Whilst the Red Dragon bar was easy to find based on the descriptions in this thread it remained empty during my numerous visits to Patpong 2 over the recent weekends; I didn't see a single customer there. Maybe it was too late in the evening; I didn't go to Patpong 2 earlier than 10PM. One of Fresh Boys barkers were quite cute so I decided to have a quick beer at Red Dragon one night (before going upstairs) and we had a few words (I can't remember his nationality) but it felt a bit awkward being the only person in an "open" bar like this (not even a bartender behind the small bar) so I moved quickly on. I found the Hotmale Bar (outside) quite entertaining. Some customers there and the waiters quite talkative/attentive (but way too small/twinky to me except for 1 rather outgoing tall/larger guy; English well spoken - again, I forgot his nationality).

A few observations from my visits to BKK over the last 2 weekends. BKK is by no means deserted. Still many tourists in town. However, there are fewer than for normal for high season. It seems that in particular Chinese tourists stay away. Hotel rates are down. Stayed at Le Siam hotel, Executive room at a very reasonable rate - very happy to stay there. As reported before this hotel has quest-friendly policy - no issues. I was at Dj St. 3 times over the last 2 weekends (Fri + Sat and Fri). Entrance is THB 400 incl. 2 drinks. The other soi 2 venues/bars are still very busy/crowded with local/Asian quests but at DJ St. you can actually move around now; much fewer quests upstairs; downstairs still quite busy. It was indeed much more comfortable as in the past DJ St would get incredibly crowded Fridays and Saturdays. I would say that the number of guests during my recent weekend visits were like a weekday or Sunday visit in normal high season.

Thanks, it could very well be an ex Moonlight guy because there was something familiar about him. I felt that I had seen him before but brushed it off as being another idea of mine. I do see resemblance to the guy in the pic that you have marked with the red circle (but admittedly I'm not entirely sure). He is indeed the guy in the towel show at Jupiter. Certainly not shy! I doubt Mr Aek/#88 would ever expose himself like this on stage.

I didn't see Aek in the show that night (unfortunately, he is very hot) The guy I mean doesn't look Vietname as #88 and has a more masculine face (I believe) and is doing the towel show to together with Mr Mekhin and 3-4 other guys - he is the guy that will "accidently" let his erect cxxk swing through the towel.

Both Mr Arm and Mr JoJo (#31) were on stage during my visit around 10 days ago. Indeed, JoJo looks very hot. My favorite boy too. Amazing body. He was asked to sit with some Chinese looking customers (male) but returned quickly. I couldn't see if he ended up with an off. I need to off that boy at some stage haha Arm didn't wear any number tag, so he may have been off'ed. I saw him sitting and talking to a female customer at some stage. On a personale note, I don't understand your fascination by Arm. Yes, he is tall but not particular handsome IMO; bodywise he more slim/less muscular than most of the other guys on stage who easily outshine him. For me there would be at least 5 other guys from Jupiter that I would rather off before asking Mr Arm if he would go with me. There was another guy on stage that I was rather fascinated by. Rather short guy (with nice lean muscle body of course) but be stood out with his very energetic dancing and confident moving on stage, great attitude IMO. He seemed to be one of the older (and experienced) guys and a few times he appeared to give directions to the less experienced/younger guys on stage. He performed in 1 or 2 shows exposing his fully erect cxxk; he certainly isn't shy. Sorry, but I have forgotten the # nor did I catch his name. He was asked to sit with a male farang customer and at the end of the show left with him. For the avoidance of doubt I'm not talking about Mr Mekhin who was also at Jupiter that night eagerly trying to find a customer; great attitude btw) As for the current situation at Jupiter I agree with the previous comments. Business has certainly gone down. Despite being a Sunday it was a somewhat quiet night with many seats available. Also the number of boys on stage were fewer than what I saw last year. Still a decent number of visiting customers but many were there just for a short time, a quick drink/beer and left again. As usual quite a few female Asian customers; either by themselves or in small groups with gay friends. It was clear that these customers had the particular attention of Mr Mekhin, hehe. Anyway, it appeared to me that a fair number of the boys found a customer for the night; several of them left the bar with customers.

