I'd gladly fly even 737 MAX to BKK with 4 or 5 refueling stops on the way -

as we are grounded along with 737MAX , now it's good time to try to scare us from flying, LOL -
and probably you saved a lot. Few years ago I had some dental job to do and I saved about half of my flight cost on difference between my local price and what I paid in BKK. Other countries with good dental value are Hungary and Poland

only question is where it will be flying with most flights grounded and airports half mothballed -
my problem with " first past the post " is that large part of population may be left without representation. To extreme , in country withy say , 500 constituencies theoretically one party needs only 500 more votes nationwide than all others to have all deputies in parliament. Other is that practically only one constituency is electing prime minister. Party may have absolute majority and lose on only handful of constituencies , one of them is where it's choice for PM was starting and lost. Bottom line is either system has good and bad sides

problem is that due to weight of American presidency in the world affairs nobody is really outsider

and it's only for Americans to repair it. Nobody will invade her or put on embargo to make USA in desired shape so unfortunately country can't taste medicine it's prescribing to others

Possible, after all there's saying ' never waste a good crisis ". I know what I'm talking about as years ago I bought my condo at tail end of recession. Seller was happy that he received ANY offer -

When will Thailand open to Tourists- question/speculation?

their priority is not to let virus into country and nothing wrong with that. Place where they are lost is how to stick to that priority and keep economy humming along before idle masses will get desperate. -

I'm shocked.(kidding ) I wouldn't either. Maintaining visa free or at least easy to obtain regimes is key to tourism and this is known from at least 60-ties -
watching some of BL series I noticed scenes of guy or guys riding motorsai without helmet and wondered what kind of signal it sends to young viewers. That is cool ? On another hand I recall scene from Dark Blue Kiss of guy giving a lift to a girl , handling her helmet and saying 'my girl safety in my first priority". Looked naturally and yet piece of useful propaganda. Em in "I'm your king SS2 " has very impressive helmet and has spare one for his guests. If they can sneak products placement in the plots , why not use same approach for road safety ?. I'm sure helmet manufacturers would chip in. Other scenes which may help is one guy helping other one with seat belt and in the process lips are getting closer and closer . Hot and still carrying subtly safety message

what should count it's not number of covid deaths but excess deaths over yearly average. Countries are using different methodology of classifying deaths covid related. Some are under reporting to calm population and for propaganda reasons , other are over reporting because of financial incentives ( treating covid patients may be more lucrative ). It looks that virus calmed many things down along with economies, no mass shooting in USA I guess is one of benefits. I live by busy highway and and one thing seems certainly greatly reduced- sound of ambulances and traffic jams related to accidents, at least on my stretch.

I finished both seasons of "I'm your king", like with "Moons' and "Moons2" completely different plot and set of actors so treat it as two different series with similar tittle. Somebody recommended it above but I did not like it much. Action all over and long periods of "nothing happens at the moment" But I liked character of Em and found bed scene in Episode 5 of second season both romantic and hot.

While I agree with Michael, Firecat and all others that Thai government did very good job containing virus along with few governments in a region I wonder to what degree that success is result of organizational skills and discipline of population and what part of that containment is result of pure luck i.e. population being earlier exposed to similar type of virus. Serious question and I'm sure that it will be answered after all that dust settles.
