I can probably answer any questions you might have -- but unclear what information you are looking for? I try to keep my posts up to date as I travel regularly to Colombia and speak with Colombian friends daily. So if I don't have the answer, I can usually ask around. If you are just looking for prepagos, start with Mileroticos (as noted above) as those are the most professional of the scorts. They pay to post ads and they can include reviews -- albeit solely in Spanish. As a foreigner, I would strongly urge you to visit El Recreo de Adan in Zona T (Bogotá). It's a board game themed restaurant-bar where groups gather. You will be invited to join other groups playing game as the atmosphere is very social. It is also a favourite hunting spot for rolos interested in foreigners, so a win for everybody involved. Do know that there is increasing anger against foreigners in recent years as more tourist arrive to enjoy the country and more are choosing to stay. Particularly in Medellín where there is a growing housing crisis. So be aware of your surroundings, just as you would in any other foreign country.

Spending next week in Colombia - half in Bogota, half in Medellin. Hoping to get some good intel from anyone who might have visited recently. Looks like many of these threads are years old and the info is probably out of date. I've been to both cities before and had some really good luck on Grindr and Mileroticos. Unfortunately I did have one terrible experience though. I don't feel comfortable sharing the specifics here, but I learned to watch for warning signs for future encounters. Make sure profiles have a face and legit social media. Would love to get some recommendations for guys to spend time with... and warnings for anyone I should avoid. Mostly into twinks and muscle twinks. Once they hit bodybuilder phase, I'm out. In Bogota, I'm planning to head to Garage. I went once to Gigolo House (I think that's where I went... 3 levels place?) but had no idea how things work there and I speak only a little Spanish. Then probably Theatron. I question the statistics in many countries. Even in USA, many serious crimes (like police homicides) do not get reported correctly. In Bogota, when I was mugged the police were unwilling to file a report and the website the country established to submit reports was a dead link.

I also hired Phillipe as my guide when I was in Bogota. He was great. If you wish to great you at the airport on arrival and take you to the hotel, he can arrange that transfer as well. He was unable to do the tour with me on another day, and he recommended his colleague, was good too. -
There are many clinics that cater to LGBTQIA+ health in Bogotá. One of the best known (for gay men) is Clinica Salud Sexual Masculina in Usaquén Cl. 99 #49- 38 Oficina 609, Barrios Unidos, Bogotá, Cundinamarca. They also advertise in some of the local online sites and forums. There is another on Carrera 7 near the Four Seasons hotel that I know about that is a walk-in clinic, but a Google search turned up nothing.

Boys, I'm talking about infections of STD in the throat. 😇 I always inspect cocks before sucking, unfortunately these infections aren't always visible, and boys may not even know they're ill. Except practicing oral sex with condom I don't know how to avoid when dating lots of boys, especially rent boys. I had no intention of taking antibiotics without getting sick. As a young retiree, I've been to Colombia several times this year, with a view to perhaps settling there for the long term (looking for a one year place to rent will be the goal for my january trip) for boys of course, weather during European winters and the way of life. I'm going back in a few days, for some weeks. I have multiple and anonymous partners, both paid and unpaid. I'm taking PrEP but on my first trip this year (on the last few days, hopefully) I got an STI.😱 For the trip that followed, I drastically reduced the number of my partners... It's not the first time I've had one (usually one of the three : syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea), I know quickly because I usually have strong symptoms that I quickly recognise as it's always in the throat. For the antibiotic treatment to work, you need to know what the STI is. Having an STI is one thing but being positive and contaminate other guys is another, so testing is essential. In my country / city testing is easy, quick and free of charge for sex workers (includind foreigners) and LGBT people. I was wondering if there were any places in Bogota where to get tested anonymously (especially for strangers with a low level in spanish language, let's say A2-), discreet, free of charge or not and treated if positive. If not, does anyone know how STD testing and treatments work in Bogota? At what cost approx? A big thank you.

