As we walked into soi 6 towards Quarter Silom, we passed by the massage shops. A Vietnamese guy from Sun Massage called out to me. He had massaged me last year. It was a so-so affair but I like his smile and cheerful personality. He is the younger brother of Handsome Guy at Good Boy. I looked at my watch. "I come back. I go hotel first," I said to him. Forum member and I arrived back at Quarter Silom and said bye. We agreed to meet later for dinner. I went up to room to change out of my wet clothes and get cash. I sent a message to my guy to tell him to take his time and come back to hotel later. He's holding on to the 2nd room key card so he can easily enter room. I went for massage with Younger Brother and this time, he really took the lead from the beginning. I think he probably heard from his older brother (or info could be from other massage guys) what I liked and he made me very happy indeed. After the one hour happy massage, I went back to room. My guy was lying on bed and watching Tiktok on his phone. Seeing my happy face, he surmised, "You go massage! I know!"

Forum member, my guy and I joined the mass aerobics exercise at Lumpini Park. On weekends, there's only one session from 5pm to 6pm unlike weekdays when there's two sessions from 6pm to 8pm. My guy was initially shy and wanted to be at the side but I dragged him to the middle of the courtyard where forum member and I were standing. Forum member seemed to enjoy the aerobics and so did my guy once he got over the awkwardness of being surrounded by hundreds of aunties. I estimate the number of guys to be not more than 50. To be honest, I didn't enjoy today's session because I did not like the instructor. She was an auntie conducting the aerobics session alone by herself and her steps were repetitive and not creative. There are different instructors who rotate the duties every day. My favourite is the lady instructor who's always accompanied by 2 guys and one is a cutie hunk daddy. At 5:20pm, it started raining heavily suddenly and everyone ran for cover under the trees or for the snacks building. Forum member brought an umbrella so he sheltered me as he walked to the MRT station entrance. My guy, being all manly, walked in the rain. In fact, he was enjoying himself and even filmed himself soaked in the rain. We walked to the BTS from the MRT and saw that the rain got even heavier. We decided to take shelter at Silom Edge. We went to basement food court where there were tables and chairs for us to rest for the next half hour until the rain stopped. My guy's shoes were totally soaked. He wanted to go back to his room and wear his sandals for the rest of the night. I said ok. See you later. He took a motorcycle taxi along Silom Road while forum member and I walked back to Quarter Silom.

Forum member went back to hotel room to take a rest while I caught up with some friends for coffee. At 4:15pm I rushed back to hotel. I woke my guy up and we got changed into sports attire. We were going to mass aerobics at Lumpini Park at 5pm. We waited at lobby for forum member. I managed to convince him to join us! As we were about to leave hotel, my guy spotted a Vietnamese friend walking past towards the gym. He went to say hi and found out that his friend (who formerly worked at his bar but now currently works at massage shop in nearby soi 6) is going to hotel gym. He has a gym membership there. My guy was intrigued and keen on getting a gym membership for himself. "We come back later after exercise," I said to my guy.

I exited Quarter Silom by the side entrance towards soi 6 and walked to BTS then went shopping. 2 hours later, I came back to hotel room to put my shopping purchases quietly and making sure not to wake my guy up. I met forum member at hotel lobby and we had lunch at Derby King, foot massage at Green Massage (by guys who wear orange polo T-shirts!) and walked one round around Silom and Surawong area. We saw Sarica under renovation and Hook Up bar which had replaced Side. Unfortunately they open only at 4pm and it was only 3pm when we walked past. We also observed a new branch of Togayther Hotel being readied at Patpong next to Chaichana Massage. Next to Voco hotel, the wall hoarding covering the construction had finally come down. I had expected it to be another new hotel but surprise surprise it's Healthland! They have taken over an entire building! Lots of changes for second half of 2026!

I woke up at 8am. I was hungry but I waited another half hour before waking my guy up for breakfast. Breakfast spread at Quarter Silom was good enough for me. Not as extensive a variety like in Le Meridien but better than Raya. I had 2 rounds of food while my guy insisted he was full after finishing one plate of food. I believe he is trying to lose weight so as not to appear flabby when he stands next to younger guys on stage in his bar. Not many hotel guests at Quarter Silom breakfast. There was a family with two kids, two sets of gay couples (Taiwanese and Malaysian) and three guests on their own. I was expecting to see overnight boys and the only one was my guy! My guy and I played chess while we ate. Then it was back to room for sex. After we showered, I got ready to go out for shopping. I switched off all lights and I tucked my guy into bed. We agreed that he would sleep the rest of morning and afternoon until 3pm.

