we do, although I don't think people indulging in luxuries on vacations are doing anything wrong if this is what rocks their boat. After all there are guides on the shelves who devote great chunk of capacity to describe various food and accommodation options at destination leaving precious little space for more touristy ,sightseeing stuff so obviously there's market. Then there are those who debate at length merits of airlines , airport lounges and favorite seats on board, obviously it matters to them. I myself given chance don't mind splurging here and there on food and hotels but with age comes experience and it tells me that often difference in cost is much higher than service it pays for . If I sleep soundly in 30$ Nantra Silom I will not likely be sleeping better in 70$ Raya to mention my two favorite Silom places. After 3 hours of flight I'm ready to hang myself and only reason I don't do it is lack of tree aboard of the aircraft and it has nothing to do with quality of seat or foods, being confined it what tires me. But one can't by entirely frugal and have a fun in life, it's where my tipping practice , often condemned here for spoiling market for others , comes to level field with those hotel types who at the same breath sing praises for their 5 star digs and complain about drink prices and greedy boys with inflating tip expectations. So it looks we all have our strengths and weaknesses when comes to consumption,

from recent reports after ownership change mixed gender couples are often in plain view, no personal experience since though as Tarntawan for me is a height of unaffordable luxury and last time stay there exactly 3 years ago.

if you hungry almost any restaurant will do, Michelin or not. If you are not but want to impress yourself or others or just splash on food to feel good , go with Michelin or other ratings. If on your way you will spot grey-haired farang breakfasting in Foodland Patpong with hunky boy in late 20-ties or munching on chicken with cashew nuts at Oasis , Suriwong with even older but hunkier boy, that farang will be me. Two farangs , young and skinny and old but still presentable, sharing two pizzas while being eavesdropped by the waitress at Madrid Tavern will be ChristianPFC and me.

don't sweat this stuff , any hotel is both gay and straight friendly, I even saw single ladies and elderly couples in BBB Inn, Tarntawan is no longer gay hotel. Any place along Silom or Suriwong is close to BTS/ Subway and great shopping , short hop / 2-3 stations on BTS / brings you to even greater shopping along Sukhumvit

I visited in Jun in 2013, 2015 and 2016, heat while oppressive was still bearable and rain scarce . Like gaybutton above I noticed very little difference between Jun and Dec visited in the same years plus 2014. Customers are scarcer and a bit less boys available as well but easier to get good flight and hotel deals in Jun. Go in Jun and you will be as happy as every other month. Biggest noticeable difference is in weather which is at her best now but this window is short, perhaps 6 weeks before heat returns with vengeance.

I like Jupiter show but best way to see what is to your taste is to make grand tour of them all. At times show may be so-so but boys great or other way around. Don't worry about forgetting Barbiery or old Jupiter, what is gone is gone, even water was more wet in our younger days. Boy66 located in old Jupiter place has also show with quite a hunky background

quite possible fixtures and furniture will be sold to some second rated provincial and back soi motels so they treated your question as provocation. But a idea is not a bad and hotel could make a bundle by advertising such an opportunity and charging higher room rate but not for damage. I, for one don't have any emotional attachment to Dusit Thani as never was inclined to stay there but always looked for a familiar spire at beginning of every trip. -

that's correct but also it may mean some boys may be heading home for a break -
do you also need to buy him a drink ? Am not against an idea of such a fee, particularly when boy is held in ransom for prolonged time and leaves empty handed or with meager tip. In Sept I was salivating over boy at BBB Boyztown who was sitting with female customer for length of whole show only to learn next day from him that he was not offed and his tip was just a 100 baht. I did not want to be assholish but regretted upon learning about it that I did not ask mamasan to ask client if she will be taking him, should I ?

no idea where Goldenboy went but in Sept I had very good experience with masseur in Fah massage in the complex. Selection of boys was so good that bordered on confusing me so I just grabbed one sitting up front and glad I did. Can recommend that place but of course like with everything, place or boy one of was was happy with may turn disappointment to other

Always try few sites as prices may vary considerable and if one site shows hotel booked out it doesn't mean you will not find room there on another site. Also don't forget hotel's own website. When booking in hotel not well known for being gay friendly it's always better to book double room as some may charge you joiner fee if you have single room. If you are with muscle guy both of you are lucky, LOL I sense you may like Tam, #60 at Boy66 bar -

problem with those is that they seem to be open only when train is running i.e. 6-24 and lots of flights are landing past midnight

can't agree with you ,I had quite a few memorable and invigorating massages in those places and I mean massage in real sense -
I like that idea of giving that extra tip separately as it serves two purposes at once , you show them that you know rates and you indicated that you liked them more than average and compensate to that extra effort / feeling . Great report , another entry to the forum with big bang. while you are right , from my experience boys realize and accept that they may not get the same their bar friends got. But they will expect on the next off to receive the same tip you got them last time. This is when idea of separating tip into regular and extra one mentioned above comes handy. I call it not wasting precious vacation time and as OP remarked, helps with sleep on return flight.

that's the thought I had when reading this report after yours, LOL

Great report and great entry you kicked forum's door with force. I wouldn't classify Nine visit as disappointment - great body , skillful massage and great hand finish, all count for something. You weren't exactly happy and tip reflected that , all fair IMHO I agree with Divine comments re compensation - since we pay we can set some expectancies, as far as i'm concerned at least touching him all over if desired is part and parcel of oil massage. We don't take massage just to look at boy's eyes Kissing is more chemistry thing and again , as he said it should be asked in advance and if not I'd not hold against boy if he doesn't. From sounds of it I'd give him another chance as one encounter is just that, single sample. Hope you continue having fun in Bangkok and share here whatever you see fit. Welcome to the forum ! -
BBB Inn always has free rooms , holidays or not

For my personal use , while I can imagine spending that kind of money on a long time off , no matter how hungry I was I'd never spent that much on a meal, particularly in BKK. Long live Foodland , Patpong , zero Michelin stars
