Miserable looking staff

This trip since coming back from the Philippines 🇵🇭im meeting nothing but miserable staff in Pattaya 

The bar I went to last night  to the cafe I went to this morning ☕☕

All sour face miserable looking Thai people...

If you don't like your job....leave !!!!

Look I'm starting to miss the Philippines, at least they all had smiles on their faces whether genuine or not 😀

And the audacity of these Thai hospitality workers to look to see how much tip you gave them 🤣

Zilch ! You can get fucked , I gave a 200 baht tip the other day , didn't even say thankyou , so you can fuck off 

Unfortunately and call me am old Cxnt ...but it's this latest generation who don't like the jobs they're doing eg waitress etc , 

This is why even I prefer the African sex workers when it's comes to sex at least they know how to put an act on

Sorry but Philippines hospitality leaves the thai service workers   for dead ....

Even the farang expats walked with lemon 🍋 faces ...I had two sit next to me yesterday in a brilliant fantastic Australian owned cafe who actually spoke to me when I looked up from eating my delicious pie ..as soon as I looked up the expat said to me ..."it's a terrible world " 

I looked at him for a second before replying ..Get fucked ya cunt !

These people working in the hospitality industry don't want customers 

It takes them all their time to serve you 

I spoke to a successful cafe owner yesterday, a Australian cafe restaurant by the name of Tinnies at Jomtien, part of his success he told me was Always..always having a member of his family at the shop watching or helping.

He doesn't leave Thai staff to run the shop 

And he is a successful business ...

Have you met her yet? 

She is the BEST - one of the most friendliest people that I know. 

And she trains her staff to be super friendly - already when I eat there I feel like we are all family.

Totally agree with this. You need somebody firm, with authority and preferably a stake in the business to be on premise keeping an eye on things at all times, or at the very least during peak hours. Also, you need to know every aspect of the business inside and out and be able to fill in for any operational shortcoming. The F&B business can be very lucrative in SE Asia because of relatively lower overheads and labour costs but it is VERY hard work with no respite. I've seen several successful restaurants here and in Bangkok go belly up because the owners became complacent or were expanding beyond capacity, leaving the clueless staff to manage.
