I had similar experience with one of Arena boys I met before few times without a glitch in their place. Finally offed him LT , then all of the sudden in the morning he was very unhappy with 3000 and requested 5000. I stand my ground since I consider 3000 LT VERY fair tip if not more but he was very disappointed and left in huff. Since I know him a bit I don't think he faked it so somebody must tell him he got 5000 from me. Next trip we made friends again In most cases they just take money, often not even counting it but sometimes they do and ask for "small money" for taxi even if tip just received included some 100 baht bills, LOL If they expect more they accept their fate leaving unhappy, ask you for more or you may have a scene. I had it rarely but in one case of Dreamboys he even went as far as calling mamasan from my room who told me 1500 is minimum but I stand my ground / boy did not even undress using excuses/ and next morning half hotel knew I had problems with my guest and I got some looks. In another case Tawan boy firmly wanted 4000 and did not yield underscoring that he is serious by sitting down and I relented to avoid another scene. If you curious , in both cases tip was discussed beforehand as is usually / 9 of of 10 / my habit. So it looks , at times one can't avoid those things no matter what. No need to be paranoid though as those just rare occurrences and reason we return trip after trip is we are very happy with our boys

it's good idea to decide for ourselves what is maximum we are willing to fork out so we are not get caught in the heat of the moment which may happen to everybody with help of drink or two plus hand placed strategically on the boy's leg. 3000 for LT I'd reserve only for most stunning guys willing to stay really long long time so I don't think quotation/request above would be bar policy, 1500 ST is very generous too. Z909 above seems to be on the spot although more popular boys may expect more than 2000 for LT. Don't blame boys for asking for more and standing their ground as described by 1moRussian, they are just on another side of equation probing us how much they can extract from us . I think they sniffed you as being new in that bar and tried 3000 LT. Bar may have such policy now though, needs confirmation by others , hopefully soon as few members announced their imminent arrival in LOS. there's pressure but you can easily resist by saying you are not buying drink. Bigger issue would be in they bring boy's drink before you are able to say anything - that's pretty common complaint on the forums .
