This falls right around the time I'll be in Bangkok. I'd love to check it out. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any details yet, such as the light show times, which locations will be illuminated, the fireworks, or the best viewing spots. If anyone knows more, please post!

I plan to be there, 11th November to 15th, and 20th to 23rd. Staying at Le Meredien with angled view of river, so any info gratefully received!

Why don't you book a room at another hotel from Marriot group along the river? You will have a better view of the fireworks!

True, but actually, I always stay at the Meridien, Surawong, (which is a Marriott), better view for boys!

If you like this:

I pushed my arrival to Thailand with a week because I don't want to miss the firework show in Pattaya. it's on November 28 –  November 29.

https://www.tourismthailand.org/Events-and-Festivals/pattaya-international-fireworks-festival-2025

The most important tip to enjoy the show as intended is to find a sections where you can here the music. The show is choreographed around music, i didn't know this at first and the first show I had no sound. The second show I was in section with sound and the experience was so much better.

This will probably mean that establishments like hotels etc might give you a good view, but not the best experience.

Not to hijack the thread!

Looks like I am going to miss all of the fun.  I will still be in Thailand when the festival begins, but be in Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai area at that time.

Thanks. This is the information I was looking for! Do you thinks there is a place where you will be able to see bit part of the lightshow, drones and fireworks from 1 place. Or do you really need to be on a boat travel wel place to place.

Have fun gossiping about boys in executive lounge!

You can also meet for breakfast the next morning with your overnight companions!

Yes to lounge, but I don't do overnights. I do invite select people to join me for breakfast!

Chiang Rai? You can always watch the town clock changing colour, the most exciting night-time spectacle in town! 🥱

Kind of odd that the website says Fri/Sat but the dates given are Sat/Sun (except for Fri Dec 5th, which is noted as a special round) 🙄
