If MER gets a commish or otherwise benefits finantially, I'd just as soon click through from here (or even if it just makes the BF's birthday weigh a little less heavily on OZ's pocketbook ). I was about to PM you when the thought hit me that others on the board might feel similarly, so I'm posting the question here. Feel free to delete this if talking about board financial arrangements is a major faux pax or otherwise frowned upon by more knowledgable internet citizens. If you connect from here we get part of the fee. We are most appreciative if members and visitors access through our portal. Helps pay the bills. Either way, the charge is the same to the user. They receive a small percentage of the amount of credits one purchases ... unless OZ has some different arrangement which I doubt in this case. In the TV world, there are teleprompters and something interesting and similar for interviews where it projects the interviewer over the interviewees' lens. I have seen some really hot guys with great personality give hot and fun shows. Most of the time, I'd go on there thinking, "Okay..I'll just see who's on tonight" and then I'd get on there and think, "OH MY GOD! Maybe I should help him out!" followed by money being deducted from my account I am SO glad that they can't use the guys from the FLIRT site in real life to sell things. Jesus! I'd be driving down the street and see guys selling cars. I'd drive over 5 people, a dog and a fire hydrant just to get into that lot for a new car that I couldn't afford. What if they sold houses? They'd say to me, "But sir, you've already bought five houses from me already today! Do you really have money for a SIXTH house?" The button sports my Flirt nic and a logo that mirrors F4F's style. And Google hasn't done this for MER, which I visit more often than Flirt. If I'm reading it right, the user (you) has to choose to install buttons. Here's a link that tells a website owner how to build a custom button for the user to click on and install on his Google Toolbar but, again, it looks like the user has to take the initiative and choose to click on it before it's installed. Haven't yet come across anything that suggests websites are 'pushing' hot links onto unwitting users via the Toolbar, and you just may be the canary in the coal mine.