At about 1:30am, my guy and I left Midnight. We headed to Quarter and met forum member who had just finished a wonderful time with his guy from Hot Male. The three of us walked past Mango Tree to check out the soi - I don't know the exact name. Is it soi Tawan? I wanted to check out the bar that a forum member had recommended for live music and beer. Unfortunately the bar was full! We got a look inside. All tables were occupied and people (mix of men and women) were standing and dancing. No live bar but loud music from DJ. Very lively atmosphere. Customers all Thai. I had been looking for a nice chill out place for supper and unfortunately Friday night was the wrong time for this bar. We then went to disco on 4th floor h.i.m. 200 baht cover charge with one drink. Unfortunately it was only 2am and the crowd from DJ station had not arrived. So it was just 3 of us plus one couple who were at bar counter drinking. I really need to improve on my timing next time. At about 2:30am, we decided to go back to hotel. I watched World Cup football with my guy until 4am (Spain defeated Belgium) then we went to sleep.

Very often, one can see shirtless guys in shorts walking about the area smoking, chatting or watching people play pool at the pool table bar below Freshboy. These guys work at Good Boy. They come out of their bar during the show if they don't have a customer buying them a drink. They definitely cannot come out in their white trunks with number tags so they put on shorts when they come out of the bar. That's how I got reacquainted with Handsome Guy from Good Boy. He spotted me and my guy sitting at Midnight. He came over and we chat. My guy of course knows him as they are Vietnamese and they hang out after work. Handsome Guy tells me he hasn't had any customer off for 1 week. I explain that I cannot off anyone else as long as my guy is in Bangkok. But I did pass Handsome Guy 200 baht tip. I also passed him another 400 baht to give to two other Viet guys at Good Boy. They were seated at steps smoking. They saw me earlier and waved to me. When Handsome Guy went to them and passed them 200 baht each, they waved at me again appreciatively.

At 1:00am, the guys from the 3 bars in Patpong 2 (Freshboy, Dreamboys, Hot Male) started coming out after their bars closed for the night. Only Good Boy remains open until 2:00am. It is because of this reason why many Vietnamese and Laos guys from the other bars gather at the steps facing the entrance of Freshboy. They wait there for their friends at Good Boy to finish work. They usually eat and drink beer together. Tonight, there was free beer courtesy of lady boss of Freshboy. She got her personal assistant to buy some bottles of beer and she personally handed them to the guys seated at the steps. She must be in a generous mood. Business at Freshboy must have been very good. I also spotted a Myanmar guy walk past quickly after leaving from Dreamboy. I knew him from several years ago when Dreamboy's premises was used by Lucky Boy (I wonder if the owner opened another bar elsewhere?). This handsome Myanmar guy left the bar scene and worked at massage place but it looks like he's back working in bar. I would have called out to him but he walked so quickly. Nevertheless, I know where to find him in future. My guy got tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and it was some guy who knew him. They said hi very quickly then he left. He was the guy in Hot Male whom I had seen earlier and who looked shy standing on the stage. My guy told me that he's Cambodian and he's of mixed parentage - half Cambodian half Chinese so he speaks Mandarin. He used to work at Freshboy then left. Another one to add to my list to check out - when my guy isn't around of course!

After dinner, forum member and I decided to go to Hot Male bar. He has a guy he sees at the bar whenever he goes there. I gave my guy money and told him to go for a one-hour Thai massage. I will meet him after my bar visit. When forum member and I walked into Hot Male after 10:30pm, the show had started. There were not many customers - about 5 women in a corner drinking with 2 Hot Male guys, 2 lone customers seated on their own and forum member and me - barely 10 customers on a Friday night. The show has always been performed by the Hot Male guys themselves. No ladyboy diva singing. But finally there is a change - the management hired a pretty-faced male performer to lipsynch a song. He looked familiar. I might have seen him at Banana. I believe he rotates through several bars every night. Strange that Hot Male management hired him. I am sure one of its own guys could be instructed and trained to put up a similar performance. After the show finished, all the guys stood on stage with their number tags prominent on their bikini briefs. I like seeing guys in bikini briefs compared to shorts in Dreamboys, Good Boy and Freshboy. Hehe. One particular guy caught my attention. He seemed shy standing on stage. But no off for me. My guy was waiting for me. Forum member got reacquainted with his guy who has a great smile and spoke good English. Forum member paid off fee and he took his guy back to hotel for more reacquaintancing. I walked to Midnight bar and said hi to the Myanmar waiters. I ordered coffee. I was going to stay up till 4am. There was a World Cup football match from 2am to 4am. I played checkers with the checkers champion of Midnight bar (and I lost miserably!) My guy joined me after his massage. He tried playing checkers against checkers champion but he lost also. Enough of checkers. Let's just sit and watch people pass by. I saw some guys from the bars walking past with customers. My guy recognised a few from his bar. One of the Myanmar waiters asked me if I was in the mood for shots. Sure, why not? He suggested Sambuca. I had never heard of it but I was game to try it. I ordered a tray of 6 shots (at 150 baht per shot) and my guy and me and 4 of the waiters toasted each other and said cheers before downing Sambuca in one gulp. Sambuca is not vodka or whisky. It is from Italy and has 40% alcohol. It is sweet and flavourful and I generally liked it!

