RavenFlock Posted Sunday at 06:03 PM Posted Sunday at 06:03 PM Hi all, I would be going Japan in about 1 week+ time for the sakura season. Towards the end of my trip, I would have a few days to myself in Tokyo and I would like to engage some of the boys. I would like to thank the forum when I went to Bangkok back in Feb for information before engaging the boys. I hope to receive good information here too. For context, I enjoy kissing, cuddling, boyfriend like experience as well as boys who are more toned or muscular. As a start, I had begun to email Gym-k and Re:Born for enquiries on boys already. However, there are some queries I hope you all can help me with. 1. I would like to ask if it would be better to stay in a hotel or an airbnb if I would like the boy to come over? Reason being that it would be more convenient and the price doesn’t seem to differ too much and in fact might even be cheaper than using their room (correct me if I am wrong). I think hotel rooms might be a bit smaller than airbnb given the general sizing of Tokyo hotel rooms (usually smaller than 20 sqm) as I don’t want to spend a fortune on a huge room. I am on the lookout for cheap hotels with sizable rooms near the train stations currently. Do let me know if it is better to use the agency's room instead as well. I am thinking of getting perhaps 3 boys across different nights, but might be more, depending on how it goes.2. I can’t speak Japanese so I guess I have to rely on Google translate when I meet the boy. Do we get down to business or how is it like? Do I get to communicate my preferences? 3. What would be the recommended duration? For example, looking at the website for Re:Born, it is 18000 yen for 130 mins, which seems a bit similar to Bangkok and might even be cheaper considering yen is weak. I know that the Japanese are very particular about time so am I right to say they will fulfill the full duration even after I cum 1st? I think it would be nice to cuddle together for the rest of the remaining time haha. 4. Any other info or recommendations I should be aware of as I would like to get the bookings sorted out these few days? This is so that I can focus on enjoying my trip while I’m there and not worry about this. Thank you all in advance~ JanezSlo and Mavica 2 Quote
RavenFlock Posted Monday at 08:01 AM Author Posted Monday at 08:01 AM https://www.dojo-group.com/shinjuku/ I had also emailed the above for booking enquiries but was informed that availabilities are only up to 9 days in advance. If I wanted to check for availability further later (which is when I am in Tokyo), I would need to go for an "Overnight Stay Plan". Would it be wise to pay higher and go for overnight for a first meeting? Quote
PeterRS Posted Monday at 09:49 AM Posted Monday at 09:49 AM Although it is years since i lived in Tokyo, I have returned many times since then. So I'll try and answer your questions. I'm sure others will add some things. 1. Guests in hotel rooms. I have stayed in several dozen hotels in Tokyo and can tell you that only the really very expensive might query a guest - but unlikely. I have never once had any issue taking a young man to my room, and from what I have read from other posts here, other members have found the same. 2. Room size. This might steer you towards an airbnb. You are correct that Japan hotel prices are partly based on room size. So a decent sized room is going to be reasonably expensive. I have been in cheaper rooms where when kneeling on the bed I stretch out my arms and can touch the two walls! But whereas most of the boys from the agencies will know the hotels, they might need help from you via the mama-san in finding your exact location in an airbnb. If you are not considering overnight, I have looked at the Re:Born site and the boys look much more of the hunk type rather than the skinny cute guys in many other agencies. The in-premises rooms also look really nice. They are only ¥1,000 extra for non-Japanese nationals. One question, though. That site does not have what I consider a usual list of outcall availability and timings. Indeed there seems to be very little information about out-calls apart from a list of what it will cost you from the premises. Overnights seem only to be on the premises when another additional charge becomes payable - ¥2,000. So please double check that before making a booking. A chat with the mamasan is obviously needed in advance. 3. Most of the agencies have websites which use icons to tell you exactly what your preferred companion will and will not do. So check them carefully. If you are looking for a bottom, do not expect a top to fulfil your desires! Likewise some boys do not like to drink alcohol. So please use mouthwash and brush your teeth before he arrives. I always found the boys liked a little conversation before showering and some will speak at least some English. When you make the booking on line, you can ask the mamasan which boys do have some English. 4. In almost al cases, if you book for a start time of 8:00 pm, that is precisely the time he will knock on your door or call up for you if the lift requires a keycard. 5. I am a little surprised that 130 minutes is the minimum time. I have never seen that before. Unsually the timings are now around ¥15,000 for one hour with other options for 90 minutes or 120 minutes. I suggest it depends very much on you and your precise requirements of the boy you choose. Generally speaking, if you have paid for one hour, you will get precisely that. So for 130 minutes, don't expect the boy to up and leave after a shorter time. On the other hand, bear in mind that if you are finished well ahead of 130 minutes and the two of you cannot converse, the extra unused minutes may drag on. Personally I would not go beyond 90 minutes, especially for a first time. Good luck and have a great time. Mavica 1 Quote