Hi all, I will be visiting Colombia for the first time December. Being my first visit I would like to hire various guides to show me round the cities. I will be visiting Bogota, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Medellin and Cali. I know for Bogota a few members have recommend Felipe and will probably give him a go. However does anyone know or recommend guides in the other cities. -
Went over the weekend to Bogota. Complices Spa was not my thing - it's either wear underwear or nude. Many guys just did underwear which to me killed the vibe of what a bath house is for and turned down the volume per se. I would suggest asking that question in a thread about Colombia. Here, we are supposed to be talking about Santo Domingo. In a few words (I have been once in Bogota and once in Medellin), I never had an issue bringing guys to my Airbnb. -
Yes. It is different type of spa since part of the premises include a Gay History Hall of Fame (or similar description) that is open to the public. @Colombiaman on Instagram takes many of his private tours here if you want a preview. There are a couple of colleges/universities nearby so there can be some rare finds at this spot. The facilities are clean and well maintained but definitely showing their age, and the crowd can be erratic -- gets busy on the weekends but weekdays can be spotty to nearly deserted. Check out their events calendars -- the stripper shows usually pack in the crowds on weekends. Complices is one of the remaining spas in Bogotá that features massage attendants so that is also an option.

Hi Folks: Getting out of the heat and heading to Rio. Ticket prices are very wonky now, seeing one way prices from 350-3500 USD at different times of the same day or for one day, but not an adjacent day! Did not find good fares to Fortaleza, perhaps due to connection or airline partner issues. Did see some reasonable non Rio or SP fares, but only to Belo Horizonte. It is a bus ride from BH to some charming Colonial cities. FWIW Bogota, Panama City, Ecuador, and Peru had good fares. Montevideo via Copa and Buenos Aires, Santiago (via multiple airlines) were a bit pricier vs Brazil, but not super high. Cheers.....

I will be traveling to Bogotá and Medellín with my boyfriend soon. While in Colombia, we want to visit a bathhouse. Babylon Baths in Bogotá appears to be exactly what we are looking for (clean, modern, big, etc.) but I see that it is no longer open. Is there something similar in Bogotá or Medellín that is still open? Advice on what times are best to go would also be welcome. We also enjoy massage while on vacation. If anyone out there would care to share some recommendations for where to get a massage in Bogotá or Medellín that would be welcome too.

Basically I'm thinking about going to Peru in August. I like stripper bars but I don't know anything about Lima, Peru. As an FYI I've already been to: Santiago, Chile BA, Argentina Mexico City, Mexico Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Sao Paulo, Brazil Rio, Brazil San Jose, Costa Rica Bogota, Colombia Medellin, Colombia Cartagena, Colombia Montevideo, Uruguay But I want to try somewhere new and Peru has been on my bucket list but I don't see anything about gay clubs or saunas or stripper bars. Any opinions as to if it's worth my time to go there and if they have any of the above (male strippers, saunas)?

Few words on Cartagena Gabanna Gay Disco. I think its one of the best, not fancy, but the main hall is cool, its small, maybe max 50 visitors, many nice guys and last time (saturday party), 2 sexy strippers, who mingle with guests, show their erect cock, etc. Everybody knows everybody. Bar staff is super friendly. There is a dark room, no aircon. I was partying with a friend, who was with his bestie (28,26). His bestie is a waiter and an escort, nice cute top guy. 3am the party was over, I joked about 3some, which was enthusiastically accepted. The motel was right behind Ibiz, my friend new about it. Strippers are generally not the main theme in Colombian clubs. Places like Gigolo House and Garage (both Bogotá) are stripper bars where the boys will do a single dance at the end of their stage obligation fully erect. Most then walk the audience offering up a feel for tips. Not sure if that fits the bill for what you want. Many clubs and saunas in the larger cities will bring in a feature stripper to do a 20 -30 minute show during an event. Again, depending on the space, these shows can be completely vanilla or full audience interaction up to penetration -- just depends on the venue and what the stripper has actually been hired to do. So I would suggest just asking around at any of the local gay bars you hit up. Colombia has a LOT of private gay events that feature entertainment far wilder than what you find in the local bars. If you are up to it, you can apply to be a member of Angels Naked Party which runs a number of different events in Bogtotá y Medellín. Good luck with your search.
