In the process of booking hotels/flights..... thinking about spending more time in Indonesia and India and skipping Philippines this time as well.... tough decisions, lol

I’ve been trekking in Nepal - wonderful experience in the high mountains. Companionship in lonely tea houses eating mainly fried potatoes and eggs. Did it twice but need to get much fitter to do it again even with porters carrying our gear. Kathmandu like a mini Bkk but no gay bars I’m afraid. I forgot the boys whilst on the trails. Everything cheap but BASIC.

Returning to the subject of this thread -The Philippines of which my knowledge is very sketchy. Which location would be best from the point of view of the gay scene and most importantly availability of boys ? I rather like the idea of a beach resort with quality accommodation. I have heard mention of Davao and Cebu meeting my specification.

Beach resort would be Boracay 🌴🏝️Palawan , Siargao 

Boracay being the number one for tourists

I'm heading to Manila for another week of fun and frivolity from next Friday (20th) - staying in another big hotel in Makati next to Glorietta Mall (Holiday Inn last time).  Looking forward to getting in / to touch with the locals again!  I have a few models in mind from two "massage" places that I will call on if Grindr, Scruff, Sniffies, and TheBlowers fails me... but they were more than I could handle last time haha.  They are Redapple (see on Mimaluwang's Twitter) and Pinkrabbit on Twitter and Telegram... I had two hot guys from Redapple last time I was in Manila (Karl and Miko)... I may have to try some from Pinkrabbit this time - Asher, Rio and Evan look so hot!

I'm planning a trip there for early May, my first time in the Philippines and planning to stay in Makati.

I'm wondering if there are gogo bars of similar concept to maybe Space Hair Salon in Phnom Penh or the gogo bars in Thailand. From what I can find online, there's one bar in Quezon City called The One 690, but not much info on how things go with the guys etc.

If anyone has experience to appreciate, would appreciate it 🙏.

I've been to Cebu, Angeles City, which are busy but I really enjoyed swimming with Whale Sharks in Oslob near Cebu. Magical experience 👍

 

As for beaches, I visited Bohol Island, just near Cebu and had a week or more in Panglao. Absolutely lovely 👍😎

 

On another visit I went to Palawan, namely El Nido, Palawan and somewhere else. Just once again, magical. 

 

The Philippines beaches far outweigh other Asian countries and can be superior to the Maldives for a fraction of the price. 

 

Food not a 's good as Thailand though and customer service not always top drawer. 

 

Overall I want to go again as English is spoken fluently and easier to communicate when in the bedroom 🤪

My job is looking at sending me to the Philippines this August. Our company has an office in Angeles City but I'll have five days in the capital.

I got really excited...I haven't been to the country. What's the prevailing rate there for locals?

From its name and location in Quezon City, this sounds like the reincarnation of the huge 690 Quezon Strip bar of the 1980s. Then it was the most raunchy gay venue in the city and so well known all you had to say to a taxi drivr was 690 and he knew exacty where to take you.

But I am sure it has changed although lots of good looking guys on their website.  I suspect nudity and soap bubble shows on the cat walks may be out, but worth checking it out.