Thank you, I ended up booking a hotel for a litte under 100 USD a night at Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Kinishicho. It is not too big though, at 17 sqm. Regarding point 2, I personally prefer the type of boys at Re:Born haha. Yes, I noticed there is not much information on the overnight out calls, which I am trying to check with the agency via email now because I don't see a point to go their premises for overnight if I have my own hotel room? Regarding point 5, at Re:Born site, I can see there are 70 mins (12000 yen) and 100 mins (15000 yen)options but i quoted 130 minutes as an example. I enjoy cuddling together after finishing hence I was thinking of maybe a slightly longer duration might be good. My query on overnight came about because the schedule for late April is not released yet for https://www.dojo-group.com/shinjuku/ and upon checking with the agency, they told me they can only check with the boy for the availability if I choose an Overnight Stay Plan (33000 yen). Therefore, I had posed a question of whether I should go for overnight even though it is our first meeting. Mavica and PeterRS 2 Quote
Popular Post joizy Posted Monday at 08:19 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 08:19 PM I stayed in an Airbnb in Tokyo which I can recommend - it’s listed on Booking.com as “Hotel Shu” - it’s not a hotel. It is a building with long-term rentals. It’s not too far from Shinjuku ni-chome. No issue with guests (they don’t even mention it in their rules like some of the other Airbnbs I looked at). The room is small, not much bigger than a hotel. There is a small kitchenette and a washing machine. A great supermarket around the corner and convenient to everything - bus, subways (Shinjuku sanchome and gyoenmae stations) and not far from Shinjuku station I’m in a hotel in Nagoya and my room is bigger than the Airbnb. One thing, the bed was hard. It’s a futon on a platform. I like the bed in Nagoya better. I would not book an overnight without first meeting the guy. There are all sorts of things that you might find when you meet him that are not obvious from the website. One guy I met in Kyoto had really bad breath - not from food, but from years of not flossing and poor dental care. I would not want to spend an entire night with someone like that. I’d say meet the guy first, and then if you like him, arrange an overnight. I’ve been doing 1.5 hour, which seems to be the right amount of time to chat , snuggle and get down to business. I find a lot of the guys speak some English. Google translate is kind of fun to use though. Some agencies charge for their room and some are free. They all seem to charge for a business call. So in the end, using their room may be cheaper. But finding it can be problematic if you don’t know your way around, or if like me, you are not good at reading directions (I mistook right for left once and I went to a completely different location another time - and I lived in Japan and speak some Japanese!) - the problem I had with the Airbnb was the one I stayed in last year was hard to find. (Hotel Shu is easy, and the neighborhood is more of a grid layout than the former rice field I was in last year). I’d say don’t stress about it. Overall, Japan excels at service, and these agencies do a really good job of ensuring that their guys meet the same standard you would find outside. The staff have been very easy to work with in booking (I use email rather than their form) and these guys really do take their work seriously. Not all of them have been perfect, but they do make an effort. And when they are hot, Japanese guys are really hot. floridarob, RavenFlock, bkkmfj2648 and 2 others 5 Quote
RavenFlock Posted Tuesday at 06:43 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:43 AM Thank you all for your reply. I have decided to not go for overnight thanks to your information provided. However, I had arranged for 150mins with Gym-K but I noticed some of you recommended 90 mins. I am more of a slow burn type, kiss and cuddle slowly before going to business. Would emailing the agency to reduce the duration be advisable? I would also like to ask as some of the websites may indicate the boy as straight. I had not gotten straight boys before. Would that be an issue or differing experience as he would not be into me and thus the experience will be affected? Quote
PeterRS Posted Tuesday at 07:18 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:18 AM Having looked at all the guys and their descriptions, I reckon that are all bascially top but some will bottom. If you click on each photo, you get a description that incudes whether they are bottom or top. For example, one guys has this - Interaction, top, bottom Top ◎ / Bottom ◎ which i take to mean he is both. Some have an x against bottom and again I assume that means he will not. Another is described s a gay guy and he has - Back-up Top (△) / Bottom (◎) One guy with a triange has in his description "He's basically a versatile top, but he says he can also be a bottom for guys with average-sized penises." I frankly would be wary of assuming this and other guys with similar triangles will be very effective bottoms. Note that some will not take reservations from foreigners. Only my personal view but 150 minutes with one guy whom you have never met nd may not be blessed to converse with seems a very long time. Why go for that length on a very first date? I would definitely not go beyond 90 minutes first time around, but that is just me. Travelingguy 1 Quote
macaroni21 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I second @PeterRS's advice: 150 minutes seems too long. We often imagine the kind of person we want when we book, but the person can turn out differently, incompatible with what we're hoping for. 90 minutes should be enough for a first time. If you like that person, you can always book a second appointment. floridarob 1 Quote

