report is being slowly cooked and posted , as for disappointments remember that what is acceptable for some is insufficient for others and other way arround. As far as last trip I have an issue with only one man and it was about greed , not performance. I could have with another one but he exploited skilfully soft spot in my heart I have for him.

I always ask but he is 'up to you" variety, so I paid him my usual long time rate 3000 / my appologies to those who think I'm spoiling boys / but it needs to be said some Tawan boys are staring much higher and I have two cases this trip that I finished paying more, nursing revenge in my heart. Details in report.

Day 1 After returning from trip in December, perhaps best of all my 12 trips to Thailand , it did not take long before inspired by Xiluzer and Cathay Pacific’s deep discount promotion on one frosty late January evening I booked my next one and 4 months later after long but quite bearable flight I landed for 13th time in Bangkok. It was morning arrival which I prefer to late evening ones, immigration lines weren’t long but what surprised me, this being Sunday morning, was very crowded airport train. But there is no indignity I can’t stomach to be close to Silom’s hunting grounds. For a change this time I decided to settle mainly in one hotel and acting on tip about Expedia members only early morning discount from again , Xiluzer , I secured 8 days in Raya impressed by their standards last time. But being me, I can’t stay 8 days in the same room so I split my stay between 4 nights in cheapest room and another 4 in very spacious “ executive “ or whatever they call it. Only problem with Raya is that usually they don’t let in before 2 p.m. but I dumped my suitcase in the lobby and went for a two hour stroll through vicinity including Lumpini park. Of course shortly I spotted very handsome men walking in front of me so for pure esthetic reason I just followed him and when at some point he turned his head back who he was? Sokchai, my favorite masseur from Bonny’s. I promised to visit him some day for session of mutilation. He is regular at Lumpini gym as it was not first neither last time I saw him there. I settled in the room finally , rested a bit and in the late afternoon I marched to Senso hoping I will see one of my favorites there Jack or M. Reverse bingo since neither one was there, Jack supposedly on vacations and M gone for good I was told. Only few boys there and place is no cheap but I have only good memories from Senso so I picked up new boy, Goon for no rush , usual 1.5 hr session. And it was good choice with very thorough massage which enlivened me after sitting so many hours on the plane. 1500 for the house and the same for the boy, not a cheap option but worth every penny for me. On my way back I passed by Playboy massage on Silom to find it closed for good which saddened me big time since I have good memories of their very adventurous guys . Wiping my tears and meandering through Patpong’s stalls I passed by BBB Inn to find familiar face of Tao from Banana , no longer there , though. He told me that at new location he did not have as many customers so decided to work at BBB where he was moonlighting before. Booked him for after tomorrow for a massage in the room in the middle of the night. Then I went to Oasis on Suriwong for my fix of chicken with cashew nuts, surprise , surprise. And from there to Tawan hoping all my favorites will be there. But shock, it looked as all of them took Sunday off and I found myself sitting in familiar bar but full of unfamiliar boys. It was not even very crowded and including me , only 5 farangs. Good part was that no boy paid any attention to me so I was left free to watch the show and contemplating lonely first night in BKK. Only familiar face , Soda #47, Lao boy , passed by few times not even looking at me and out of new boys , only #20, dark skinned hunk drew my attention but it was one way highway – he did not even look at me from the stage. This was not what I dreamed about my first night in Bangkok. After #20 was called over by some fossil I was sure that after the show I need to look for my luck somewhere else. But hope springs eternal. After the show fossil decided to go home alone abandoning #20 with 200 baht tip boy looked at me and smiled. Second later he was sitting beside me. In meantime Soda, #47 planted himself on another side but tonight belonged to #20, #47 was promised off next night. Shortly as midnight was drawing I made sure boy is interested in long time , we settled on tip expectancies and soon world saw us marching along Suriwong. He is half Malay, half Thai, well built but not body builder. Full lips, perky and firm buttocks, quite a catch and named Alek . Great company and fast starter – he wants to be my boyfriend, yeah, right. I told him that I will off him again in 3 days. Breakfast at Raya together, nobody blinked an eye, yet. And so day 1 was over.

yes it is , best way is to go and check for yourself. On my last trip out of 11 nights, 10 had Tawan boys as bed warmers and with some exception they did good job

was difference in exchange rates worth all this indignity of waiting and bearing with rude staff ? Sometimes we are chasing better rates going overboard, one of my friends went from Silom to some place in Sukhumvit to exchange 200 USD and only after the deed he realised that after deduction cots of getting there and back by BTS all he saved was cost of less than two cans of beer at 7/11

On Wednesday I visited Tawan for a last time and was sad to see that my favorite Lao boys were missing. When asked what is going on I was whispered to that owner is expecting police visit so foreign workers did not show up for a work. Too bad they weren't as smart as Twilight boys and did not linger near the bar because at least one of them would land my long time contract. Clearly owner either had perfect gut feeling or understanding how police works wink , wink

me and flawed method? No I did not withdraw 1000 , I withdrew 13000 which is maximum I can take out daily . self imposed limit set with bank, but I calculated how much it cost me to get 1000 in any case. You are right about withdrawing small amounts being senseless, in my case 200 baht fee to Thai bank and 135 charged by my own bank so it costs 335 in fees just to get my money

