  1. in case anyone would like to save the date,
  2. It is more about the principle than the real amount.
  3. …. is unfortunately universal everywhere. But I am afraid price discrimination towards tourists is more harsh here in Thailand. I can understand free admission for locals to temples and palaces or other heritage sites etc whilst tourists will be charged a fee. But i am surprised to learn that there are different prices for tourists at certain restaurants too. and i am not sure if it is even ethical to do so with meals e.g. the price difference for a buffet dinner atop Baiyoke sky hotel is almost 200 baht between tourists versus locals. 🧐😞😞😞
  4. This morning, BKK, or at least Silom looks like a different world - rainy, gloomy, being quiet with almost non existent traffic on the roads, compared to 3 days prior when it was very lively with crowds everywhere. we got some rain this morning. despite the rain, it is still pretty hot outside.
  5. of course, not! that would have been a sin. hunky masseurs from sabaidee helped me heal from my hangover, relieved my headache and neck pain.
  6. I was brought to our infamous Fake club the other night where they are having Songkran party outside. I couldnt believe what i saw. It was completely jam packed inside and there was a long line waiting outside. too many handsome guys with half naked perfect bodies. i felt like a little kid being in a candy store. finally we gave up fake club line and got into a different place nearby. It was a mixed place. Entry was 600 per person. A bottle of whatever whiskey with soda and ice was 3200 baht. water, music, alcohol and hot guys everywhere. we partied until like 1 am outside then moved to a different club which i dont remember or care its name. by the time i got back to my hotel room, it was 6 am. blame it to aging. after one night of party, my body needed a day to recover, refresh and rejuvenate. hoping to get into craziness again tonight to celebrate their last day (?) of Songkran. 7. thank you. i used to know only two quarters. now i know three quarters. i am almost there.
  8. Thank you. It’s just a coincidence. I wish you could join there too.
  9. did they all stand up once you entered the store like the Arena guys would?
  10. I can endorse Mai Mai’s quality and skills. 🥰
  11. Many thanks for the reminder. i am not sure if id like those infamous water fights out there in the public as much as i do in my bathtub with a boy. 😉
  12. rule #1 : Be the first mover and pick any corner.
  13. Let’s complete the whole row so that no boy will feel left behind! 😉
  14. A few familiar faces including one whom i still yet to meet in person - X. if i am not mistaken, he is an ex jupiter model.
  15. i thought it was Jupiter to be exact or at least Moonlight.
  16. an unsolicited advice - an acute urinary retention deserves some further evaluation preferably by a urologist.
  17. my concern was that most of the businesses wont open on Songkran. I found some clips on youtube that those exchange counters on basement level of the airport open from 5:30 till midnight. i am not sure if it would change during the holidays.
  18. I am sure many have talked about jt multiple times before and I am sorry for having to create a new topic on this subject. For some reason, I am having a glitch using the search function. I usually used XOne or that jewellery shop on Surawong for exchanging money on my previous trips. But this time I am arriving on Songkran, and I dont think either will open. So I am thinking to use the ones in the lower levels of the airport which many have recommended here. My flight will arrive late so I wonder how late they open.
  19. It is confusing. the name has changed on Agoda and Booking dot com sites.
  20. No doubt about the size. Their one bedroom deluxe suite is something like 600 Sq ft.
  21. it seems Siri Sathorn by UHG has recently changed its name - now the Quarter Saladaeng by UHG. Have you stayed there lately? Many of recent reviews commented on the need for maintenance especially carpets, towels and furniture inside the rooms.
  22. Having eaten there only once with a local friend, my experience is limited. but i didnt find anything to complain during my short visit for a dinner that time. if they are joiner friendly i would have loved to stay there.
  23. the issue is i would need to change the name of the other guest two or three times a day. 😉
