I like that idea. So I guess I could say I threw away an old pair last month. A weird coincidence, my favorite poster over there also decided to quit about the same time I did. I know a lot of guys go back, but not sure if I ever will.

During tonight's VP debate, with questions about COVID and about reacting to Trump refusing to leave office, the thought crossed my mind how the inauguration itself will most likely be scaled down to almost nothing if the Dems do win. As far as Biden's team moving in, the idea of a hand off from the Trump mask deniers seems daunting to me. The money that would have spent on the inauguration balls might need to go towards ridding the White House of the COVID virus. But any hand off meetings strike me as risky. I would not trust any of Trump's quislings.

I worry the White House is one big germ box, how many are at risk, people that work there for their career, before and hopefully after the Trump crowd clears out. How many of them are getting sick? And whoever does Trump hair and makeup: What a risky job!

The story sort of begins and ends with Michael. I loved the entire cast. Not a Ryan Murphy fan so was pleasantly surprised by the movie.

Several news sources reporting that 11 of the Cleveland debate staff now test positive for COVID-19. Others report Trump was diagnosed 72 hours ago.

Each additional day Trump is at Walter Reed can help the Biden campaign. If he has fatigue from COVID, Trump may be laid up for a while. It's tough stuff.

I agree. Charlie Carver and Matt Bomer were so good. I knew nothing about the play except that the setting was decades ago. It takes a noble gentleman to admit he's not the #1 cock gobbler in the room. That said, network news reports this evening that ongoing anti-mask/lockdown protests continue in London. A segment of US doctors, health gurus and others continue to spew their position that the pandemic should not require Americans to wear masks or social distance. And Rand Paul spewed false pandemic claims about herd immunity this week while he criticized Dr. Fauci during more Senate hearings. Sounds like the pandemic death toll is sort of acceptable to these people. Now, some better news this evening: COVID hospitalizations in LA and Orange County are dropping. The data varies depending on which news source, but in any case, good to hear. I should say something about A.M., to stay with the OP. The article attributed her being basically standing at the head of European affairs. Reminds me of a pre-covid protest I attended where one of the LA board of supervisors spoke about kidnapping and murder of gays in Chechnya, and how we need the leader of the free world, Angela Merkel to stand up to Russia. That got a rousing cheer from the crowd. I look forward to better times when we can gather safely, and better times after bad-POTUS is out of the WH.

I also continue sending $$ to the Dems. I worry a lot how Trump could win too many swing states, again. The poll numbers worry me.

Trump is wreaking havoc now. He has messed up most everything he touched. Not conceding to Biden is almost to be expected. Getting worked up about it now is one option. Hopefully our democracy has enough chutzpah to wade through whatever unfolds under BabyDumbDumb at the end, his end.

If we're really over 45, if the perfessor is right, everyone must still vote.