RavenFlock Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Thank you for your comments, I had taken note and written in to Gym-k to reduce the booking time to 120 minutes as I still like to cuddle haha. On another note, I had contacted olive salon (https://olive-salon.net) but did not exactly have a nice experience. I added the admin on LINE to inquire about making a reservation. He added me to a LINE group with a LINE English translator bot. I queried regarding a few boys availability when I would be in Tokyo. I was informed that I should wait for the site schedule to be updated before booking (but most of their schedules are not shown for end April yet currently). I ended up going for another boy who was available during my dates in Tokyo. However, after filling in the reservation form on LINE and asking for the steps to find their store, the admin just told me “I don't know what it means, so I'll cancel it”. I tried to clarify further by resending the form and asking which part needs further clarification, but he ghosted me. I tried to call the store to hopefully sort it out over the phone but no one picked up. (Call went to the voicemail). The admin proceeded to leave the group chat and I’m left hanging. Would anyone here had made reservation with this store and would be able to advise how should I proceed to make the reservation please? Quote
PeterRS Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago My advice for Japan escort establishments is never try to make a booking more than about a few days ahead. Many of the boys work or study and simply do not know when they will definitely be free before then. I have never had a problem with the usual agencies (I had never actually heard of the three you mention until this thread) but then I am not into the hunk types that you obviously prefer. My suggestion? If olive-salon is screwing you round, go somewhere else! Never try to get a Japanese agency to fit in to what you want. You follow their rules. Mavica 1 Quote

I actually got the agency links from this forum actually, credits for the links here https://www.gayguides.com/topic/60892-boy-agencies-update/. I am a bit sad over olive-salon but as advised, I contacted another agency - red line instead from the links inside and the manager spoke English (thankfully) and he even whatsapp-called me to speak to me when I called their customer line to enquire. (savings on the international call fees). So I think, I will go with red-line instead. Luckily, there are several links of agencies posted by forum members if not I wouldn't know what to do =( Regarding following of their rules, I am very compliant actually. I had no issues with making reservation with Gym-K (reservation confirmed) as well as speaking to a few other agencies. I am not sure why was olive-salon a bit rude to me, I even informed it was my first time and hope he can be patient with me but the end result was just disappointing to me. Quote
macaroni21 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago @RavenFlock if you're only going to be in Tokyo end April, this is far too early to book. The shops simply don't know who will be working. The boys they advertise mostly have day jobs or school. Japan is not Thailand, where many shops' boys work full-time in the sex trade either exclusively with one shop or with several shops. Rarely so in Japan. You may find managers willing to help you out by contacting a particular boy on your behalf far in advance and making a reservation, but if they do that, they're going out of their way for you, and you should appreciate that. Yet even so, the boy may cancel at the last minute. I have personally experienced it -- more than once, even though I booked only a day or two in advance. On one occasion, it was explained to me that the day job boss wanted him to work overtime. A more recent case had a college student having to stay late for a rescheduled class. Interesting that you mentioned Redline. A boy from that shop arrived half an hour late because he had to feed the rabbits/rats in the university biology department. See it from the boys' perspective: in many cases, their day jobs or school is more important than their night jobs. Japan is a rich country. What they earn from their night job is not as crucial to them as might be the case of a boy in Thailand with no other job. Also, in terms of the pecking order, many shops will see a foreign customer as low priority compared to a local customer, especially one who is regular. You shouldn't be surprised if they refuse to go an extra mile for you. So, moderate your expectations. And, as others have advised, take it easy and adapt to the Japanese way of doing things. bkkmfj2648 1 Quote

If you want space id recommend an Airbnb. Just can't be loud because of neighbors. Hotels were just so small for me >_< unless you can find a nice one that's not super expensive. Also I hated having to go to the lobby to get them. I felt so awkward in the agency room in one place because the boy had to check the halls to protect other peoples privacy. Then another place had a whole ass apartment for us to use, So it just depends on who you book with. 2.The guys I had either spoke broken English and I spoke broken Japanese and we just used Google Translate to fill in the blanks. No one seemed upset. Once the boy gets there they will ask you to take a shower with them and usually they wash you. and then you guys dry off and then start the deed. 3.Ive tried the overnight and honestly I was disappointed. Granted I think it was the agency I used. Might try it again. We had lame sex and then we showed and went to bed. nothing else. Personally after that I only did anything under an hour and 30 mins. Nothing more. Most guys that I interacted with will ask if you want to do it again or something if you still have time left. 4.Just search the forums and find some sites with guys that you like. Then wait at least a day before booking them. Please have a few in mind in case something pops up and you can't get the guy you want. You can schedule accordingly. Have plans in the day and a guy later on or vise versa. Whatever you want. Just have fun with it. It's still very early so don't worry about reaching out to the agencies now. Just spend your time researching. Id read the customer reviews. That helped me a lot. bkkmfj2648 1 Quote
