punish Skripal! Let send agents to poison him!"

All crimes have reason, motive. What new motive Russia got after 14 years, 8 of which Skripal already spend in UK, after he already told everything what he knew to British I.S.?

I can imagine one only motive - all these 8 years Skripal was double agent and worked not only on MI6/MI5, but for GRU/FSB also. And in 2018 he told what he wants to quit and GRU made decision to punish him. Alternate path - MI5/MI6 found what Skripal was double agent and attempted to kill him at time when agents from GRU arrived to meet Skripal and get information from him.

Then it is greatest fuckup of British I.S. and for to cover it UK govt made so many nose.

Simple. A warning message for FSB and GRU staff or to any other relevant Russian officials - You can run away from us, even to UK, but we will find you and kill you. Maybe not immediately, but at some point.

Why do you continue to lie when your lies are proved to be just that - lies? You stated Skripal was never pardoned. Will you now admit that is an outright lie? WIll you admit that Medvedev pardoned him, or in your fantastic scenarios did the Russian media make a mistake when they reported that?

And that is one of the most hideously weak parts of your increasingly ridiculous arguments. The GRU agents admitted on Russian television their friends recommended Salisbury for tourism. Yet they sat for 8 hours on planes to and from the UK to spend less than 3 hours there. Since they were on foot it is highly likely they did not even visit the Cathedral, which is the only tourist attraction in the city. We know the Russian executioners were never there for sightseeing. They were there to murder Skripal and then get out of the UK as fast as possible, which is precisely what they did - get out, that is, but they failed in their murderous mission! End of @Moses utterly ridiculous fantasy!

As anyone familiar with the process of independent justice would know, not all the evidence to be used in a trial for the GRU agents would be released to the general public prior to the trial. 

 However the evidence being held did pass the UK Crown Prosecution Service’s threshold for issuing arrest warrants and also the threshold for the issuing of European Arrest Warrants. 

 Everything else will come out in the trial, so when are the GRU agents coming back to face justice? Don’t they want to be proved innocent, if that’s what they think they are?

 Although as Russia never extradites it’s citizens(let alone it’s assassins) to face justice in another country perhaps that explains why they ran home so quickly and didn’t have more time for sightseeing.

 As to why Russia might have waited until 2018 to attempt an assassination here is another theory. Perhaps the thicko thugs of the GRU took that long to find out where the Skripals were living? And then they bungled the operation and killed a bystander.

 Anyway keep diverting, denying, deflecting, denying, but I doubt that you are convincing anyone.

I don't understand why people are still arguing with Moses. When he isn't lying, he puts up the most asinine arguments that I'm sure he himself doesn't believe. He obviously isn't convincing anyone.

I understand your point but there is way too much misinformation out there to let such nonsense stand unchallenged on a forum that I frequent.

It is really very sad that someone who has contributed an occasional valuable post - especially on technical matters - has become this Board's Putin propagandist. Absolutely everything he has said about the Skripal case (and I apologise for having dragged that one out) is pure lies.

And sadly far too much of it is coming from @Moses. Example - in large letters he claimed that Russia had never pardoned Sergei Skripal. I quoted sources, including Russian media sources, that President Medvedev had done precisely that. Yet has @Moses apologised for spreading false information? No! He lives in his own little Putin fantasy land. Well, I have made the case as best I can and will now let @Moses spew whatever additional lies he wants to embroider his tissue of lies.
