    Gay forums

I read all three forums and Christian blog daily time permitting but have a time to contribute only here, we are least moderated and best behaved of all three.
  2. With one of most magnificent cluster of ruins in the whole world it's just a blasphemy / my underline /. If one is templed-out , Tonle Sap lake and it's floating villages are nice respite. I recommend trip up to Kulen mountain / take swimsuit to use at waterfall/ as well as carved riverbed of Kbal Spien with 'pink' temple of Banteai Srei mnetion ed by divine Madman and landmine museum on the way. As for temples I recommend less known , as impressive as main ones but much less crowded since most package tourists are crowding at Bayon , Angkor Wat, Preah Khan and Ta Prohm leaving others for more adventuros types.
  3. I'm glad you realized that spending money that way would be spending money on yourself rather than boy. He may have better use of money than flying or taking sleeper train. So yes, if you like him , rather give him money.
  4. thanks for a good laugh / my underline / As for a thread subject itself I can only recall my immediate impression when I came to Pattaya for a first time. Only preconceived notion I had was that it will be hooker at every turn which did not materialize but I was surprised my number of sad faced farangs wandering the streets. It is recorded in my trip report from Nov 2013 so I'm not making it up. So I guess some of them may feel lonely , free of burden to friends and too much money and surrounded by the culture they did not fully grasp .

    I dont always Tip

It seems tipping will be always contentious issue. I live in a tipping culture but still almost always when I have a meal with friends in restaurant, discussion about how much to tip is guaranteed. But one thing seems to be certain - if you want to tip somebody , make sure you give money to that person. If you just leave on the table or put in the tip box , chances are somebody else will get it. Few days ago I bought take out meal in a bar nearby and threw a change in a tip box. Lady behind the cash told me / we speak the same language so she could be brave to say it loudly / "don't bother because our owner will take it for himself anyways"
  7. still there are exceptions. In June one of my boys offed few times previously all of the sudden in the morning came with request of 1000 more of what he was receiving from me before, I suspect inspired by his friend from the bar who did the same. Knives are sharpened for revenge already, LOL
  8. I'm somewhat surprised so far with poll. Over years judging by responses in various threads I thought people like me sealing deal up front are minority but it seems not so.
  9. rest comfortably assured you are not alone with boycott on this forum. My parents used to take vacations to watch on TV games in Tokyo, Mexico , Munich and Montreal, now 40 years later my total time spent watching games so far is ZERO, reason exactly one you specified so eloquently. Fuck IOC !
  10. money went to pay for 2000$ a night suites for IOC officials I guess. Whole Olympic business is rotten to the core IMHO and sooner or later they need to start whole idea from scratch before public will lose all interest in the games. We already had few cities voting to abandon Olympic bids / Munich , Stockholm , Krakow /.
  11. you will not miss him so likely he was absent when you were there. Not sure he will be your type as he is not exactly skinny twink
  12. I'm the same but for a different reason, I don't like awkward situations on parting ways and I assume , perhaps wrongly, that boys are like me and are trying harder knowing how much they will get. Often when offing boy offed previously I will give them money in the room up front, no they never so far took an advantage of situation and skipped on service or time.
  13. so most likely like my father used to say 'died and it's still not alive'
  14. Christian 's blog is a golden mine of tourist attractions in Thailand and he has knack of finding unknown gems. It just his favorite boys who are too skinny
  15. interrupted by soap massage mid-day at Blue House?
  16. most airlines on disembarking actually announce ' if you require an assistance please wait until somebody will assist you" or something like that. If we don't require usually we don't even pay an attention to this. Since I like flying at end of aricraft I'm one of those leaving last and usually I see those infirm and with small children still seating , waiting for wheelchair attendants gathered near the door outside of aircraft. Always hope I will be never in position of those waiting for such an assistance

    I dont always Tip

I agree with you, In my opinion best service is invisible one but it seems North Americans like their waiters asking them those irrelevant questions as pert of decorum. It's the same with ' how are you ? ' question , nobody is really interested in other answer than ' fine'. But simply it is different culture and visitors should pretend they like it like everywhere else

    I dont always Tip

that's fine but if you don't make sure you don't revisit place until they forget you, one never wants to upset people serving him food

    The Massage Shops

at least for first 1/2 hr I wait for his moves, if nothing promising happens I'd tough whatever part of his body is not covered and will go from there, pretending I want to stop his massaging hands seems to be working well
  20. Whatever your reason is I don't think anybody would dispute. What Firecat and me were suggesting is not to let bad experience to nullify good one you had there but of course as better informed you made your decision
  21. there' nothing to dispute, we simply like butter on opposite sides of bread slice. I, for one, quite often to go one bar to watch the show and to another one just to pick up THE BOY ot pick up the boy and drag him to another bar to see the show / only if he agrees and I have ones who did not/

    I dont always Tip

wise words indeed although I'd still reduce tip a bit if not happy so message is sent across .
  23. While my experience reflects yours , for my personal use I still think it is not Jupiter but Jupiter boys who screwed my experience so I still patronize the place but yes, thought of another off is not crossing my mind although is easing off a bit recently. I'd be crossing off place only if I was treated there violently or ridiculed publicly, otherwise I don't believe in summary executions. But of course since we have so many choices available person may choose to cross place of the list completely for any reason but is usually better to look at full half of glass not an empty one.

    The Massage Shops

I think most of us do and when we think about returning to Thailand we really think about returning to ABomb to see if boy X is still there and having massage at Bonny's hoping Y will be available on day of our arrival
  25. if O, formerly from HERO is there, I can recommend him since he was my best experience at Hero ever I wonder what went wrong / massage , attitude , hygiene, sex, attempt to steal, boy on the phone most of time, loud stinky fart ? / 1000 is more than Arena's minimum so surely you shouldn't tip that if session was terminated early. Your experience confirms that not a place is important but boy himself and one can have fabulous experience in dirty place full of lazy , greedy and unskilled boys and have disaster in shiny venue full of smiling , grade A , recommended by all ones. It goes with both massages and bars. As for returning, since you had best and worst there, why to let worst experience to color black whole picture. I can relate your story to myself and Dreamboys soi Twilight, exactly the same , best and worst within few days but still returned next night after disaster and few times since without regret. But of course , since you were there , you know better.
