I haven't been to the Malaga (Torremolinos) area in at least 10 years - but when I was there it was full of opportunities. Unfortunately, the internet only lists 1 gay sauna: https://www.travelgay.com/torremolinos-gay-saunas

don't say this @vinapu - you would lose all of us and more importantly we would lose you - and that would be awful. Who would replace our favorite KFC to give us sage advice and special "boot camp" training sessions!!

YES - but I believe that these are a response to various social media platforms that push-out reminders about when our birthdays are to our contact lists - and consequently, people that we never hear from feel the need to reply to their social media feed that has reminded them that it is my birthday. Consequently, I don't like these - as they feel fake and artificial and when possible I try to disable the birthdate data element in my various social media profiles to avoid that these companies send push messages on my behalf to my contact list. I much prefer to get very few real "Happy Birthday" messages that originated from people with sincere intentions (as opposed to feeling that it is an obligation due to a social media automated push message). And often, my BEST "Happy Birthday" messages are those that are late - days or weeks after the occasion, as those messages seem to be the most genuine and from the heart.

And then denies that this "opportunity" even existed when they don't like the image that this former "opportunity" brought them. I tell my Thai friends that in the USA we have Las Vegas, the most similar place to Pattaya, and we don't pretend to ignore what really goes on there --> instead we embrace its success, but with the following motto: "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" So, here in Thailand we could say: "What happens in Pattaya, stays in Pattaya"
-
They forgot to include: Boom-Boom in the above list. oh, I forgot, we are no longer allowed to make references to "sin city" in the context of Pattaya. Hmmm, what happened back in the 1960s and 1970s to cause more than 400,000 military personnel to be sent for R&R (rest & relaxation) to that then small sleepy fishing village, known as Pattaya? hmmm, how many orgasms back in those days planted the seeds to what we now know as the Pattaya of today ?

I am truly VERY happy to hear that you enjoyed your time on beautiful Koh Larn. If you do not mind - do you perhaps remember the name of the beach that you went to? Having taken the ferry you most likely took the bahtbus (songthaew) from the main seaport village to one of the many outlying beaches. @Foolish I truly like your writing style - these extras are what make reading trip reports exciting @Foolish COMPLIMENTS for visiting the Big Tool Legacy place on Walking Street. @emiel1981 and I were supposed to visit this place but we did not - we walked past it as our agenda for that evening was already too full. At least we (us forum members) can now know that if we want to see the "BIG TOOL" it is going to cost us 3,000 baht for an exciting perhaps peak and touch ? This is a high fee especially when considering the use of the @vinapu patented, "Vinapu Tuck", as I would need to buy a new pair of walking shorts with many pockets - as it would require 30 red notes....

p.s. I told Ta Lin that when I saw all of this construction in this big space that I was hoping for a dance club - that the Jomtien Complex really needs a good place for dancing with good farang type of music - as we both agreed that at the nearby Dragon Music club - the existing DJs do not play good dancing music. Ta Lin smiled and said, hmmm, perhaps there is truly a need for a good dancing place in the Complex.

Walking through the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown) today, I saw someone approachable to ask what was going on with the transformation of the ex Dolce Vita. He (Ta Lin) replied: it will be a new cabaret show bar, like M2M and The Venue, he hopes to have it open in like 6 to 8 more weeks, he would not tell me the name of the new cabaret place - as he wants it to be a surprise. As you may remember, the former Dolce Vita restaurant resided in a very large space. From what I could see today, it looks like it will be bigger than M2M and perhaps around the same size as The Venue's cabaret area. But we need to remember that M2M, some time ago, took over the former Dorothy Showbar space - which is directly in front of the current existing M2M - and the work on that new space is intermittent and does not appear to be in a rush to be completed - in case anyone might know what plans they (M2M) have for it ?

Trip Report (Nov/Dec 2024) - Trying out new experiences

Talk to the hand!!! Where is the BEEF ? 🤪 -
I got SUPER excited because you may have been the FIRST visitor to go over to Koh Larn - at least since I have been here now 2 years. and then my excitement was deflated. I was hoping to hear if you would have agreed to the beauty of Koh Larn - especially the nice powder white sand Tien beach with the turquoise blue transparent water - unlike the coffee brown water back in Pattaya / Jomtien. Perhaps in your next trip you might go to Koh Larn ? Maybe another visitor to Pattaya will make the adventure to wonderful Koh Larn (make sure to cross over the island to the non-Pattaya facing side as that is the MOST beautiful part of Koh Larn). Great trip report by the way and thanks :>))

Have you tried a Twitter (X) search? Keywords would be: #alterpanglao #massage In The Philippines, it appears that they use the #alter keyword in front of any searchable term to find PLUs (People Like Us)

