My favouritism also means that the "Boy" bars are my top 3 bars - Freshboy, Dreamboy, Good Boy. But truthfully speaking, I used to really like Jupiter and Moonlight when I wasn't settled down.

Yes it's because of 84 baht breakfast that I always keep coins whenever I get change. The Foodland staff know me as the customer who pays for 84 baht American breakfast in coins. (I also use coins for bus and BTS rides! 10 baht coins also come in handy for laundry machines!)

Oh yes, when you off a guy from Dream Boy (highly likely because you tipped a guy there twice in one night), the off fee is 550 baht. The off fee for other bars is 500 baht.

It's OK for a guy to sit with customer and watch one show. There are three shows every night. After the show, the guys politely tell customer they have to go back on stage (unless customer buys them another boy drink or off them)

What your guy said is true. Freshboy has many customers but they go mainly to watch the shows. In current low season, out of 30 to 40 guys working in a night, seldom are there more than 10 guys offed. In high season, the percentage is comfortably more than 50%. Even with few offs during this low season, the guys can still get by from boy drinks and customer's tips. Even though customers don't have intetion to off anyone, they like to invite guys to sit and drink with them while they watch the show.

I make her my best friend (and my guy's best friend) by ocassionally buying her perfume (in addition to customary 100 baht tip). She treats my guy well. When there are Chinese customers, she points at him on stage and recommends him as he can speak a bit of Mandarin. She also recommends him when there are customers who look to off a guy with intention to drink whisky with them outside. My guy can hold his liquor and doesn't get drunk easily but he does suffer a hangover the next day. The quid quo pro arrangement occurs when mamasan needs a reliable "fixer" to her problems. For example, customers order a bottle of whisky and are happily drinking but the bar wants them to finish it quickly (so that can order another new bottle) and mamasan needs to find guys who can drink. My guy is one of those whom mamasan calls down. My guy can't say no to mamasan. If up to him, he rather remain on stage and be offed by a customer for short time. Drinking all night with customers inside the bar limits his earning for the night. The most he ever earned as tip for drinking with customers inside the bar is 500 baht. Most times, it's only 200 baht. Because my guy reports to work on time most of time, he is available to help mamasan. Once, a Thai customer called her. He wanted an outcall massage with extras at 8pm. She directed my guy to go to hotel immediately and he duly obeyed. After my guy told me the story, I was flabbergasted. "I never know you know how to give a massage!" I said to him.

It was impressive of him that he continued fucking while taking the phone call!

I find half the guys at Hot Male hot and I would off them. One is a Vietnamese whom I saw in June but I didn't see him around in July. Another guy is a friend of my guy and they worked together at Freshboy. Why he decided to move from Freshboy which has many customers to Hot Male which has far fewer customers, I want to find out. He is able to speak Mandarin as he has one Chinese parent.

They are considered 3rd gender in Thailand. In the bars, the guys respect the mamasans because the mamasans can recommend them to customers. Also, the mamasans act as middleman between the guys and the boss of the bars. Mamasans have influence when the boss needs to decide whether to rehire a guy. The big sized mamasan at Freshboy celebrated her birthday two weeks ago. Every guy gave her birthday gifts in the form of flowers, chocolates or cash gift. My guy gave her 500 baht.

You will get used to mamasans asking you to call a guy down. Politely smile and say you are still looking and continue sipping your drink.
