And there is a never ending supply. I still remember intelligent people I knew well contributing money to Hooboy. He was staying in $1000 a night suites and filling them up with boys from the money he was making from the site. And Daddy has followed right along begging for money from people who ought to know better. If you want to throw your money away give it to OZ and Tampa who run the site the way it should be run and never lower themselves to be Beggars What you wrote makes perfect sense. I remember reading posts made by Hooboy bragging about his travels and the hotels he used and the countless boys he hired. Obviously, the money to do the things he did came from somewhere. I took him at his word and never thought that he was disingenuous when he asked for money. I also never thought that in addition to being dumb, that the "Daddy" character was also a con man who would stoop to begging. What is it people say - ? Birds of a feather - - - ? I do thank OZ and Tampa Yankee for allowing us to use this forum to update events over at Daddys. I know that the hope is that those who come over here will stick around, and I hope that they do. Some may stick around here for a while but without a critical mass they will grow frustrated. Much as I love you TY, I suspect you could count the number of folks who go to (or avoid) either site because of management on your fingers & toes. If a forum's got that critical mass of regulars to provide good interaction between posters, it takes truly god awful moderators to kill it off and, if it doesn't, no amount of effort is going to breath life into it. ---- Me, I'm committed to hanging around at least until I get to read TY's first person accounts of the night life in Havana. I should live so long! We'll be here tomorrow, next week and next year providing a fair and open process alternative for those who desire to share with their peers fair substantive reviews of escorts. You'd think Daddy's message forum had suddenly become wild and unruly. The fact is Daddy's message forum had become as quiet as a senior citizen's home compared to male escort forums of the past. Old-timers like me will recall the seminal escort forum over at Atkol which was closed down before 2000. Remember all the controversies, such colorful characters as Aaron Lawrence and Jeremy Jordan Dawson, and the howls of laughter at all the naughty posts. Then Hooboy started his site and forum. I got involved late in the day when doug69, woodlawn, FinFanFoom and others regularly submitted "contrarian" opinions. The controversies continued after Hooboy died and Daddy took over. EscortSpeak then followed the meltdown and bannings at Daddy's forum. The mean girls had total freedom there to post and, yes, that forum was wild and unruly. EscortSpeak was not a site, however, that could compete with the full services of Daddy's site. By contrast, this site is extensive, well-designed and has grown to over 17,000 members. It is able to compete with Daddy's site. Not once have you heard any "whining" from the owners and moderators of this site about getting "cranky" and "short tempered". Not once has anyone here prostrated himself (except in homage of Ralph Woods and some other beautiful guys) or begged you for "donations". Compared to the past, Daddy's forum has all of the excitement of a funeral parlor, yet he whines about his crankiness, closes his message forum, and insults his existing members with a sign on the door that says: "Fuck you. Go away. I'll get new patrons." There is new life in this forum, as Daddy (unfortunately in my opinion) continues to self-destruct. I visit this site regularly but seldom post anymore. To this day, I don't understand why more people aren't over here day in and day out. This site has so many better features than Daddy's site. I especially like the home page with featured persons, most hits and new profiles. I love seeing fully naked pics--thanks TY, lutherspeak and lookin for some recent titillations. And I always enjoy the posts and news emanating from old friends like Marc and kindred spirits like Adam Smith. Who knows? It is VERY convenient, rooms are good, service is mediocre. There are many gay b & b's in the Village is you are one to like that kind of accomodation, or if you are a priceline type, the Hyatt Regency comes up very frequently, as does the Delta Montreal.. both are about a 5-10 minute cab ride from the strip clubs and the Village and can be a nice 15 minutes stroll if the weather is permitting. I have stayed at both of these and have been very pleased... There is a very good subway system that till take you from both of these hotels directly into the Village.
