I got a word not long ago from somebody in the know that there are chances "has"  changed to 'had'.

I remember that discussion. it was one case that we did not know the exact details of e.g. was this a youngish looking Asian customer bringing a non-MB looking MB to room. Or an older European looking gentleman bringing an obvious young MB to room. Or was this based on broader observations. this forum is notorious for jumping to conclusions based on a single observation. For example, people have gotten lucky at Prestige massage too, but that doesn’t turn it into an H place.

Ok so still better be careful with Montien when one is considering bringing guests with him.

Academic for me as hotel is clearly well above of what I'm prepared to pay

There used to be a small old fashioned type Hotel in Bangkok🏨

I have no idea if it's still around

maybe others can think of the name ,it's was an old style hotel

But they had policies that guests could not bring back their "guests" ,and I believe policies relating to other behaviours eg making sure you are well dressed whilst in the hotel

Perhaps you are thinking of the Oriental! In the old days they did not allow shorts.

I think you mean Atlanta hotel in Sukhumvit area. I believe they are still around but no idea whether they stick to their 14th century policies

Still does.

I think @vinapu has it. The Atlanta was, and still is, notorious for its explicit policies, which go well beyond a mere dress code 😈:

Very strange it’s not showing up on my app. Any idea when it was added? Only some new places in Huai Kwang. Good that they’re expanding stay options in Bangkok though.

I meant under Bonvoy loyalty program 🙃 there was a time you couldn’t book a Bonvoy Bangkok hotel under 4-5000 baht. Some of the recently added properties now have opened up a possibilities for a cheaper stay while still clocking loyalty points or “mattress runs”

The Oriental can be overly snooty. I thought you looked very smart. Perhaps the whip scared them?
