sorry for the length of this report...I'm unable to be concise, but will try
Monday...routine morning, breakfast at Big Kahuna, beach, massage with Noo, watch the waves, head back to hotel.  Decide today to have another massage.  Pick boy at Fah who wears a baseball cap.  Start out with a massage, both naked, he is well developed.  Massage so so, then he starts to top me, this was not agreed to, even when I say no, he attempts to continue, massage is over...then he blocks the exit wanting more tip.  I'd given him 1000 - settled on 1200.  I just wanted to get out and end the experience.  Note to readers - this was the low point of this trip.

i have an early dinner at the hotel, then head to Sunnee and Nice Boys, things are in "full swing".  #12 who sat with me on Saturday, sees me and comes over and puts my hands on his privates.  Another boys joins us but he is just sort of there,  While #12 (Bom) and I hit it off.  He asks me to  off him? Peas sees me, comes over, and see that I'm with Soph.  Suggests we repeat our three some from last visit.  I decline and give him 100 baht for effort.  I return to ttthe hotel with Soph and we engage in some pleasant acts.  This was an extended short time, Soph leaving around 2am.
Tues
Morning routine, breakfast at Continental, beach, massage, wave watching...
Lunch on way back to hotel at pastry shop next to Fah.  Quiche in Thailand, why not?  As I pass Fah, masseur from yesterday is all smiles and waves to me, I wave back.
Stop at tailor for a fitting, he tells me it will be ready on Thursday, I remind him the agreement was for Wednesday as I'm leaving early Thursday.  Agree on Wednesday at 9pm.
Max comes by around 4pm, shyness has disappeared as do his clothes.  Pleasant and delightful time. Dinner at Alt Heidelberg, went then to Boyztown where there were few customers, for sale sign on Panorama, two guys on the Ambiance terrace, no BBB parade tonight.  I went to Toy Boys to see if Soph was working,  He was on his day off (at least that's what the mamasan told me).  Saw a very cute and tall guy in the line up, called him over, very little English, while he was Thai, he reminded me of a Viet I was enamored with two years ago.  We have some Google translate back and forth, reach an agreement, head out to the hotel...all in all, just so so....a cum and go situation.  I'm back in bed, alone now, by 2am.
Wednesday
It's raining, so after a Big Kahua breakfast, I return to the hotel and wait for Noo to come by for my morning massage.  It's Wednesday, which is no umbrella day at the beach, so we had agreed yesterday to move the massage indoors.  Which was a good idea as it was a very rainy morning. I gave him 500 baht for the massage as he had to come to the hotel.
At 11, my friends from Sunday night, picked me up and took me to a multi-course seafood lunch at a beach front hotel overlooking the bay.  From there we went to the new Terminal 21 mall.  Very large, very upscale, very much like Terminal 21 in Bangkok but with more outdoor space there is a full scale plane in the parking lot.  I'm treated to a tour of the more residential areas of Pattaya, and we end the afternoon with ice cream sundaes.
Back in Jomtien, I double check with the tailor who tells me all is on schedule,  As the rain stopped a few hours ago, I walked to the beach to see what it looked like without the umbrellas.  Completely different visual experience.  Tonight is the 15 course dinner for the local gourmet society, Heiko tells me while the dining room is sold out, I'm welome to dine on the terrace and try the 15 courses.  I decline as I'd had such a great lunch.  There is a text from Bom inviting me to Nice Boys, before I say "yes", I text Soph who is available tonight and will come to The Poseidon rather than my doing to Toy Boys. (I'll reimburse him for the off fee)..  I text Bom and say "thanks -  have to wait for next visit".
I eat something from a cart, pick up my jacket at the tailors, back to hotel, start packing, Soph arrives...morning comes...Soph leaves after some photos, I have breakfast at Continental, down to the beach to say goodbye to the umbrella boys, the managress, her dog, and Noo.  Accept a shoulder massage, whish there was more time, back to hotel, finish packing, checkout of Poseidon, some judicious tipping to cleaners and desk staff.  Car from Mke's Pattaya service arrives at 11am.  Off to Bangkok.

After they leave, I head to @Home and off Peas and we  head back to the hotel.  Much more responsive tonight (me) and a pleasant time is had though I'm not the best bottom in the world, things work.  This is a short time arrangement, and he leaves around 2am.  He tells me he has to do a visa run to Cambodia early Wednesday morning.  
 
