  1. Vanbcanthony, spanish and portugues have quite the same sytanxs so if you can speak spanish, learning portugues is easier. There are many words that match in both languages, some have the opposite meaning!! (eg.: exquisito) but which makes the big difference is pronuntiation. Even more, slang in Brazil is different in every state, Brazil is huge! Anyway, if you know the language traveling is more fun. I will send you a link by PM.
  2. You've got ATM in every shopping mall. To avoid the extra charge you could pay with debit card.- You should try Recoleta at night, ask at your hotel about pub's area in Recoleta neighborhood. Most places are mixed now, gay & straight, although you can find some gay places. I recommend a restaurant in Palermo, Pepo Pepona. You can find some strippers there, and may be they work as escorts too, I don't know. If you are planning to go to Contramano, I think Sunday is the best night, definitely not Friday.
  3. With regard to Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Montevideo (Mvd)is a tiny Buenos Aires (BsAs), population is x10. Even so, you can find 2 saunas in Mvd and 3 gay saunas in Bs As. Unlike Brazilian saunas, there's no boys for rent in bathhouses. Trust Soytuyo y Leonos better than street "chongos" or "taxis" (slang for escorts). I wouldn't trust www.escortwiz for escorts in MVD. Uruguay is not the best place for rent boys. I would choose Buenos Aires. Grindr always help. As for shuttle to and from airports, in Mvd. (aeropuerto de Carrasco) take a taxi and also in Bs As (Aeroparque - AEP); but if in Bs As (Ezeiza - EZE) you can take a bus (www.tiendaleon.com) which is cheaper and safe.
  4. How to find your way in Colombian cities. Is not easy to find an address in Colombian cities, even asking, and even asking in Spanish. Two "types" of streets: Calle - running from East to West Carrera (Cra, K, Ka) - running from South to North Ex.: in Medellin "Club 55" address is: CALLE 55 #45 - 44 Look for Calle 55 and Carrera 45, from this corner you have to go 44 metres toward Carrera 46. And Club 55 is at your right (even numbers right, uneven numbers left) Calle 55 is named Perú also, but just a few streets have a name. Ex.: "Donde aquellos Bar" address is: Cra. 38 #9A - 26 You have to go 26 metres on Carrera 38 toward Calle 10 (the next after 9A) the bar is on your right and we can have a drink! Just a trivial details but it can help.
  5. This is not a website but a hotel for LGBTI people (as they say) in Medellin and they provide escorts services. although I guess is not an agency but they must have a "menu". Does anyone know about this hotel? http://tuhotelroma.com/servicio-de-acompañante.html
  6. Reading snwbrdr posts I dare say I'm not his target, and I wouldn't play with myself when that kind of hunk is around!
  7. snwbrdr015 you are a master player!!! You could help me!!
  8. I'm really excited for my next trip to Colombia although is not my first time there. If any of you guys, is planning to be there the second half of September and want to share a beer or just travel tips, let me know. I do speak spanish, so may be I could be of any help. I'll be in Bogota 2 or 3 days, in Medellin 5 days and as I don't know Cali yet, I think I could give it a go (caleños I mean).
  9. Have you seen the Saint Moritz sauna ad? I think most of them work there as masseurs and probably you can get what you want for less at the venue.
  10. Here is another link to Bogotan guys. $ included https://www.gigoloerotichouse.com/acompanantes-24-horas-en-bogota
  11. I hope this is updated http://www.netgay.com.br/netgay.asp and deeper http://www.netgay.com.br/escortsrjmenu.asp
  12. My piece of advice about safety in Latin American countries (and beyond). May be the thread title could be changed to "safety tips for LA countries" I think that most important of all is to go unnoticed. Of course you cannot camouflage if you are a Trump kind of guy. You know that in most Latin American countries people's skin colour is dark (brown, olive, tanned) but because of European immigration (or colonisation) lighter skin people can be found . So, many of USA people can walk along the streets unnoticed as long as you don't speak loudly AND don't look like tourist. How not to look like tourists? No cargo trousers, no hiking shoes in downtown, no hip bag. When in Rome..., so you can check for the natives style, look at the people at the street. In Brazil flip-flops and sungas (or swim trunks), no surf shorts at the beach! No sombrero vueltiao in Colombia. Last but not least, when at saunas with os garotos de programa or prepagos do not show that you've got too much cash on you. You don't have to buy him a drink, most natives don't. Do not pay for the most expensive room if not needed. Let them know that the first price they give you si too much, even when you can afford it. You can ask any other customer if he knows the average rate in that place. I hope this information may be helpful for your getaway to Latin America.
  13. Indeed, the one in the hotel. Is the only playground open 24/7 in Bogota, I dare say in Colombia. There were no masseur when I was there a few weeks ago. What does the service include?
