Israel And The Palestinians: A Nightmare In Desperate Search Of A Solution
vinapu replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
nothing will ever start peace or healing process until last settler and settlement will be removed from West Bank. Blending two nations , each having own scores to settle , using barbed wires will never work, specially not in such cramped, resource poor, place. -

why you are so defensive ? Not liking America doesn't prevent you from liking Americans, the same with Russia/ Russians, Israel / Israelis, you name it. -
if Americans themselves don't , why task Thais with that ?

Unfortunately West, out of hatred of communism, was not any better. Vietnamese chased Red Khmers in 1979 but Khmer Rouge regime, so called Democratic Kampuchea kept her UN seat well into 80ties even if their atrocities in the country were well known and documented. At least we financed UN peace mission and rebuilding of the country in n90-ties as partial redemption for such shameful conduct. so we have very small tittle to condemn Thailand's overtures to Russia. Unfortunately. It's called politics, nasty thing when comes to morality

I cannot make any more reactions today - two days running.

Most likely you are right. I believe we are allowed 20 emoji clicks per day only. Whether it's per calendar day or 24 hours , I have no idea. Running out of 'likes' It happens to me quite often -
yes, tell somebody over 40 he is old anywhere and soon you will learn how your grandmother behaved when she was in the primary school

there's something in it. Actually a lot that comment brought me memories of long distance travel by buses in China in mid-80-ties. Cost of ticket included overnighting in some cavernous halls on the road , there was some bedding on the floor but basically whole busload of people was sleeping, at least some nights, in one big space. If was obvious that other passengers thought nothing about screaming to their friends across the hall in deep middle of the night and when we tried to gesture to keep quiet , plainly they did not understand what fuss is all about. The same in sleeping coaches on the train. Then we took it as part and parcel of exotic travel (it was shortly after big chunks of China was opened to independent foreign travel ) but it was immensely annoying so no wonder Bangkok Guy is ballistic. Tell him he has full support from old vinapu. To be fair I must add that during quite a few long flights I took with various Chinese airlines there were no middle of the night noise problems.

Mine are gone dozen years already but barely day goes without me thinking about them. It was good 5 years after my father died when I still caught myself thinking one day : ' I did not call home for a while"

Cambodia’s newest and biggest airport opens in Siem Reap
vinapu replied to reader's topic in Gay Cambodia
I got confirmation that 35$ fare from new Siem Reap airport to the city was for a car. Still screaming murder. Apparently there are some ads quoiting 12.5 $=50000 riles for shared taxi ride. this is much more reasonable although still plenty for Cambodia. Hopefully sooner or later it will be regular bus although who knows ? -
I don't blame you. I never really liked Tsingtao ( where I live we can buy it , no need to fly to Shanghai) and now I know why

you hit the nail !!!

Israel And The Palestinians: A Nightmare In Desperate Search Of A Solution
vinapu replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
Cynically speaking and looking back at recent history you are correct but only for losing side. Winning side will describe it as collateral damage or something equally ear pleasing and will get away with it Israelis are in double unenviable position as in case of mass civilian casualties they risk losing legitimacy , at least in Western world, coming from Jewish people being victims of Holocaust. -
hope you did not finish up drinking just water for an occasion

You got me worried, shortage of tips may be result of Chinese being biggest part of an audience, taking over from more generous farangs. But surely , with lack of tips more progressive parts of the show may be thing of the past. that chicken dish tip seems to be in vogue there recently but to their credits last few times they asked for tip to buy that , few minutes later I actually saw them eating it so at least my money (and hopefully yours ) seems to be spent as intended. One of many nice things about Tawan is that they have good rotation and as you noticed , some guys are coming only on some days. As for massage there , perhaps you came too early as guy who was / is doing that has day time job somewhere in Huyai Kwang which is also sadly reason he is not interested in long time. Happy to hear you have good time there, waiting impatiently for next day's report

Great advice by the friend , Israelis knowing well what situation is may follow on that but will Netanyahu and settlers listen ? -
Israel And The Palestinians: A Nightmare In Desperate Search Of A Solution
vinapu replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
Peter , nobody says or even thinks it's right. But there are only two options for Israel - eradicate Hamas from Gaza which will end in tragedy for all or leaving things as they are now and trying to take Hamas leadership out , one by one. -

No and it never did, including Palestinians Arab brothers. That is source of their neverending tragedy. Like all desperate poeple thay are turning into terror because they feel they run out of options. -
you mean Preparation H thing ?

I saw it before. Makes sense, why lose precious commodity nobody is paying for? Glad to hear Tawan is doing well although due to size large crowd there is easy to achieve.