 

The airport bus to jomtien stops at few places before stopping at jomtien bus station. The bus station is walking distance to jomtien complex but for the first two nights of my visit, ill be staying in ambiance, boyztown. So i cross the road and wait for the seongtaw to south pattaya. The bus stopped right in front of boystown soi where ambiance is, so i alight the bus and pay 10 baht to the driver. As i walked in boystown the first time, i already saw masseurs sitting outside scandic as well as body massage, ambiance. Went straight to ambiance reception and went up to my room, at the top most floor, lvl 5, with a terrace facing boystown. I unpacked, put my valuables in the safe and clean up a bit before heading out for dinner.
After dinner, i make a stroll down walking street, all the way until the end and walked a bit toward bali hai pier. I stopped at the beach where i saw a group of thai boys playing sepak takraw, a traditional sports that is popular in south east asia, where thailand and malaysia has always been in the final of sea games for many years already. I stay and watch the game for a while, not because i love the sports, cant even play it, but because of the boys haha. Walking street is also interesting place for taking pictures, and the straight have it all over here. I planned to do a stroll first, just to know what bars and their locations. Some recommended bars for me to see were BBB, Abomb, Toyboy and massage places like Copa, Scandic and Ambiance (body club massage) at first i didnt see where abomb is, but figured out its on a different street along with xboys, kawaii, and dreamboys. I went out of hotel a bit after 9pm, and thought i mustve missed the BBB parade. Guess ill try to be earlier tomorrow. One thing i like about most bars in pattaya is the dont have any issues if we want to have a peak first before going in and buy drinks. So i started to just do exactly that in most bars, went to see kawaii, 4-5 boys all too skinny for me, abomb, 2-3 boys only, too average, xboys, more boys here, maybe 10 or so, but each time they open the door, the boys and mamasan will clap so i didnt stay longer to see lol. I didnt peak into toy boys since their door was open so i can just see from outside. No one that interest me tonight. I also noted the show times for some bars, xboys have 3 show but i didnt go in for their show tonight. Castro also have underwater show but mainly drags and ladyboy. So tonight, i decided to go for BBB show. 
Its my first boy show in pattaya and i must say that this is definitely the best shows ive seen so far. I walked in before 10 to a 3 quarter full bars, and probably 30-40 boys on stage and with customers. It definitely the closest to dreamboys bangkok in terms of number and quality of boys, and at least during my visits, its better than dreamboys bangkok. Iv been a member for roughly two weeks and I have been browsing the forum regularly since. Its very informative and helpful so thanks to everyone whos a member and contributed.
 
Ill be in Thailand from 10  April till 25 April and Im planning ón spending some time in Silom in Bangkok and Boystown Sunne and Jomtein in Patts.
 
A little about my own background before I continue. I have been to Thailand many times, first my attraction was to the ggs (girls) then for last four and half years its been the ladyboys that have caught my attention. So my first question is which hotel would you guys choose or please feel free to recomend another hotel close to the action with a gym.
Secondly if I go with a hotel without a gym where is there a decent gym in Silom closeby where I could pay to  fit in a couple of workouts while Im there.
 
Next Id like to get BMS opinions how how you think the boys are going to react to my ladyboy girlfriend and I in general in the bars gogos and clubs. I think we may have been very lucky in Boystown last trip in that the first boy we called to sit us was amenable to our request and was quite happy to have a 3some with a ladyboy. My initial plan was to go to lopburi (girlfriends home)from 13 to 15 April to celebrate Sonkran. I have a condo booked in Pattaya from 18 to 25 April. However after reading  a wonderful trip report ón here from an Isreali BM about the the Gcircuits party last sonkran Im half considering going to the opening party instead and then going to lobpuri ón 14. I was at Moonlight last night from 11pm to midnight. Three words to describe the show.

If you go to a restaurant, you get to enjoy the ambience of the surroundings, mingle with a few people at the bar while you wait, enjoy the offerings that only a professional chef can get you.  Yes, the $5 glass of coca cola your ordered is only 50 cents at the grocery store, but you pay for the service and the surroundings and its always a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
 
If you stay home to cook, you can do it anytime you want. You can get all the ingredients for cheaper and it will all depend on your skill of cooking.  Sometimes you get a crap meal because you cooked the veggies too long or you weren't clear on the directions of the meal. But if you do it right, you can get a fairly satisfying meal for way less than you would pay at a restaurant, and you are not under the whim of the restaurant's open times.
 