Please see my post from 27 January 2024 where I discuss how to join/enroll in the LINE chat groups that are dedicated to massage. I find them useful and entertaining as it is the Thai version of our forum here at gayguides.com but dedicated to massage places, the massage guys, critiques and opinions, discounts, parties, gossip, coupons, etcetra. Note that the majority of the focus of these LINE massage forums are Bangkok centric - however, they will occasionally discuss massage places in Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket and Japan. However, they hardly ever discuss the massage situation in Pattaya, as the massage scene in Pattaya is an anomaly when compared with the rest of Thailand (no booking or reservation systems, no info on the guys available with photos and sexual positions, etcetra).

World’s largest carved Buddha image 30-minute drive from Pattaya
bkkmfj2648 replied to reader's topic in Gay Pattaya
As a newbie, to riding a motorbike, I can definitely relate to that NEW "pain in the ass" feeling from riding a motorbike for so far and for so long. Also, my arms were aching, as I was so tense with the motorbike steering bar at those high speeds, that I had problems at the gym in the following days with arm excercises. But the thrill and freedom feeling, once you get outside of the environs of Pattaya City, are well worth any pain. -
World’s largest carved Buddha image 30-minute drive from Pattaya

When I was taking my motorbike lessons earlier this year with my volleyball friend - our graduation finale was to drive our motorbikes to Khao Chi Chan from Jomtien. It was a great trip, but I recall it taking 1 or 2 hours to get there from Jomtien. Maybe we drove like 2 old grandmothers? I remember driving cautiously but at a good pace. My Google timeline confirms that the first segment of our trip was 14 miles and took 50 minutes and then the second segment was another 14 miles and took 1 hour: -
Elite Bronze offers challenge to Destination Thailand Visa
bkkmfj2648 replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
It appears to be lumped in with the other Elite types of visas, which are subject to the need to pay Thailand PIT taxes if you are deemed as a tax resident (residing more than 180 days in the Kingdom in a calendar year). I believe that the ONLY visa that gives a tax exemption is the Thailand BOI (Board of Investment) LTR (Long Term Resident) Wealthy Pensioner visa. But this has a HIGH passive income requirement of $80,000 USD per year verifiable via your home country tax return in the prior 2 years from when you apply. Below is the hyperlink to the official web page. https://ltr.boi.go.th/ -
And this is SO SO SO SO true. So, be very careful with whom you allow yourself to fall in love with.

I strongly endorse this as part of the philosophy = "Birds of the same feather {tend} to flock together".

I agree. Except, I would substitute the word "Bangkok" with "Thailand" 🤩 -
The origins and allure of Thailand’s famous Walking Streets

These articles seem to be under the influence of flowery, over-the-top, AI GPT systems. I would love to see the AI PROMPT that was used to create it. -
I agree, as the Thai baht has remained strong against the Myanmar currency. Furthermore, the Myanmar junta often demands via legislation that some of these foreign remittances go to them to support their war. This has put some of the Thai banks in difficulty, as they are inadvertently helping to fund this war when Myanmar nationals remit their wages earned in Thailand back home. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/06/27/asia/myanmar-junta-weapons-thailand-banks-intl-hnk/index.html

In my trip report from Koh Tao earlier this year - 90% of the workers on the island (Turtle Island) were Myanmar nationals. We often asked them if they were happy to live and work on the island and the answer was almost = YES. The irony was that hardly any of them spoke Thai and my Thai friend was so perplexed that hardly anyone on Koh Tao could speak Thai. So, Thailand wants the millions of baht income that comes from tourists - but they don't want to support the foreign workers who are working in the hospitality sector. When we were able to find a true Thai citizen on Koh Tao we asked her: --> Why was almost everyone who works here from Myanmar ? " She replied: 1.) The Myanmar people speak English very well, 2.) The tourists like the kindness of the Myanmar people, 3.) It is extremely difficult for them to recruit Thai people to come and work on Koh Tao, 4.) The local Koh Tao mafia likes the Myanmar workforce because they can pay them less than any other potential worker (both domestic Thais and foreign workers { Lao + Cambodia}. Related Koh Tao trip report from June 2024 can be found here:

YES - Halelujah!!! I agree 200% In my opinion, Thailand has a responsibility to protect them from a humanitarian point of view. If they deport them back to Myanmar they are often forced into the military to fight in this senseless war - which can become a death sentence for them.

@vinapu your universe is rewarding you because of what recently happened in your life and because of your bad prior trip to LOS. I am so happy for you - especially since this happiness emanated from Jupiter - often of not such a happy place in the past.
