Correct me if im wrong but I heard this is the only business in Boyztown that isnt Chinese owned. According to the report I saw it appears the owners of the business maybe awaiting a higher offer. The Copa has a hotel plus a go go bar downstairs. I have stayed several times in their hotel and whilst i wouldnt rate it highly it does its job at a reasonable price if you dont mind a darkish room and a lot of noise emitting from outside. On my last trip I think I counted 2 bar owners of yesteryear still left. Beer of Nice boys & Alain of Sky Bar,there’s probaly one or two more but many of them have gone . Like many of you I still an reminiscing about the Pattaya i use to know. Not sure whatever came of Thomas & Crabby my favourite bar owners as well as David of Come In Bar. Was it Colin of the Little Mango that was stabbed to death a few years ago by his BF ? I also remember Gary of Come in bar and Michael of Top Man,oh the memories!!

Two boys who used to work in Kawaii boys agogo have started a tiny hole-in-the-wall shop for sexy underwear. It is located near the entrance/exit of Boyztown at Second road. If you face Boyztown entrance at Second road you have a Familymart on your left side and a 7-Eleven on your right side. The shop is a little bit to the right side just where the 7-Eleven ends. Worth a visit.

I had been staying at the Baan Dok Mai Hotel just near Tukcom, for about every trip up until about 2016 when their Wifi continually let me down, it was about this time too it was under new ownership bought by a young Aussie guy Chris. Both Eden and Euro Bars were closed tonight apparently due to a flooding (water) from units above them. Both bars seemed to be doing a clean up and should be open shortly, I hope.

Winner Boys, already nicknamed Weiner Boys to open in former Sunny Boys location in Sunee Plaza. There are large signs outside with drink special prices. It's going to be a boy gogo boy bar. February 18th opening night.

I was surprised to talk to a farang last week in Jomtien who thought Sunee was closed,it is far from closed and has still has a diverse range of boys. This new boy bar opposite Xboys opened recently. It occupies the former sites of Xboys and Lucky 7. It's a gogo bar and show bar with drinks 250baht.

Apparently there was a big police raid in Jomtien complex Saturday evening. I was not there but heard about it from some boys. Police checked the bars for foreign workers and pee-tests for drugs. Anyone knows more details of problems for any bar or other things? I can't imagening any bar in the complex having cambodians working there though.

New boy beerbar in Jomtien, just outside Jomtien complex on the main road Thappraya road opposite of Tops daily. It was a ladybar before with the same name. A nice looking little bar. When I visited there were 5 twink boys on duty as hosts. Drink prices normal for a beerbar. 70-90 baht for a bottled beer. Gin & tonic 100 baht. They have a pooltable in the bar.

Hi there, I have some rituals to do at Big Buddha for 3 days (early August), from 10:00 to 13:00. The problem is no songthaew (or very few from my experience) running along Phra Tamak road so i have to walk along that soi from Thappraya road. (i want to stay in Thappraya because its "easy-songthaew catch" :D:D & close to Sansuk *wink wink*). I read from tripadvisor that Axis condo has a shortcut up to the hill but not sure if it's true and neither Axis's web nor their facebook works. Can anyone confirm if Axis condo has such shortcut? Or else, any chance for me to stay in Thappraya road and come to Big Buddha without walking too much as along Phra Tamak road?

Based on a whirlwind survey over the last three days I would say this is the case. It has now four good quality gay or gay friendly hotels in The Poseidon, Agate, Zing and The Venue. Opinions vary on this forum and you have to take price into account, but I would rate them better than the offerings from Boystown, certainly as far as sleep quality is concerned. Of course there are no gogo’s but this is outweighed by its bars having recruited a large number of younger boys from Cambodia and Laos. Just in time for high season, a brand new sleek beer bar called Prisma is now where Funny Boys used to be on the main drag of the Boyztown area. Just opposite Toy Boys and eye candy outside Toy Boys is a joy to behold. Prisma makes the other bars look old in comparison. Two of our party ordered margaritas but what was served was delicious but not a margarita. We didn't send them back and have to figure out how to reorder them next time. 200 Baht btw.

Ok guys, that happned to me last month. I stayed in the dorm room with a Korean guy (in Pattaya). The room is for four but at that time, only two of us stayed in. The problem is he was nude in front of me several times and i was not sure if it was a sign of him to me. Reading the many posts to this forum’s various sections I form the opinion that this is a definite possibility. I have not visited Bangkok for a couple of years but I hear from the forum that Soi Twilight is to be bulldozed. I make regular trips to Pattaya and like others I am very aware of the sad decline of the Sunee Plaza, so that now there is only three active gogos, whereas when I first went there in 2002 there were perhaps about ten. Host bars seem deserted or closed up. BoysTown is not what is was with the gogos being patronised to a great extent by noisy Chinese Women. Closure of iconic bars are being reported.
