Better than posts that are way too long.......

That's one of your silliest inane remarks. You include in that comment one of the most respected posters on this Board @macaroni21 whose posts are virtually as long as many of mine. You also include @unicorn, @bkkmfj2648@ichigo,@pylonguy71 whose long reports you recently wrote that you looked forward to, @Jimmy who has made a great many marvellous reports about his adventures with Cam, and the host of all the many other posters who make trip reports.

OK! We've known for a long time that you do not like my posting and you've made that plain. Fine. Do you think that concerns me? Not in the slightest. Does anyone make you read my posts? Yes. Your brain! Because you have a sneaking suspicion that you might actually find something interesting and so you do not block me.

Other posters like @Keithambrose generally prefer for their own reasons to write short one or two posts. These clearly cover your attention span while longer ones don't. These readers might do well to take note.

In August I plan to spend time in Hanoi with my bf who has a Filipino passport 🇵🇭

Only a few days should be suffice

However the visa situation is very strict I hear 👨‍🏫

A Google search indicates private visa companies online

One must wonder in essence who the true visa companies are?

One must wonder 🤔 is life worth it to go to Hanoi ?

One must 🤔 wonder what one will do there ?

I will go from BKK to Hanoi , now if someone could research all this info for me please !.

Visa for Australian and one for Filipino passport and Bangkok to Hanoi airfares and times thanks !

Oh if you not happy .... Leave !!🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️💨💨

The visa situation seems extremely easy for almost all passports when it comes to Vietnam. If I can believe Wikipedia, no nationals of any country need a consular visa, so don't waste your time and money with a visa service. The most any national needs is an eVisa, which can easily be done online. Of course, I'm sure that passports from fake countries such as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria), the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) passport, and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic would not be accepted. However, Filipinos don't even need an eVisa. They can just show up with a passport valid for at least 6 month. If you need an eVisa, they will ask for your religion. None is a good answer. (As one traveler I met told me "I put 'none,' short for 'none of your business.'")

Only countries in the light blue-green need an eVisa. Others can just show up.
