  1. Forgive my curiosity, but what forces you to travel with 23+kg of baggage as a tourist in Thailand? Is it that you vacation for many months, or you need to take some medical supplies?
  2. It would have been polite if you reciprocated to the Belgian guy by describing your experiences with gogo boys and gay massage places, with explicit opinions about the off fees, tips for short and long time, and the plus and cons of getting the services of money boys through the web sites.
  3. Does this mean that in my 70s I should not get a snow-white penis? How sad! Seriously however, I think that penis whitening is a plus for some guys. I have had sex with gorgeous Thais who I would have preferred that their cocks were not so dark. I hate to be so prejudiced... but it is not a racist dislike of the color dark, but rather a preference of a UNIFORM body color.
  4. It's strange that he is "much more confident to wear swimsuits". He should be much more confident NOT wearing swimsuits... Unless he wears those white swimsuits that when wet reveal all the details of what is behind.
  5. It's nice to see that you have come to reason, since coffee and tea are nothing but water with some aggregated taste.
  6. To win a silly doll in a bar?? A lucky draw from them should be a doll in the form of a young boy of your choice you can take to your hotel room and keep in your possession for the night.
  7. Since boys are the primary consideration, and you deal with them in your hotel room, you can make your own "weather" there. Turn the air conditioner to maximum cold, and the boys under the covers will deliciously cling onto you as tight as they can, making you forget about the time of the year.
  8. How about experts in sex tourism, who get that income from other sources, like pensions?
  9. Maybe the people in procurement did run a complex algorithm that processed a bunch of statistical parameters, and the program spit out "489". These people then thought that it had to be this number for them to be right.
  10. Well, what about "sex" and "sober" in one sentence? Some people would not believe that it is possible.
  11. You are such a wise person! Indeed, only animals we drink water, having a distinct mouth or other means to do so. Plants, on the other hand, absorb the water from the soil and transport it through amazing mechanisms.
  12. I see you are also a bon vivant. We should ask bartenders at some of these Circuit and White Parties if they serve home-filtered water, or even better, if they can blend some vegetable juice with beets and kale.
  13. The legality of poppers would be the least of my concerns. While I have used viagra and cialis with some trust in what they are and have planned their availability, I always thought of poppers as an act of desperation, when some performance is not adequate and needs to improve. I have never carried poppers, and If someone offers them to me when he needs them himself, I usually decline. I don't think that one can trust what an anonymous person may have concocted with questionable knowledge, and even if they are simple alkyl nitrates they are not safe. They may not be a life risk, but our health is too important.
  14. I am also over 50. We can refuse to let this fact influence us. Many people in these parties come in a group, and if they were alone they would feel terrible. If we go in a group, then the group is all what we need to care for, and the rest of the world is irrelevant, except for the eye candy we may see all around us. As a senior tourist I am mostly by myself, but I don't let this intimidate me like it did as a young person. With good feelings about others and having nothing to lose we can approach other persons if there are no language barriers, and engage in casual conversation. There is no need to walk out of a party with a potential boyfriend. A few hours of fun is sufficient, and this is something WE can make for ourselves, and others. But if you find circuit parties, white, blue, yellow or other color parties silly, waste of time, and not worth the money paid for them, this is fine too.
  15. I felt out of place at parties as a young person, but not since my 50s. Today I can feel at ease in any party, dance all night since I stay sober, and recover quickly the next morning. I am also a farang, and I don't mind if I am a 0.1% minority among 99.9% Asians. I love Asians, especially when they speak English... I always carry ear plugs for the sound (my definition of music is the classical, although I am amused and tickled by other musics). I program my mind to be in the mood of fun, and I have fun.
  16. In my first trip to Thailand my tour guide on the last day gave me a moving story of him suffering from diabetes and having to inject insulin, and my bleeding hart didn't hesitate to give him a 1000 baht tip. Since then my heart has calmed down and if I am drawn to compassion by some guy I pray for him instead of giving money, unless the reason for compassion is very clear.
  17. You should be commended for your good taste. Of course, there is something in beauty and grace that is in the eye of the beholder, so we should respect everyone's preferences in these qualities. I'm trying to make this point: should we not start looking for grace in those activities like some arts and sports where grace is an important contributor to their success? I recently watched again a movie of my childhood, Disney's FANTASIA, which was so successful because it is the epitome of grace in its animation and music. No one should miss seeing it, even if it is more than 70 years old. In other activities, like power lifting, soccer, baseball, politics, war, success is achieved in winning, and grace is not relevant although it does not necessarily be missing.
  18. I'm not too expert here, but can one be sure that this is a boy?
  19. You should not need to risk your health drinking those spirits, since you already make plenty of use of local boys. There is some truth in that lower class people are wiser than upper class ones.
  20. This is not exclusive to Thai people. We should count our blessings.
  21. Yes, power weightlifters are known for their beauty and grace. Same as sumo wrestlers.
  22. There is little information about Indians in the Amazon jungle having interest in classical ballet or ice skating. And it is not clear if this is related to them being gay or straight.
  23. There are very sexy Asian sportsmen in general. I find some of the most attractive in diving, ice skating and gymnastics. And no, there is no argument as to which sport is more gracious or gay for this forum. What was stated is that sports differ in their requirements. A baseball player is rated for the many home runs he achieves, not for his grace or beauty. I don't think Babe Ruth was outstanding in these qualities. On the other hand, these are essential requirements in the other sports I mentioned. One interesting hint of this is that many straight men are comfortable with baseball but not so much with male ice skating and classical ballet.
  24. I think you had the right experience. When I went to Babylon for the first time in April 2005 I was also VERY popular there, and also in my 60s! Since then I have been staying in their barracks in multiple trips to BGK, and more or less popular I always have had a good time there. In Babylon, where Faranglaw was writing about, we are not so much "customers" for the Thai boys but rather "opportunities".
  25. Vinapu, you are a sage. Once the physical does not make 100% of the attraction anymore, it is wise to progressively make up the difference with the bank account. If in some future the account becomes 100% of my attraction it will be a happy stable situation especially if the account lasts as long as the desire, that is, until the last breath!
