  1. This was comment I wanted to make reading Unicorn post above, which by the way proves how complex we managed to make simple task of talking to other people, invented in times when people were living with dinosauruses.
  2. Russia - India 1:0 Following night situation repeated. Russians gone, their room taken by Indian looking people. They, for change did not say anything when we arrived , boy being the same, but next morning they look at me the same one looks at dog's poo after stepping on it by accident with bare foot. I thought " you guys are on vacations in wrong place" .
  3. Every month with letter "a" in it
  4. You such a gentleman and a scholar to boost !
  5. My guess would be Myanmar guys came from Myanmar.
  6. Certainly Peter you are not nature's lover. Enjoy what comes your way and marvel at God's magnificent creatures ,be it crows, cobras or even gay moneyboys
  7. Ineptitude ?
  8. Other than on vacations I generally don't use smartphone as means of communication. Don't take it with me when doing errands or visiting somebody. Everybody knows that if thay call me on smartphone number I may or may not respond or call back. The same with texting. Reason for all.thar is not backwardness ot technophobia but practical - nowadays there's so many meansof communicating that people are overdoing it and big time at that. I like email and that it surest thing of communicating with me, I check it often and when need arises respond promptly. I prefere it to phone calls as it's much less invasive and can be dealt with when I feel like . All said , when I go for the trip everything changes and smartphone becomes main mean of communication, emails are checked once a day if that often and surest thing to get verbal abuse is to actually call me disturbing my time of relaxing any digital detoxing.

    These guys

That's the reason that bar fell of my screen completely. Fully dressed boys on the stage and 1050 off fee makes this believer in free markets feeling that's simply not for me.
  10. I don't really recall what it was but you could right. But he was really in danger and it's miracle that he recovered I was told by people I the know.
  11. This time I'm travelling with somebody who is not a gay and not a guy so my need for discretion is extremely high and on top of it, in respect of itineary we agreed I will follow her whims and whims they are. One of best trips ever although laced with extraordinary number of transportation fuck ups, feels like spy novel. Try to sneak super hunk to your room when your girl is in the same hotel. Good news is I suspect she has her fun and I'm last person to wonder what it may be. Good thing about traveling low season is that accommodation can be had on very short notice so it's very whim friendly.
  12. No, not all taxis. I meant taxis hailed on street I depth of the night and asked to go to the airport. In opposite direction I took taxi only twice and don't recall any problems, the same with taxi stopped on the street. Perhaps one in 12 refuse or tries not to use meter which really is minor problem considering abundance of those. Of course I'm not talking about those taxis waiting at curb past midnight at Silom and Patpong.
  13. They must be really desperate !
  14. If it's any consolation, I heard it too. But after switching my shower day from Monday to Friday I never heard it again. On subject of body odor - my worst "memorable" experience was few years, ago on 13 hrs Bangkok Vancouver flight with farang gentleman sitting beside me clearly forgot to take his weekly shower few weeks in row before flight. As for Indian smells, after working many years with several of them, my theory is that is not from lack of hygiene or using cheap colognes. No, it's spices they are (over) using most of us are not used to. Which supports Patnawet's theory above, not cheese but curry in this case. For Russians in Pattaya recent and uplifting story. As it happened last night, past midnight due to conspiracy reasons, fine specimen of male form was seen entering my room. When closing door heard comment from husband to wife, both sitting outside of their rooms" yemu podvyezlo " which means : " he got good catch". Always gentleman I turned my head and said "spasiba" ( thank you). To be honest I thought it was sarcastic but when returning from breafast, my guy gone hours ago, they smiled kind of aprovingly.
  15. So is moving in the right direction. Soon one will see banners " make love not war"
  16. Vessel I'm not as nostalgic as you when comes to Sunee but haste to confirm.that your recollection matches mine and it was exactly as you painted it.
  17. Considering I'm stuck in Phnom Penh airport whole day because of flight cancelation I'm not sure what fun you have I mind,he ,he
  18. No, it shows that Russia is on gay rights where those countries were 3 generations ago. Hope is you guys grow up and catch with them.
  19. If for some reason you try to change subject it's fine but I fail to see what Minneapolis has to do with treatment of gays in your country. Either Russian state is indifferent to gays or is trying to supress attempts to politicize LGBT which means cares and dies it deeply. If you indifferent to your daughter choices you won't care to prevent her marrying somebody you don't like or buying car she can't afford. I'm pretty sure if gays in Russia turned nationalistic and shauvinistic government would be very happy to let them to politicize their movement. If Americans like to let their children to get shoot in the school , it's their nation abomination and problem to solve. Perhaps it how they like to tackle problem of world's overpopulation. At least they are not trying to hide it which may not be case with some more obsessed with image and secretive countries like your own.
  20. Somebody allowed to so things are under better control. If spoils can be shared with somebody higher up by the way of tea money of whatever we call it, even better. Efforts to portrait Russia as gay paradise are of the same coin like USSR was painting itself as workers paradise, not entirely false but quite far from truth.
  21. Best things are that they survived quite an upheaval and seem to be doing relatively well. Second good thing is that with Atlas we have real choice when comes to bars with hunks and so do boys if for some reason thay don't like bar they are in. Wild action in bar is one thing but being pestered for tips and offs is another and from different shelf. As for superstar status it needs to be said that M in his best days was always humble and approachable. When I finally braved to off him I was surprised how easygoing he is.
  22. Counting on existence if customers who like mystery and discovery ?
  23. Thanks for great update. It seems that thay never learn that being too pushy actually pushes customers away. I used to have whole vacations on Tawan monodiet , now it seems I lived long enough to make efforts of not even come close by. But your report makes me thinking I should give them one more chance. Sadly Atlas absorbed some of their stuff and they brought with them those old habits. I never though I will be in situation that Jupiter will be my bar of choice as is quite free of this kind of pressures. Glad that M is doing well after that horrible accident but is he offing material good enough now ?Hope yes but at times when I see soi twilight veterans still on the stage here and there I feel that invention of retirement should reach go go scene as well
  24. I even know people who are saying that thay would go to girl bar instead