I went to DreamBoy last night and my final bill was 1600 baht. This was for my drink, the boy's drink, and the off fee. This does not include the actual tip for the boy who arguably is the main attraction of the whole evening. To a lot, that  money amount sounds outrageous. But to me, it is a small price for the following reasons:
 
1. They seated me up in front because one of the mamasans know me and he knew I liked to see those 50+ boys gyrate in front of me. I could see every birthmark, penis size through those skimpy briefs, abs up close etc. Those boys saw me right away and would smile to try to entice. I like that kind of interaction. Now for the apps. I've never used the apps for money boys, BUT, I use it plenty to access the fairly sizable gay tourist base of Bangkok (less so Pattaya, more MB, less tourists). This trip, I've met two Chinese tourists in town for Chinese New Year. They were both my type, and I was able to hook up with them on off hours, usually after lunch or when my long time boy has left in the morning. It is wonderful to have this option when the bars are closed.
 
Moral of the story: both are great. If I used apps all the time, I would save so much money. But I've also had my share of duds with using the apps. My Bangkok evenings seem stale if I did not have a boy bar to go to. But I can see the dollars come out of my ass when I do go to the boy bars. Your mileage may vary.

I’ve planned a short one week trip to Thailand to relax a bit after some months of hard work in Europe. First part is planned in Pattaya (Agate hotel) and the last days in Bangkok (Raya Surawong hotel).
 
Part 1 : Pattaya
I had a very comfortable 11 hour direct flight with Thai Airways. As I had the front row, I had extra leg space and that is nice to have. However, my left feet was itching all the time.
 
Arrived around 6AM at the airport, immigration took only 15 minutes and my taxi to Pattaya was waiting for me.
 
I prefer to stay in the Jomtien Complex, but not in the Zing as last time. Agate Hotel is indeed a lot better, but more expensive. The room is very nice.
 
When undressing in my room, I notice the itching on my feet was caused by an infection. So first thing is to visit this website and search the keyword “hospital” to see a doctor.
Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya has really good quality service. Very friendly staff guides you as soon as you arrive. Doctors and nurses are really caring about their patients. Doctor has a look, does some small surgery and suggests me to stay overnight, which I refuse, so I get some antibiotics and a new appointment the next day for checkup. The bandage on my foot makes walking difficult and the doctors message is “no water, no sand”.
 
The rest of day 1, I spend near the hotel in the Jomtien Complex. As I’m not allowed to have water on my feet, this excludes showering before and after massage. Excellent dinner at Poseidon : a 3-way course with a drink for about 500 baht. I really love this chef! Afterwards a drink in one of the bars, where a boy named Soda recognises me from last time, so we have a drink together. Not into offing today, so back to the hotel to rest.
 
Day 2 starts with hospital visit. Luckily no further complications, so daily wound care is all I need for the rest of my trip. In the early evening I invite Soda to my room. Nice time together and 1.000 bath well spent. Going to Boystown afterwards. Visited most of the bars, and stayed quite long in X-boys as I liked the show.
 
Day 3 is for Sunee. Winner was a bit disappointing but as drink price is only 79 baht I don’t mind having a look, didn’t enter Eros as I didn’t find the boys attractive. I’ve been a guest at each hotel more than once. My current choice is The Raya.
 
Tarntawan is close to Tawan, Nature Boys, Super A and many massage places. And a few minutes walk from Twilight.
 
The Raya is just a few feet / meters from a Twilight and the Gogo clubs, Hot Male, Dreamboys, Freshboys, etc.
 
I shifted from the Tarntawan changed ownership and the many of the staff were let go and the customer base shifted. Tour groups appeared...the gay vibe was muted. The Raya doesn’t have a gay vibe...usually the guests include many Japanese golfers.
 
The Raya just asks that guests stop at the desk ...somewhat similar to Tarntawan...no fee.

So in summary, you have two good choices. Neither hotel is far from the clubs or bars.

Focusing on the OP's mention of saunas, I wouldn't recommend Babylon Sauna- and I suspect other saunas would be much the same .The guys who frequent  it tend invariably to be straight-acting. Hey Bobby, as for hotels and gym, I now stay at the Raya (used to be regular at Tarntawan but have since changed to Raya) and find it very nice there with no problems taking guests back to the room and it's right next door to the boy bars as well as just down the road from the other bars. You may find the Raya is more inclined toward the Japanese but hey nothing is perfect and is still a fine hotel. For the gym, when in Bangkok I go to Clark Hatch fitness in Thaniya Plaza which is just a short walk from the Raya, straight up soi Thaniya and only 5 minutes walk. Clark Hatch may be a little more expensive than other gyms but being only 5 minute walk from hotel I have no complaints, not too sure if it's still available but the Tarntawan used to have discounts for Clark Hatch which chopped about 100 baht off each day if you bought the ticket at Tarntawan. P.S. Ladyboy lover here too but then I'm bi so it works in nicely with my fun times but my ultimate is 3somes with a girl and boy.

