"Apperatips" as shown on the Midnight Bar drink menu is a misspelling of the word "Aperitifs". The liqueurs listed are usually considered as aperitifs, and sometimes as digestifs by some. Er, it was a joke... I think we all know what an aperitif is! daydreamer 1 Quote

I stopped there for a drink before going to Hotmale as I was too early. I was the only customer at that time. Noticed several other bars, but wasn't sure if they were primarily gay bars, mixed clientele, or what the scene actually was. One had a pool table as I recall, but I don't remember seeing the sofa that has been mentioned. There was also some older Thai gentleman walking up and down the Soi in front of the bars rather aggressively trying to persuade people to go to one particular bar. I avoided that one because of him. macaroni21 Posted 10 minutes ago Posted 10 minutes ago The bar under Hotmale is Midnight bar; it is not under Fresh Boys. All the other open-front bars in the area are either for men interested in boobs or men interested in getting sloshed. The "older Thai gentleman" you refer to is probably a barker for Hotmale, Fresh Boys or Dream Boy. Likely, there are more than one taking his job seriously. Quote