A few observations from the farewell /last show of Mr Babe last night @ Moonlight Looking as cute as before and with his humble attitude Mr Babe looked almost embarrassed from the all the attention and cheers he got from the audience when he appeared on stage at the model presentation (maybe it was the 4-5 garlands of 100B notes that he received; never seen a moonlight model receive that many). Mr Babe gave a short speech (in Thai followed by a shorter version in English) thanking everyone (Moonlight, guests) for the support in his 1-2 years at Moonlight. Mr Babe will surely be missed; the true star on stage @ Moonlight. I have said it before in this thread, but he is second to none when performing/dancing. The energy and the way he moves on stage - simply outstanding! As always his performance /dance in “She Bangs” (by Ricky Martin if you have forgotten) last night was nothing but spectacular. As a finale Mr Babe also did the shower show (although no erection was apparent in the boxer shorts he wore; - it is Ok, Mr Babe! didn’t come to Moonlight see that). At the end of the first show Mr Babe left with what appeared to be a group of Thai (cannot rule out they were Chinese). An era at Moonlight has come to an end, but hopefully he will be back one day. Although it was a special occasion (but it was announced fairly late by Moonlight I think - only on 28 February I believe) it was far from full house at Moonlight yesterday (but still quite busy; more people than on my previous visit on 20 February) - it is clear that the virus also impacts the business of Moonlight. Entrance fee is still 480 B though. Off-topic observations: Mr Nut (also performing last night at Moonlight) is indeed very handsome/hot; it was my first time to see him last night. Amazing looks. For those who fancy Nicky, he was also on stage last night and did well. He and Mr Nut received 2 garlands of 100 B notes each in the second show at midnight. I found No 39 (a 24y Cambodian guy) to be very hot (dark skin and very lean body but smaller framed/not muscular in the same way as the models; man/top only). Smiling a lot and with confident attitude on stage are big selling points for me; he was in the big cxxk show). I was seriously considering to off him; he quoted 2000 B when asked; left him with a 100 B note in his pocket). I also had a chat with No 41, a guy from Chiang Mai; tall, lean and very muscular with a body that matches the models) - friendly guy and easy to chat with (he said to have been @ Moonlight only 10 days).

You didn't check out Boat Bar at the end of the Paradise complex? (to the far right when facing the big hotel at end of the street). It usually gets going quite late (and will stay open 1-2 hours longer than the other bars/clubs in the soi).

This is inevitable. Once these guys get away from ice/drugs and daily gym sessions in BKK and back to their home towns and mom cooking, another complete body transformation will quickly occur (but this time not for the better).

No, except for payment to the boys, you pay for everything when you check-out (entrance fee, room, bar tab etc). Credit cards accepted (at least at Lagoa) You get a key to a locker when you check-in. The key has number that you flash when you order something.

If you don't mind the fees, use Western Union. Easy, swift and all thai guys seem to very familiar with Western Union. As stated by previous poster, you carefully need consider if you want to venture into sending this guy money - I can assure you that it will not take long until he "has no money for eat", "I need money to go see doctor" or "I want to buy XXXX ( I have even heard "motorbike" before )

Staying in Nana/Sukhumvit and going back and forth to Silom/Sathon is no issue - I have done that numerous times when staying at high-end hotels in Ploen Chit, Asoke or even Prom Phong. BTS to Silom (or bus to Sathon - you need to change bus at Centralworld) and a short taxi ride back to Sukhumvit at night. Should be no more than 100 B (by meter) if you go to Rama IV and get a taxi from there (it is actually surprisingly quick to get to Sukhumvit via Rama IV at night). No need to regret or cancel a (non-refundable) hotel reservation in Nana. I'm quite sure that most/all hotels in Nana have a flexible quest policy - you will understand why when you get there and take a walk in the area.
