I saw a group of men sit last night in a bar and jack off the guys for at least 30 min and give then 100 baht. I think this is horrendous. I am not really sure why someone does this in public in the first place. Personally, I don't enjoy watching other Farangs jack off or blow the guys. It is not what I pay 100 plus baht price for a drink to see. I much prefer a quieter bar where the guys get on stage and don't show all. There has been a great deal of controversy on the boards about the new nude shows at several bars in Pattaya. It is not my thing and I don't go to watch them. When Crazy Pub was doing their shows a few years ago, it was not something I did often either. In Bangkok, I have never really enjoyed the sex shows. I do like a good Cabaret show but that is just me. I know many love the shows and love the sex shows in Bangkok. I don't know of many places where you watch someone get fu@@ed on a swing. I can handle the show with the Thai guys but once the Farangs get involved in the spectacle, it is really a turn off. Is there a way to get a refund for the drink? Perhaps the guys didn't mind someone jerking them off in public. But only 100 baht? Is that a way to get a short time without paying the short time off fee or the regular tip? I have not seen the "farang" participation you're talking about, but it's also been more than a month since I was even in a bar at all. I'm glad I didn't see that and I think it is in extremely poor taste for "farang" to be doing anything other than watching the shows. In this instance it was after midnight and the danseurs were not being offed (the club was empty) and, in desperation, the guys were lined up begging for a 100 Baht tip in exchange for their favors. Amongst myself and a few friends we were able to provide a tip, small as it were, to all of the danseurs. For us it was viewed as an act of charite'. Yes, "tres gauche" I do admit that. Well, no one needs my forgiveness for ANYTHING. I hope I was not seeming holier than thou. It was not my intent. I know I may often come across that way but I really do believe that what someone does is their own business. When it is done in public is another story. After midnight is one thing. How about 9PM? I really do not mean to seem sanctimonious. I often voice my thoughts on here and I know they are not popular. I think if a bar allows the Farangs to do this, that is up to the bar. Besides, NB has no dancing (unless you call one boy standing in his underpants doing precious little 'dancing'). In the flesh market it up to the punter and if the boys don't like the tip then next time they ignore the punter. I guess that many punters give more if the boy is younger rather than older to assuage the guilt. Maybe the older and/or the fatter you are u give more so that u get the boys attention next time. You are free as I am to express my opinion but I don't expect you to be looking or coimmenting on the tip I decide to give a boy whether it is 20 Baht or 5000 Baht. Many people write posts talking about how awful it is that "farang" come to Thailand to exploit the bar boys. When someone literally uses a boy and then gives him a pittance for his services, I think that's the height of exploitation and it is something this web site stands against. There are several bars in Pattaya and Bangkok where molesting and jerking off boys and or customers happens. In one Sunee Plaza bar a go-go boy offered to jack off for 200 baht and a friend of mine said jokingly "how about 100 baht?" and the boy said "OK" and started but was stopped. I hear that it is amazing how many 100 bahts some of these 'boys' can manage in an evening. I have never actually seen blow jobs going on other than onstage but I hear it happens. I remember once many years ago I was forced to go to Crazy Pub and naked boys came onstage to sit on chairs and jack off. I do agree with GT that 100Baht for a "second hand" job is a cheap tip although many might call it " un bon marche' " - a good deal.