A little about my own background before I continue. So my first question is which hotel would you guys choose or please feel free to recomend another hotel close to the action with a gym.
Secondly if I go with a hotel without a gym where is there a decent gym in Silom closeby where I could pay to  fit in a couple of workouts while Im there.
 
Next Id like to get BMS opinions how how you think the boys are going to react to my ladyboy girlfriend and I in general in the bars gogos and clubs. I think we may have been very lucky in Boystown last trip in that the first boy we called to sit us was amenable to our request and was quite happy to have a 3some with a ladyboy. As far as DJ Station goes, i'm sure your ladyboy friend will fit in just fine. I've seen quite a few ladyboys there everytime I went to DJ and they all seem to be enjoying themselves with their company.

that's true but it has advantages of low pressure to choose, I prefer this to constant pestering of passersby's. While upstairs in cubicles they take good care of clients beginning with shower together, I was  never disappointed there

I'm not looking for luxuries, like to stay close to an action in places where 's no fuss with visitors. Working A/c a must, I'm not sensitive to a noise and don't care about dining facilities and elevators. Used following:
 
BBB Inn - right behind soi Twilight, Snake Farm across the street, 
no elevator, safety deposit box on reception, no blanket- always use big towel they provide instead, no dining facilities, usually have breakfast at Foodland, Patpong 2 when staying there, massage boys on duty 7/24 so you can get horny at any time, best A/C of them all., marble bathroom, free computer in the lobby. I love the place, always stay there at least for 2-3 nights although at 1320 a bit overpriced
 
Tarntawan - steps from Tawan, tucked in  a quiet alley. More luxurious than other I used and at 2000 better it will be, Treat myself over weekend  just for fun.Free sumptuous breakfast included if you book for 2 your guest will get one as well.Safety box in the room did not work but I prefer one on reception anyways. Bathtub instead of just a shower, free computers in the lobby. For me top of luxury and much more than I need but will be back.
 
Take A Nap - right beside BBB Inn, 900 / night, very nice and helpful staff, elevator working, cheap beer in the lobby at 40/baht , free computers in the lobby well positioned to check on passing eye candy, if you not a resident it cost 30 baht to use, no time limit it seams, safe deposit box in the room working, refrigerator provided for your provisions, visitors free to go in and out so you on your own if  something gets wrong,rooms small with basic desk, breakfast included but very basic, A/c quiet but very slow, good enough in winter but I have my doubts about hotter months. Basic and affordable, not my first choice but still workable alternative.
 
Le Cafe Royale, Boystown, Pattaya
 
small place right at the center of the action so you are steps from everywhere and all soi will check on your guests, elevator, safety box in the room., A/C all working perfect, ,breakfast and 7.5%  tax not included in the rate of 1100, restaurant on the first floor a bit costly but still affordable , if you want save some money, cheaper Boat bakery is just across the street, guests are leaving ID on reception, mini bar in the room. As long as I'm concerned great value for money and will return.
 
Malaysia Hotel
best value for money IMNSHO, 875 / night, breakfast not included but can be had in a restaurant downstairs open 7/24, computer access 40 / baht hr., 70/ 2 hrs. Spacious and airy room with a view, not just a wall, two beds- big and small, refrigerator in the room, safety deposit box on reception, need 500 baht refundable deposit, moneyboys gone, bathtub instead of just shower, visitors welcomed but with ID only, A/c good and well positioned / I hate when cold air blows directly on the bed/. Love the place and will be back , only disadvantage is a bit of distance from the action but you can be in Silom for 50 baht and motorsai from Lumpini MRT costs just 20 baht if you are too lazy to walk. Even with those extra expenses still cheap option.

very close contender for best value for money 1000/ night , breakfast not included but can be had in a restaurant downstairs, safety deposit box in the room working, no elevator, steps from Chong Nonsi BTS yet still very quiet., guest ID hold on reception, refrigerator provided, money changer with best rates very close and so is Arena. Easy walking distance to Silom and soi Twilight or short hop by taxi. If sentenced to staying in just one hotel this would be my choice. Cemetery  behind, how convenient !

in Silom soi 8 , close to Tawan. 1200/night, breakfast included, three free computers in the lobby with very fast connection, elevator working, safety deposit box in the room did not work but no problem at end of stay when one lives out of cash advances. Very clean and modern but room very small. A/c blowing directly on the bed. Staff from reception quite often absent so technically everybody can pick up your key from the counter and go to your room if you not there, keep it in mind. Not a bad option, room  just bit of claustrophobic.
