Yes I agree that location counts against Baiyoke Sky Hotel especially if I am in a bar in Silom. But then, @vinapu was right to take a tuktuk back to hotel. Surely unforgettable experience and not expensive for 200 baht.

Maggie Choo which closed in mid 2021 has just reopened! They have Gay Nights on Sundays! This gives hope that other bars and pubs will reopen before end of this year!

I never knew the appropriate amount to tip for foot massages. I always thought 100 baht would suffice but T, my Myanmar friend, told me to tip 200 baht regardless it is 300 or 400 baht foot massage. Ever since he said that, I have always tipped 200 baht.

It's my hotel of choice too! Staff on night duty know my routine - out at 9pm and back at midnight with friend!

Actually there was quite a turnover the past two weeks. Some guys went to other bars and new guys came in and took over their numbers hence confusing to customers who wanted to find back the same guy.
