  1. All the guys look super hung and sexy to fuck with. How would you compare them to guys say from Colombia or Brazil? I know that DR is mostly mixed. Are they more verbal and ferocious in bed?
  2. I think a travel buddy without strings attached will be perfect, especially if he knows some English and teach me some Portuguese. This will certainly make the trip more authentic and enjoyable. I find the infamous Brazilian jealousy counterintuitive because they are the ones having sex or being intimate with hundreds of men and women albeit it's work. Regardless, from a pure number perspective, shouldn't it be the other way around?
  3. I wish I could go this Nov, but work is picking up, so I can't really afford to go. Besides, the whole 2nd wave is getting serious. Maybe April if things can turn around and vaccine proves effective! I like the idea of a travel companion that you can explore the city and also break the bed with. lol. Numazu1 can certainly lecture me in that regard.
  4. Al final, another update! Do you think Nov is a good time to visit Brazil? You have so much insight. It would be nice to catch up in person if our paths cross in Brazil. By the way, on a nosy front, how did some of the guys who prominently featured in previous posts gradually fade away? Was there any drama? Even if they were GPs, I still think there must be some genuine attraction or chemistry among you guys. Or they had already accepted it as part of the deal?
  5. I was planning to go this year in November, but had to scrap my plans due to the pandemic. Will wait for tomcal's full report!
  6. Excellent report. Even though I lack the bravery to travel in this crazy time, I still quite enjoy peeking the world through others' lens. Out of curiosity, as a fellow Asian guy, what's your experience like in general in these Latin American countries? Latin American is probably somewhere you don't meet a lot of Asians, maybe except Peru and Brazil which have quite some Chinese and Japanese populations.
  7. Thanks for the fantastic report. As for the black guy you just picked up on the street, can you do that in SP? I mean how did you know he's offering?
  8. Will be so fun to see tomcal give the stern thanks but no thank you live. lol
  9. I believe being known among the guys there does help because some other posters had shared stories of guys playing dumb and demanding more even after agreeing to the price. I will have so much to learn from you! Will you still go to Brazil this year so I can learn from the master?
  10. Am I that transparent? lol The business in NA is definitely more like independent contractor and guys are likely to get together to discuss which clients are good and which are bad. With some practice and more observation, I think I should be able to get the hang out it!
  11. I agree with you. Sex apart, the opportunity of being able to experience local culture and different foods are more than enough to compensate for scort situation. It's been my observation so far. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to collect more samples later this year. I wouldn't say it's the price differential, but maybe a bruise to the ego. Gradually, I will get over that!
  12. That doesn't really help. lol. I think I tick all the boxes, but maybe being a twenty something year old Asian guy with a swimmer body, I don't have what the local guys are looking for aesthetically? Well, I think my experience has been quite polarizing. It's either they really wanna have sex with an Asian guy cuz there's very few locally or they quote me really astronomical prices. But again, that's just my experience so far. Hopefully, I can experience more later this year!
  13. It's definitely different culture. From everyone's comments, it seems that it's also a great way to keep the programa guys on their toes. I'm not afraid of negotiating. In fact, that's what I do every day for a living. It's just that how to do it tastefully and politely in the local culture while not making it a long drawn out process. La practica hacer al maestro. lol
  14. I never expected my small comment could spark so many responses! Sorry to rain on your post. You touched on a few very important points. One has to know the local markets extremely well in order to gauge that price. It's way better in a negotiation to start low and end on a high note than the other way around. Also, consistency and reputation help tremendously. But again, the concept of fair price is so subjective. Some guys may double or triple the standard local price, but still have a bargain compared to domestic price. But one thing I don't quite understand is that why would you wanna tell your friends about these over paying clients? Shouldn't you want exclusive access than having everyone go after them? If I were them, I would wanna keep my mouth shut and monopolize that access for as long as I can. After all, it's a limited shelf life business. Don't you want to plan strategically?
  15. I agree with you on that there's likely more supply given that a lot will be out of work and have to resort to some extraordinary measures to replenish that lost revenue. But in the meantime, I am concerned that crime rates will go up as more and more people become desperate and try to make some quick bucks. A lot of people seem to be tightening their belts. Maybe it's the perfect time to splurge on a budget. lol
  16. That's good to know. However, my experience has at times been that as soon as they figure out you are a foreigner, they would give you a gringo price or say something like guys of their calibre could make 200-400 dollars in the states. I mean nothing wrong with negotiating, but doing it in a foreign language kinda takes all the fun out of the thing you are actually interested in.
  17. Do guys adjust their prices accordingly to reflect the weakness in their local currency? How about local prices in general?
  18. The situation is indeed very grim right now. I have the feeling that my trip to South America in late Oct early Nov will be unrealistic given that the Southern Hemisphere will enter its winter season very quickly, which seems to be the hotbed for this virus.
  19. Hopefully things can improve quickly. I am planning to visit South America in Oct or November. Sorry to hear that you had to cancel your trip.
  20. I don't necessarily think a tour guide is necessary. I would say just talk to a few guys on Grindr or other gay dating apps and meet for food (it's a great way to gauge if there are any chemistry and connection. If there is none, both parties can part ways after food without feeling hurt. You are in a foreign country after all, so it's better to keep the fuss at a minimum level. I would say do not go for drinks because who knows if your drinks could be compromised). Many guys are very friendly and love to show you their culture if you can cover transportation, food, and entrances to museums. I met a couple nice guys just for sightseeing. I got quite lucky maybe because I was the extreme minority and exotic person there, or just because Colombians are horny. Some other members might have commented on it, but neither Bogota nor Medellin has a large Afro/dark population. You may want to try Cali instead. Paisa have much lighter skin. Final note. I notice that you have like 4-5 days in Bogota. I don't think that's enough since Bogota is a huge city. But again, I am a slow traveler. But something you may want to keep in mind.
  21. Not sure if the Embassy you are referring to is the one in Zona G. If it is, it's a great area to stay. Very trendy and upscale. I find most patrons there are either business professionals or mid to upper class in Bogota. Just be prepared that the food there can get quite expensive.
  22. tomcal is top? Where did I get the idea that he's a total bottom? lol Always fantastic to read your posts!
  23. that's a sexy guy. definitely a lot of work goes into his body.
  24. After reading everyone's comments, I believe adding either Rio or BA seems to be the most logical way to go. I came across the Houston flight as well. The caveats with that if I remember correctly are the fare, being at least 300 more, and the flight going to Houston being so exorbitantly early. I don't mind red eye flight, but flight at 6 something is just too much for me. Yes, I did notice that Argentinos would speak quite differently from other Latinos. That was my experience in Cancun at least. They also speak very fast, kinda like singing. I guess getting old isn't so bad after all. Going to bed early and getting up early, at least according to the 2017 Nobel prize in Physiology and Medicine in regards to circadian rhythm, are good for your health.
  25. The only reason that SP is on the list is because there's no good flight from the West Coast to Rio, either exorbitantly long (over 30 hours) or insanely expensive. However, AC does offer a good direct flight between Toronto and SP. That's why I am thinking about going to SP. Not to mention flights between SP and Rio are unbelievably cheap. Are you of Latino descent? Bed at 10 and up at 4:30. I must say that sounds like a West Coast guy up for early trading or a business guy that deals with a lot of east coast customers. Just a wild guess. If I go to BA in the end, I have to sharpen my Spanish skill, which currently is barely conversational.
