This article is talking about Da Nang leaving, not entering the country, One commenter said happened to him in Hanoi also.... anyone here run into this?

Colombia can be horrible entering at times, I've never had a problem leaving, but have heard it can bad as well....

I remember arriving in Saigon to a nightmare line. It ended up going faster than I expected it to, but it still took quite a while. I left via Hanoi and it was only a minor pain in the neck. We left early and got to the airport early. This was one or two years ago.

I was leaving Da Nang at end of Jan  but that was domestic terminal and I had only carry-on and checked on-line but noticed that check -in lines were horrendous indeed.

I arrived 5am to Saigon around tet holidays and purchased for 20 eur priority service for immigration (Klook) was unnecessary as no lines.
Left few days later via international terminal and again it took no time.

Did anyone ever experienced being asked for money by staff at immigration or departure? I saw news online about someone having their boarding pass torn up for refusing the demand.
