It ranks for me alongside the American Rodeo horse bareback jumping, as inane a "sport" as I can imagine. But then I suppose Spanish and Americans find croquet and cricket both boring and baffling/
April 23Apr 23 French bull fighting is a little different. The crowd (and the band) cheer for the bull, and the bulls die of old age, not from being killed in the arena.

April 24Apr 24 Author I grew up in the USA playing croquet at family gatherings. Currently, bean bag or washer toss are all the rage ... amongst seniors.