During my recent trip I decided to do some research to see what means of obtaining baht are most economical, ie. how to get 1000 baht cheapest way, cheapest means costing least in my domestic currency . Here it goes in ascending order: 1. exchanging US cash purchased at home using my domestic currency at my usual place Natty Gems on Suriwong 2.exchanging my domestic currency cash at the same location 3.surprisingly perhaps, exchanging my domestic cash at the BKK airport 4. exchanging US cash purchased at home in the BKK airport 5. withdrawing cash from ATM from account at home. 6. withdrawing cash advance from credit card using ATM 7. buying baht at home. While difference was clear, good news is , difference between obtaining baht cheapest and most expensive way was 5.76 % so not exactly ruinous if I picked up consistently least efficient way to finance my whole stay. Withdrawing money from ATM caused some anxiety as on three occasion ATM actually rejected transaction for some reason so don't count on it if you are desperate ie. you need money for a tip for boy

I just stay in Ambiance for two nights last week and no issues whatsoiever. Everything works , bed linens are clean. safe operates, noise from bars minimal, staff helpful and not nosy. Slightly more expensive than similar room I usually had in LeCafe Royale but rate included breakfast for two so no complains from me.

as always it will be not worth for some and good deal for others. It always depend of what one is looking for but certainly location is perfect, rooms are spacious and everything is new. Anyone interested keeps looking for deals on at least two-three websites, for my last trip I booked on Expedia and the same deal was not available on Agoda, I checked immediately out of curiosity

We had discussion about an issue in 'Hero closing" thread, xiluzer posted series of pictures , there was some speculation about new ownership etc but for now we have what we have. Some may be tempted to try new location as some familiar faces and muscles are there. While place doesn't look great for now and not many boys migrated there so far in reality we need only one boy, either one out of 35 or just out of 5 , one will do. I visited place already twice and must say both sessions with Charoon were better than everything I remember from old location with possible exception of two meetings with O , one back in 2013 and second one on the day of closing of old venue. So here it is how to get there: 1. take BTS to Bearing station, it took us 40 minutes from Sala Daeng 2. when there take exit 3 if you are planning on taking taxi or motorsai or exit 4 if you want to walk like I did on my second visit. Station is at soi 70 and SuperHero in soi 78 so you have 4 blocks to cover, roughly the same distance like from Nana station to old location. It took me 16 minutes. 3. While marching look for an overpass , soi 78 is just before that, there's no sign but it's pretty wide street with big motorsai stand at it's mouth. When you turn into soi you will see at it's end something like small Chinese temple. 4. Keep walking toward it, when you reach it you will see that street which looked as dead end turns sharp to the left at the temple. Raise your head , you will see sign SUPERHERO on the building at end of soi , about 100 meters from where you are. It's that easy, enjoy 5. When extension of BTS will be completed , it will be even closer from the next station 6. Let us know how you liked your experience

I second what pong just said, go and see for yourself. Recommendation can be misleading since what works for one of us not necessarily must for another one. On another hand it may be unheralded boy in the line nobody noticed before who may turn to be big turn-on for you. Pictures on the websites may not be much help either , boy may not be available or even worse, in flesh may look not as attractive as in the photo

Seducing me may not work, lol, one on Tawan boys just tried to no avail. No idea where this farang controversy is sourced, I must be sounding Indian but I'm not although I wish I was one, preferably son of those fabulously wealthy maharajas or tycoons. As far as I know , farang is term used as described by traveller above. Since I'm heading home I may be posting trip reports soon.

Contrary to some rumours Mekhin is still working, not only present in the bar but also took part in the show last night. When I was leaving at 11.30 he was still not offed so for those chasing him he is still available it seams.

Don't forget about Arena guys but I agree with Xiluzer above, Prince seems to be new king for now. By the way revisited new Hero today , report to follow but not much change to what was said already above. Good news is , there was another customer beside me, 8 boys on the site but only three I remember from previous visit few days ago so may be employee base is expanding, For now only what we can do I wait and see but first and foremost to patronize to give them a chance. And I hast to ads, I seem to enjoy massage on both counts at the new place, tad more than at the old one, and boys really showered me before and after.

I just read what Nasherih said above and I agree. As for shower area in the glass this is odd but try to tell it to somebody sitting in the room and watching boy taking shower. Blinds in the shower are for a reason and can be easily drawn - watching Even most adorable boy taking a dump is not sexy at all. This trip I changed rooms and have both on the same floor but on different sides, there's what can be called city view , roofs and high-rises but there's view , not a wall. No noise from soil Twilight nor Suriwong seeping in. Breakfast is served 6.30-10.30 depending on personal view choice is limited or adequate. This is not big hotel with their lavish buffets and setting such would not be economical but definitely there are choices and even some daily changes. Wi-fi is excellent, rooms are big but for me it's just location which makes it great, to soil Twilight it's just 20 steps, Jupiter is literally across the street, all modes of transport are at door step and if you catch one of Agoda's or Expedia promotions you may have it all for less than 2000. standard room without breakfast , prepaid but non- refundable can be caught for 1400. To put it in perspective, BBB Inn charges 1320 with tired rooms and no breakfast but with massage boys returned.

When we went it was 7 boys only, they need some time to get a steam I guess. It's in Sukumvit soi 78, walk is involved , about 6 blocks from Bearing station, it's actually qute easy to find, new name is SuperHero

Typing this message at Raya, as far as I'm concerned Raya is an excellent choice, it may be complains about water not being wet enough but this will not be coming from me, will elaborate at length tomorrow after church perhaps

Just short note since I 'm pressed for a time at the moment, yesterday pack of us 5, humble myself included, visited Hero at their new location and had massages already there. Report will be posted soon, but how soon, God only knows.
