There’s a large rainbow flag outside Le Stud and many guys, doormen?. It is a late night boy club with loud music and shows. Loud music and late night/ early morning never my thing , so no first hand report from me. One time in the old Hollywood club years ago left me almost deaf for a hour. Maybe with noise cancelling ear phones??

We decided to try the 10:30 pm cabaret show last night at Castro. Many seats were reserved but good seats were available. Drinks very reasonable, no cover charges. Cigarette smoking is permitted with ashtrays on the table but we were lucky and no one was smoking. Comfortable seating, good a/c. Lots of older gay farangs in audience, tipping the lip syncing lady Boys generously and having a good time. Lots of campy gay Asian men also loving the show. It reminded me of the early 1960’s. Dream Boys reopened last year, after a long time closed. Bar best for slim younger Thai guys fanciers. Not as many boys as they started with but still usually enough. Tobacco smoking up to you.

Euro Boys reopened with new owner and new concept. It's now an open air bar beer with host boys. It's one of many in Sunee. It was a narrow modern decor Gogo bar years ago with same bar name.

I went in, after many years, to take a friend visiting Pattaya for the first time. Wow, what a disappointment, He even said it looked liked they left the door open and let anyone work up on stage. Maybe was a good holiday season and some over ate, there were double chins, chunky bellies... What happened to the guys there....?

Double Shot is a large bar beer, formerly called Corner Bar. It's big, renovated and modern. Very blue lighting and a snooker table. Host boys wear same coloured shirts. They have a tuk-tuk.

A big new French restaurant opened recently right in the midst of the Covid19 pandemic. It’s very attractive and brightly lit. I passed by but dont recall the name. Its got a prominent corner location and its not far from Dicks Cafe, which is also open. The former Man Beer bar on the other end of the Complex is the new home of the old Double Shot bar formerly in Sunee Plaza. The Elephant bar has also been gutted in Sunee. It feels like the proverbial rats jumping ship before it sinks, in the remnants of Sunee Plaza. I hope the new French restaurant is successful and am amazed at their gutsy move to open now..

I’ve now heard from two sources that boy bar beers will open shortly. Both sources friends of friends and this should be considered hearsay. The boy massage parlors are open in Jomtien Complex and around Tuk Com. Fitness 7 gyms have reopened with limited hours.

The last remaining boy bar on the forlorn dark side soi in Sunee has moved. The One bar is now next to Euro Boys bar beer. Well, at least the sign has moved over. The One Bar run by Thai woman and is in the shop recently vacated by the restaurant run by tall ladyman.

Having a stroll down Walking street on Halloween night I was very surprised to see a big billboard about where soi Diamond starts from Walking street, proclaiming "Boys Yes" and photos of half naked muscular men. If I understand the billboard correctly it is the lady agogobar "Yes" in soi Diamond, one of the small side sois to Walking street, that after 2 am now turns into a boy showbar.
