For example, coming back to Toronto I would complete LRD exit procedure PLUS the ArriveCAN app, (the latter I already know definitely required) ? … but not all countries one visits requires that same kind of formal exit procedure AFAIK. They made such a big deal when it was time to leave SDQ, but no one ever scanned the code when we left sdq. They just glanced at the phone and never scanned after that. Actually, you won't get past the 1st security check point in SDQ. it's a simple process though, but its best to do it before you leave the hotel or airbnb because the internet is probably stronger there.