As long as we are not retired, we can only enjoy such pleasures for a moment.

Towards the end of our dinner, one of the cute waiters brought a complimentary plate of apple strudel dessert onto our table. Guido was so generous! We wished him well on his new restaurant in Pattaya which was opening in August.

After shower, my guy and I went to lobby of Quarter Hotel to meet forum member. Forum member had just arrived in Bangkok in afternoon after touring other Asean countries the past 2 weeks. I introduced my guy to forum member and off we went to G's for dinner with another friend. We opted for table inside in air conditioned comfort as weather outdoors was warm. I ordered sausage platter and my guy followed suit. Guido made his usual joke "how do you like my sausage?" This time, he added "do you want to try my balls?" - referring to meatballs!

My guy automatically carried my bag for me while we made our way to Quarter Silom via Surawong Road. No other hotel guest checking in at reception so it was a quick affair. Cute reception guy gave me two card keys. He didn't even ask for my guy's passport for check in. I was given a room in Tower 3 which is separate from the main building (Towers 1 and 2 where gym, pool and restaurants were). I remembered paying the cheapest option on Agoda for a first floor room but I got a floor on high floor with balcony. It seemed like I got an upgrade! The rain showerhead in the toilet looked inviting. I sent a message to forum member sorry I need another 15 minutes. After forum member replied OK take your time, I proceeded to have shower sex with my guy. Hehehe.

I knew that I could not check in at hotel and make it for dinner at 8pm so I told forum member that I could only meet at 9pm. I didn't have to collect any luggage so I could proceed to airport train after immigration. I transferred to BTS and I was soon in Silom. I made my way to Patpong soi 2. I gave the bald Dreamboy promoter a pack of cigarettes as I passed by his bar. I said hello to the Myanmar waiters at Midnight bar and said I would see them later. I reached the entrance of Freshboy and my heart was racing with excitement as I walked up the stairs. I was going to pay off fee for my guy for two nights. Yes, my regular guy is back working in Bangkok after one month away in Vietnam. There were no customers at 8:15pm when I walked in. There were 6 guys including my guy. They were seated all over the bar and the moment I sat down with mamasan, the 6 guys got up on stage. I could easily have told my guy to pay his off fees in advance on his own and he wouldn't need to report to work. He could meet me at hotel and I would pay him later but I knew that his bar frowns upon such arrangement. I decided it was important for me to be physically present. I ordered a glass of orange juice and sat down to chit chat with mamasan while looking up at the 6 guys and smiling at them. I presented mamasan with a small bottle of perfume and got her to spray it on her wrist to smell it. She liked the fragrance. I give her gifts from time to time so that she treats my guy well. I told her I was in Bangkok for weekend and I would off my guy for 2 nights. She nodded and I signalled to my guy to get changed. While waiting for him, I asked the remaining 5 guys if they smoked. All said yes and I happily gave them cigarettes. My guy soon appeared from the dressing room. We said our goodbyes to the other guys and the staff and made our way to Quarter Silom.

The reason why I am back in Bangkok in July one month after a 2-week holiday in June is because of a forum member who is in town. In fact, forum member stopped by in Singapore 2 weeks ago at start of his holiday and I met him for dinner (my treat of course!) I enjoy hanging out with forum member. That's why I decided to go on weekend trip to meet him and visit bars together. I even chose the same hotel he's staying - Quarter Silom - so that it will be convenient for us to meet. It's my first time staying at Quarter Silom. When I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Friday 7pm, I was greeted by an unbelievable crowd of people at immigration. It would take 1 to 2 hours. Fortunately, I could go to autogate for Hong Kong and Singapore citizens. Normally, there's hardly any queue at the 2 dedicated autogates which were next to autogates for Thai nationals. But today there was a large group of Hong Kong tourists who arrived. Instead of normal 5 minutes to process, I had to wait 15 minutes. It was still better than being stuck in a 1 hour queue. I believe the long wait is due to insufficient immigration officers (maybe a number of them are taking their annual vacation leave now during low season) and greater scrutiny and checks on arrivals.

If one is to stay at this new hotel, he can only get a good night's sleep after 1:00am. It will be noisy because of Patpong market especially from midnight to 1:00am when the workers are dismantling the stalls.

I was in Bangkok the recent weekend. Two new places in Silom. In advanced stage of construction but looks like opening in August. Togayther Hostel in Patpong. Next to Chaichana. Healthland Massage - an entire building! Next to Voco hotel along Surawong Road.

I believe the management also takes into consideration the number of drinks brought in as well. The bars actually earns more from boy drinks.

I don't think the bonus applies if it is offs by same customer.
