  1. Any current info on X boys?  I stopped going there several years ago because of that strange man/mamasan who insisted that I could not talk with the boy unless I bought them a drink.  I like to see a boy, call him and ask top or bottom or both, and how much his tip.  I don't need to buy him a drink - I need to off him!

Is this still what is happening at X Boys?

  2. I too like spicy Thai food.  Tell the waiter, a couple of times, that you do NOT want "tourist spicy" but you want "Thai spicy".

One year I am my Thai friend visited NYC and went to a Thai restaurant.  My friend called for the chef to come out and told him the same thing - that we both wanted Thai spicy!

  3. I think someone mentioned Al Saray Lebanese.  Good check mark!

Taking a break from Thai food?  Road House on the corner of Rama 4 and Surawong has a varied menu and draft beer.  The shrimp dishes and burgers are on the top of the list!

  4. "You like the host bar scene? Pattaya has it."

Yes, Pattaya has it, but not in Jomtien.  Check out the host bars in other sections.  including boyztown.  You take a seat and order a drink.  When a boy approaches you say, 'maybe later'.  In Jomtien you never see the boys again.  They relax in front with their back to you.  In boyztown and other places the boys are still moving around, sighting who you are checking out, smiling at you, and are available by only a nod of your head.

It seems that the bar owners in Jomtien need a new business plan!!!!

  5. ---"Most times when I visit Jomtien complex I just walk through it without seeing any boy I fancy enough to make decision to sit down in the bar and buy him and myself a drink. And it is difficult to sit down and have a drink alone with the intention to observe the boys in the bar first. If you haven't bought a boy a drink immidietly when arriving, my experience is same as yours, the boys will ignore you sitting facing the soi so they have their backs to you and looking their phones or chatting among themselves, or running around in the soi out of reach for you. I prefer Sunee plaza or Boyztown."---

This is exactly what happens.  A real problem in Jomtien that does not exist in Boyztown!

  6. ----"I walk down the main soi in Jomtien Complex and can never decide which bar to sit it. And when I do make a choice it seems to be the wrong choice."----

Exactly.  My problem also.  So more boys in one bar the higher the success rate?  LOL?

  7. There has been more news recently about Screwboys but I have never had any luck there.  Not recently but the three [3] previous visits ended in the men failing to preform!  One wanted to go because his son was having a birthday party!!!!!

    Is Screwboys under new 'leadership'?

  8. "...Recently, I heard that they no longer want Gay clientele and that the breakfast is no longer good. As I'm staying there in January I hope you can shed some light on this..."

I recently was back at the Tarntawan for one week and then returned two weeks later.  I brought in a different male each night.  NO problems at all!  One of my thai boy friends came along one evening with three openly gay friend and we had a good time in the lobby before we all went out.  NO problems.

The breakfast?  Same as always.  Open food trays plus ordering your hot food.  They respond quickly to any special request!

    You will have no problems!

  9. Reader:  I begin to wonder if it really makes much of a difference in this land where--as I'm fond of saying--all things are possible.

SO right!  This is a point that many westerns in Thailand fail to understand because they view Thai culture through western eyes!

  10. Great place.  yes, rotation much too slow.  But just sip your beer slow.  Yes, manager is a great guy and the staff too.  Some of the guys that the manager and staff tells you are top will bottom for you if you ask.  The guys are always polite and friendly!  Check this shop out!

  11. New Details added:   THANKS!

    • Sun Bar:  attentive boys; a number of Laos boys.  In my experience they seem keener to interact here and approach rather than the more 'leave you alone till you ask' style in some other Jomtien Bars.
    •
    • The Venue:  Cambodian boys.  I would have thought that the Venue was more famous for its Thai showboys than Cambodian Boys
    •
    •  @home:  Cambodian boys.  They do open at 4pm, and kinda open with the 'B Team', the 'A Team' seem to arrive later - almost as and when. Some may therefore be freelance I suppose, I don't know.  But I can confirm that the all appear to be Cambodian and their English skills vary hugely often proportionate to the length of time they have worked here.
