  1. what's your point ?
  2. Falsificarea acestor bilete se pedepseste conform legilor
  3. +1, no +27
  4. Lots of good comments above. Advantage of travelling together is indeed avoiding boredom and loneliness is somebody is bothered by that. Another bonus is monetary as it allows for savings on accommodation , taxis, often other things too lime family sized meals. Disadvantage is usually need to accommodate others, particularly hard if one is determined to do / see something and others not only are not interested but actively protesting. Travelling in group generates a lot a lot of time waste, toilet breaks , strange meal orders when everybody is finished and one person is still waiting for her fish baked in oranges. I have life time friends I would never for for vacation together with other that fully organized trip. Also have people I don't keep much of social life with but gladly go for any trip with them. To alleviate that problems in university years our pack devised smart rule - we travel together but everybody it's on own vacation. That means no fuss if somebody decides to go own way for hour , half day or whole week. I can't envision how one could feel bored in city like Bangkok but since some people are I guess t's possible. OP mentioned being bored with the same room. Old vinapu long ago devised cure for that i.e. hotel jumping every 2-3 nights, sometimes even changing rooms in the same hotel. This way we change not only room but also scenery around hotel . One of our members make a point on every trip to stay few nights in different , sometimes far away areas of Bangkok just to get a feel of the city. Often difference in prices more than offsets additional cost of transportation to the core. Like Jason1975 I found that befriending and meeting members eliminates loneliness, allows for company and even some savings on taxi to Jey Spa together . In bars bonus is that we can pretend we are boyfriends to keep pushy mamasans and boys at bay. Nobody believes but everybody gets' stay away message. For shy types it creates additional shield in bars. Almost always there's somebody visiting or soon arriving willing to meet. On another hand no offence if somebody declines - see 'everybody on own vacation' rule. People may want to remain anonymous or just left alone for many reasons.
  5. I'd say until expressways and other infrastructure is improved they should put rather brake on expanding both port and airport facilities. On another hand it's amazing how fast word forgot that only 2 years ago everything was shut down and people everywhere touristy were longing to old good days of congestion , full shops , restaurants , go-go bars and crowded airports , buses and trains
  6. you so sharp eyed ! as for Ammirati, I suspect he wished at that moment his baguette was just a straw
  7. in my working life I saw plenty of those type of actions. As result I'm firm believer that from , say age of 40, The Will should be mandatory for everybody without either spouse , children or both on pain of everything being garnished by the state upon death. Surprisingly often estate feuds are not about money but who is supposed to be in charge From all I know will scratched on Foodland napkin as long as it's properly signed, dated and witnessed would be valid.
  8. very sensible considering hazards. I can't imagine myself lining out voluntarily to get to the bar, club , sauna , sex shop , you name it. Emergency ward in hospital may be only exception . Once , in passing, I saw substantial line to get to Sauna Mania in soi Phipat and thought it's strange
  9. 100% correct. I don't dilute an alcohol with water, ice or anything, after gulp may chase it with sip of water juice or usually tea just to get rid of aftertaste.
  10. here most likely you are right but with 200+ jurisdictions in the world I would be tempted to check statutes to come into any final conclusion. Even if underscored is sure thing, what portion of inheritance surviving spouse is entitled to may greatly vary depending of jurisdiction. I learned it first hand when my mother, who lived in different country , died . It turned out that inheritance laws there and where I live are substantially different. We did not have any issues with that but learned about those differences nevertheless. (her part of family home here would automatically go to surviving spouse, over there ownership of her part was to be divided between surviving spouse and children in even parts).
  11. I like this part. one can drink at own pace unrushed by waiters asking ' one more sir?"
  12. and so were Caracalla Baths in Rome in imperial times. Both gone now so it's better to look for new opportunities like Sauna Mania in soi Phipat
  13. +1 I second it , best moment of 2024 Olympic for me too. Kind of underdogs as none qualified to final in either sprint distance but as a team proved to be the best. And post win they turned out to be super friendly and level headed , liked Andre DeGrass from last leg who said humbly ' they did the job , I just run fast"
  14. yes, Yulo, sigh !
  15. you dirty mind , you ! But can't agree with you more. as for sport itself, I don't like it much since I don't like sports where score depends on judges like diving or gymnastics. But who is asking me ?
  16. You have such sharp and no doubt trained eye. It really is puzzling as it possibly either was overlooked above or Thai statutes say if there's surviving spouse and no will , spouse gets everything. Just my guess. I'm surprised by distinction of full and half blood siblings but it is what it is, ingrained cultural norms perhps ? Bottom line of all this type of discussions is make sure that you have a will unless you don't care at all about what happens with your possessions after you die. I know few of such people and feel already sorry for what their beneficiaries are up to when time comes.
  17. almost all of them competitors were. I think it comes from nature of their sport as built may , knowingly or unknowingly, affect their score . I can imagine ugly like sin athlete winning hammer throw , marathon or even table tennis but diving? I don't think so
  18. don't off him then
  19. It's 45 years since Khmer Rouge were removed from power and 24 since their influence vanished even in far away pockets of country so I wouldn't use that as excuse. Your second point may be more the case when ruling case focuses on their own well being than rest of society , new Siem Reap airport serves as handy example. To be fair , years of Hun Sen rule brought stability and resulting rise in prosperity in Cambodia but certainly it could be better done. Main disadvantage of strongman rules is there's nobody to tell them right when they start going astray as people around them are afraid to lose their freedom or , often ill gained, personal prosperity
  20. yes , as much as tons of fun can be had in soi 2 and soi 4 , in case of fire or other accident both are death traps with only one exit. No to dampen anybody's fun but never hurts to have exit somewhere in the back of our heads in any crowded place. Many Thai bars and clubs are in old buildings which don't emanate much of confidence . We can easily see how fast former location of Tawan or BBB Inn are rotting when unoccupied
  21. that is also case of hotels with convoluted corridors which can be easily solved by charging at time of delivery to the table like some bars do
  22. somebody realize that steam must have it's vent. This is a point Mrs. Hassina in Bangladesh seem to overlook to her peril
  23. they may not know what anvil is. I tried to imagine that coyote dropping anvil from balloon and laughed and laughed
  24. try Oscar massage ( not sure of name though) in Silom soi 8 , that's short soi connecting Nantra Silom hotel with Silom road. There are always few ladyboys sitting in mouth of soi soliciting massage services
  25. it's right and it's why I'm worried as at one point steam must be let go
