no, world renowned Foodland Patpong is safe bet when comes to bringing in company and on multiple occasion it's what boys asked if they want to eat something suggested. At any time of day or night there's chance we spot either familar or handsome or both, face dining there alone or most often , with company. Also it pays to pay attention to passersby's as it may be chance to see somebody we know. (As we know from last trip - not necessarily blessing though ). While your idea is catchy , execution would be somewhat rude so better no to do it. Boy sitting with his farang is his companion and his only the same way like boy sitting with us is our companion and our only. It would be very bad form to try to pry attractive or familiar boy from his current sitter with. And I would not tolerate if somebody would approach boy I'm sitting with and try to arrange for anything else than handshake. But opportunity is still present if handled decently, been there , done that. One can simply try to outwait them as often after the meal parties are parting way, then it's free game , just one needs to be brave and fast. On few occasions thoughtful farang seeing that his boy sees somebody familiar can even prod him to go and say hallo to him. Happened to me in both capacities i.e. guy came to me to say hallo obviously with blessing from his farang and also I , seeing boy exchanging smiles with somebody, suggested he will go and say hallo if he wants. The same may happen in bars. We buy a drink for the boy and suddenly somebody is inviting him for a drink. If boy asks for permission , I usually agree for say 10-15 minutes break. If he leaves me on his own, his drink still half full, that's the surest way to be removed from my offing roster fort at least few trips. Certain P and A , on different occasions learned it to their peril because on next attempt to extract an off from me I in no uncertain terms told them it won't happen and why.

you are looking in the mirror ?

no doubt peaceful Buddhist principles are compromised tragically here. This type of cases in Thailand are way too common sadly, not long ago we heard about similar in Khlong Toey

Expats seek income tax clarification from the prime minister
vinapu replied to a topic in The Beer Bar
Is some cases it may, as most treaties state as second among conditions for centre of vital interests " where person has permanent abode available " , right after where their family lives . "Permanent abode " in this context may mean rental accommodation if place is rented on long time lease. In cases where establishing residency is difficult, there's provision in treaties that competent authorities of both countries may decide it between themselves. It's not consolation to stressed out expats but Thailand move is in line with what exists in many other countries where residents are taxed on worldwide income and foreign tax credit or income exemption is granted in case income was already taxed. As you said , tax treaties , if any , need to be carefully examined because they are minefield. I'm privy to case where I live , where foreign pension received was taxed in source country . Foreign tax was claimed as usually is but it was denied. Why ? Because tax treaty clearly says that pension received by resident of either contracting country must be taxed only in country of residence so in effect source country was withdrawing tax in contradiction to treaty provisions. -
It's usually a case in hotels of every level, if one books room for two and deal comes with breakfast , breakfast is also for two. On my recent trip bkkmfj and me stay in Raya but his deal was breakfasty and mine not so one morning he invited me to utilize his 2nd breakfast offer. I second comment about need to be careful when inviting boys for meal or trip and look for signs they may feel uncomfortable. Some of us may not like those stares by other guests either, although when I notice those I audaciously blink my eye toward these nosy guests and it does the trick , at times even generating smile, no doubt out of satisfaction that their suspitions proved right, lol

I checked agoda last night and no, not yet offered there

don't worry and treat yourself. Every second of my 30+ Thai trips were "I can't afford it" type and somehow I managed to fund them and scores of boys in process.

I'm one who don't like it and find it embarrassing. It's why I rarely stay in Tarntawan where once I got a visit from two forum member in daytime , just for gossip and coffee. One Philippine, another Oriental looking American. Both were asked for their ID which we found funny. I understand security concerns by some but whoring is for adventurous , not for chickens.

I guess we need to go on with the program and enjoy what we have. Fortunately even jeans may do as I find boys in then sexy as long as jeans are not too loose. Certainly for me new dress code is not an obstacle and is not preventing me from bar visits being secured in knowledge that eventually at least one jeans/ boxer briefs or even bikini briefs will be removed that night. Still completely dressed boys at BBB Boyztown are aberration but who knows , may be this is what their customers want to see on the stage ?

what was once golden standard now we need to count on luck to see boys in white briefs

rest assured, it won't happen

and so are countries of Uruguay and Paraguay and I never saw them being described as The Uruguay or The Paraguay. Perhpas English used ' the ' in respect of countries of English speaking domain ? one thing is sure, English if language full of exceptions , perhaps more than rules

taxi drivers will love it as it's quite a walk from Patpong

idea behind my possible clumsy comment was that I doubt how really straight are those boys who claim to be ones and still happily go with us , often sporting hardons from moment doors are closed.
-
still I'd say, go for 26 instead just to be safe and sure

off topic but honest question to English-as-first -language speakers. I noticed we say The Gambia and The Sudan but never say, The Ghana or The Tanzania to stay with former British possessions. Any idea as to why is that? Just curious

definitely you are right but from time to time I like to check how other half has it and in name of fighting discrimination I go with twink, specially if cute one and even more specially if he is still from Tawan. That guy , if it's the same we are talking about here, when I offed him in January was definitely worth his tip, very affectionate and sweet
