Yes. Ibis is preferable to Raya because of the pool and it is newer. Final plus point is less treacherous road crossing at Ibis compared to Raya. But if I plan to off a guy from Moonlight, I will definitely book Raya! Hehe.

All guys at Freshboys who do the shows also have a number and are available for offs. Most guys are straight and tops.

I have a theory about why Atlas does not get many customers. I feel that it is because of its location. It's too open, being the first bar that people see when they walk into the street. I have a feeling that most customers want to be discreet. Hence they prefer bars such as Freshboys which is upstairs and away from public view. Just my theory.

In the trips this year, I also did not go to bars to off guys after I settled down with my regular guy. I went to watch the shows (and to lust over the handsome guys on stage). It's a different feeling knowing that there's someone always waiting for me. But my guy tells me that he does not mind me offing other guys. But he said this: "You cannot love them. Yes, you can ask them when you first meet them. If they don't speak English, they will use phone to translate. One very popular Vietnamese guy at Freshboys doesn't speak English at all even though he has worked in Bangkok for 2 years. He is very popular and customers even meet him for dinner outside of bar hours!

I think in my guy's example, he probably picked up his phone to read message so that he could get out of chatting with customer and can leave!

Raya is a good choice! In fact, if you go to 7/11 opposite it from 1am to 2am, you might see guys from bars who finished work. Most of them will happily accept an invitation to Raya hotel room!
