Members tassojunior Posted May 5, 2015 Members Share Posted May 5, 2015 I'm currently visiting in Berlin for 3 days and then to Budapest. Just got here today so I'll update later. Just went to Tabasco. The Tabasco/Pinnocio/BlueBoy complex hasn't changed one bit in the 35 or so years I've been visiting. A supermarket of guys- between the 3 bars and the small park next door and the street in front there were about 50 at 9pm on a Monday night. For those who complain that the "scene" has disappeared- it's still here same as ever. I miss the many Polish guys who used to be there. There are some Romanians and many Turkish-Germans. The majority now by far are North African-Arabs and the guys are overly pushy now. They grab you constantly and are hard to get rid of. I just walked back to my hotel room as I don't feel comfortable carrying much money there and want to put stuff in my safe in case I do bring anyone back. The beautiful gay Nollendorfplatz neighborhood has gotten extremely nice but is still incredibly cheap for tourism. I have a 4-Star hotel 3 blocks from Tabasco and 1 block from KaufhausDesWesterns department store for $59/night taxes included. Any suggestions? I know about laundro.mat but doubt I'll venture to it. I've found the Tabasco/Pinocchio bars to be fairly quiet except for the weekends. And I've never taken anyone back from there. Although I tend to only visit in Winter. Maybe that makes a difference? I haven't heard of laundro.mat - but do give us some info if you go there! It probably won't be too long before I am back in Berlin again. In the autumn of 2013, I was in Berlin for a week prior to my tour and did go to the bar/club as mentioned by you. I started getting hit on as soon as some of the guys saw me outside. I ignored them. When I left to go to the leather bar whose name escapes me now but it's a popular one, some guy was persistent in being with me. After I'd gotten to the front door of the other club, the doorman did NOT let me in. He stated a private party was goin' on; I, to this day, did NOT believe him. Guess he thought I was only interested in "Twinkish" or youngish guys and would not fit in very well in a bar full of studs! ...don't know when I will be returning to Berlin, but I did like the place very much and would liked to have been with a few, gigantically hung, uncut Germans or others! Nothing but nasty Arabs/Turks. One of the bars had a Bartender with very active Turret's syndrome-that was the highlight of the evening! But the one good-looking German guy was occupied with two clients. Stopped in another bar called of all things Boy Toy (or Toy Boy?) bar. Only a couple people were there. So I went back to Tabasco. A short good looking guy who said he was Bulgarian followed me in and started talking. Before I knew what was happening he and another guy were grabbing all over me----unfortunately it was for the wallet. Dumb I had about 300 euros in it which all vanished in a second. I guess I was lucky he didn't get any credit cards and even more lucky I didn't bring him back to my hotel. The bar's attitude was sort of so what...... Funny I take all sort of precautions in places like Columbia, etc. but I've always felt totally safe in Berlin. Unforunately you're not dealing with Germans or Poles in Berlin anymore. On my last night I went to several of the many gay bars around Fuggerstrasse and surrounding blocks and the guys are really amazing and many young guys are on the streets and in the bars looking for whatever. I stumbled on one called ReiseBar that is a combination bar and sex chamber where you have to be buzzed in. There was a young guy hanging out in the sex part who seemed to be there for income.There was a naked party at another I didn't go in, and several attractive guys milling around the streets Also I went to the Zoo Bahnhof area which used to be the trade scene, Although the toilets there are now pay, there are an amazing number of the best looking guys in the world hanging around the area. Hundreds of real stunners. Many seemed very plyable. If I had more time.... The Tabasco scene is simply very dangerous. When the bartender watches while two guys hold you and take the money from your wallet it's just not safe. Even taking precautions not to have much cash on you any of the trade there would be very dangerous to take home. It's almost all Romanian Romas (gypsies) and some north-African arabs. The scene is not to trick, the scene is to rob. I saw 1 decent-looking German one night at Blue Boy Bar and 1 not very good looking one at Tabasco. I didn't see a single Roma or arab in any of the other bars or on the streets. While in Budapest in 2013, I met hot David from http://www.rentmen.com/David_Sweet. He's literally "sweet" in all departments: sweet personality, body/skin, cock, and his personality was such that I truly enjoyed his company. Didn't go in Tabasco this time but checked several other places and met 2 hot Germans. Everyone's opinion of Tabasco seems to mesh with mine---place packed with Romanians, gypsys, and Arab pickpockets only interested in stealing, not tricking. When you've become too rough for hustlers to patronize you've hit bottom. There were maybe 40 hustlers in the small park next to Tabasco- no Germans. I returned to Blue Boy a block away and which is a slight improvement from Tabasco- more clients there and a German or two. I met a blond German and we went to the sex-hotel which has a sign saying it's a Hostel half-way between Tabasco and Blue Boy above the BoyToy rent bar. Room is $25 for 1-hour. The rate was 70 euro for full versatile sex and the guy was fine physically, if no Einstein. Next I went to Tramps Bar which is directly behind Tabasco and again met a very attractive blond German. Back to the "Hostel" and the rate again was 70 euro but he didn't bottom. Afterward we had a beer in the ToyBoy bar which is directly under the hostel. The guys available there were largely Romanian but the bar was much safer. I probably felt the best in Tramps Bar but it has a much smaller clientile, probably owing to discouraging Romanian thugs from hanging out. Blond Bar, next to ToyBoy, is very nice but I don't know if much rent frequents. I checked out several of the many gay bars close by but none had any rent. There are over 1000 listings for escorts in Berlin and both the ones I met are on PlantetRomeo. I had to go to the Zoo Bahnhof to get back to the airport and it used to be hustler-central in Berlin. There are still several clients cruising there but I didn't notice any obvious rent. I couldn't help but notice the thousands of stunning guys in the plaza next to it. Like a Hollywood casting call. Too bad that you were not able to meet David Sweet, but apparently you had a wonderful, wonderful time in spite of his being unavailable. He was supposed to have come to NYC last year but apparently did not! I hope he's still in the business whenever I manage to return to this part of Europe. I'd like to spend more time with him!
