The going rate in 1985 was 300b short time, 500 overnight. I lived with a few boys from a Silo lm bar as a 19 yo backpacker. Adjusted for inflation that would be 1500 and 2500 respectively. 
 

That said, the boys in 1985 were younger, fitter and far more charming than most you'll meet in Bkk today.
