Alternatives to Zing Resort and Spa

Recommended Posts

I hope to visit Jomtien again soon for a few days. Zing resort seems fully booked so any suggestion for alternatives with pros and cons: Agate and The Venue or others?

Thanks, any help!

Agate more expensive, Venue more noisy.

No shortage of hotels in the area and all will be visitors friendly. Consider East Suites within complex

Wow 😯

The Zing is fully booked ?

I stayed there in September and could choose any room

But it's  coming up to high season🥳🎉🎉

Although a 5 minutes bus ride from the complex ....have you considered Sansuk Gay Sauna Hotel ??

Breakfast is included in the room rate and sauna entry usually 250 baht

Have you tried searching other booking platforms? What is sold out on one platform may not be sold out on another. Agate is also very nice, and East Suites (as @vinapu mentioned) is another viable option, although I've never stayed there before but seems quite nice.

East Suites is great with big rooms and I have often stayed there but with only 8 (I think) rooms it sells out fast in high season.

Vinapu’s brief advice is spot on. I would be surprised if the Agate is fully booked. It’s a lot larger than its outside appearance would suggest and during my stay there in August I sometimes got the impression that it was 90% empty. Perhaps try a direct reservation by email or telephone if rooms are not available on the platforms.

it's only few clicks to find out but you are right , I never stay in East Suites as whenever I wanted to book they were full.

When I said fully booked i meant that mainly it seems 90% plus booked.

Can get a room there for a night or 2 but when I checked for 3 nights plus on the dates I wanted either the reply was fully booked or a different room for each night.

Anyway  Sansuk looks interesting so I appreciate your helpful reply.

Yes I like sansuk

I got fucked there last month by a horny young indian dude🇮🇳 (free) who kept calling me a daddy slut !

I’ve stayed at the Sansuck several times but not since Covid. An attraction was that staying there included admittance to the gay sauna of which, like Olddaddy, I took full advantage. However there are no recent descriptions of this facility on this site. The rooms were fine but  the place is rather far (well over a mile)  from “the action” in the Complex with an uphill walk to the main road  where using the baht buses was sometimes difficult (often full)

i had Zombie’s problem last January with the Complex hotels not having availability. I easily found a room in the Jomtien Palm Beach Resort which is the big hotel nearby on the beach. I asked about joiners mentioning that for me they would be boys and the reception replied “no problem”. After a good week there I did eventually find availability at the Agate on Expedia for the rest of my stay. Maybe the Palm Beach is worth considering.

Book quickly. We arrived yesterday and the Complex was as busy as I've seen it since last High Season.  I know that it was Jomtien's Loy Khatong  but according to hotel staff, the season has started-off very well.

Excellent news; it was very subdued when we were here last in July.
