  1. When I first reported on Moonlight, ever so long ago, I noted the quality was there but it was starting slowly as some of the staff were wearing Jupiter logos. There’s been constant upgrading, the show is more styled, recruitment of guys is remarkable. Just check out the nightly Facebok broadcasts. And, a Moonlight is the offspring of Hot Male (!). The transfer of Teight across Surawong!
  2. I thought the cardinal sinner was in Washington...and then the one in Australia
  3. Welcome back, have an enjoyable fun time, and continue noting the changes you see...lessens the number of unneeded surprises for my next Bangkok jaunt. Question - any particular reason you chose to fly west from JFK rather than east?
  4. Monger Index - I love it!
  5. Thanks for the report...it’s the filigree of the details that make your trip spinning a cut above most others (e.g. mine). I think you are the first to mention that X-Boys is now G-boy. Looks to be close to Moonlight. Oh, agree with you on Excelsior Tailors, they’ve been my Bangkok shop stop for longer than I want to remember.
  6. Thanks for your report, admire you’re energy and enthusiasm. Rest up and be refreshed for #18.

    Weekdays

Often more attention paid in the gogos on the slow days...also more availability. Not to forget the joys of massage and app viewing.
  8. Interesting to note many posters seem to be concerned about Starbucks economics and the coffee seller being used by customers using space, internet, etc and freeloading with one drink... Starbucks didn’t become a world beverage behemoth by being a charity. I more than suspect they have the economics down to the last baht.
  9. Maps of Sunee when they can be found are also less than 100% accurate.
  10. Vinapu - I sent in a nomination to the Pattaya Chamber of Commercen suggesting you be made an honorary member for advocating the pleasures and joys of Pattaya!
  11. I follow the same system of leaving a tip each day in an area that is to be cleaned. I do it as the cleaners often change and want to tip the one who cleans. Also definitely agree that the tip can disappear when the final room check is done...
  12. guess it's a new definition of full (frontal) service
  13. Happy birthday wishing you many more reporting opportunities in the futures
  14. Not sure if it helps, but I've switched to flying Eva from SF. Leaves SFO around midnight, stops in Taipei, then to Bangkok around lunch time. Much better than the multi hour layover in Tokyo before a 6 hour flight arriving in Bangkok close to midnight.
  15. Salute to the Forum's intrepid Vinapu for setting standards for ground breaking!
  16. On the Newark to Singapore direct flight... Is there information on the flight back to Newark from Singapore against the headwinds? Which might be out of range. According to Bloomberg, Singapore has purchased/ordered 7 of there long haul planes.
  17. Thanks, Moses, for reminding the world at large (in this Forum) of the Siam Roads guides. I've enjoyed being guided by Mac, Ohh, and Best. All first quality. Mac is especially open in last minute changes in plan - a "fault" of mine.
  18. Looks like American has significantly improved. As I understand the survey, it tested both long haul and commuter award availability on major routes. To date the best value for my miles has been for international business class.
  19. Thanks, hanan, for the updates

    Asia Guys Blog

Very informative on the KTav clubs in China. The shorter video reminded me a bit of Golden Cock in Bangkok
  21. Works fine using Chrome
  22. Excellent report, enjoyed the details written so engagingly.
