I am amazed at the clarity of your memory, since the trip was in 2016. Then again I suppose epic food poisoning does tend to etch every detail into one’s mind. Thank you for posting - better late than never Glad to hear you had a pre-booked guide who was able to give you medicine. You are also very brave to go to Chatuchak in the grips of stomach trouble. Hopefully your next trip will be much, much better and we look forward to the report (even if only reported in 2021 LOL)

Hello Paul, I didn’t mean to suggest that the shows should be stopped. I enjoy shows too. What I meant is that those ‘special event’ dress-up Christmas, Loy Krathong or Chinese New Year shows make the otherwise handsome and sexy boys look rather silly, dancing around in cardboard boxes or having Babe prancing like a reindeer. It would be preferable to juice up the regular shows - for example, a full show shower extravaganza would be more than special enough for me! Edit: though I do like the boys in traditional Thai outfits, so just the cheesy dancing can be omitted.

I don’t know if anyone saw the live stream of Moonlight’s “special” Chinese New Year show on FB. I got an alert and caught the broadcast, but it was taken down right after it was finished and replaced with the usual dull model parade. Wonder why. Maybe no cover charge, no special show for online audiences? Unintentionally comic, show had the models dressed up in Chinese festive gear doing an odd dance formation with the occasional shadow boxing punch. Leads were Nicky (in a very strange Maleficent type outfit with red wings - if he decides to work in Fake he’s all set) and Smarch in a cardboard box dragon head...at least I think it was him, camera was zoomed out to show whole stage. No sign of Tam and Sunny who probably were pre-booked by Chinese regulars. Honestly I think they should give up on these special shows and just try to up the sexiness in their regular performances. The Christmas show was lightheartedly fun but also cringeworthy. I spit out my morning coffee laughing at Tam dressed up as the King of Siam with a harem of twinks during the Loy Krathong special. Not surprising the models absolutely hate these special occasions LOL

I have seen Pond and agree, much cuter in person. No for #32 I really regret not snapping a picture. And for the life of me, I cannot remember his name.

I think vinapu means one of the tops is you but there has been a long discussion on threesomes on one of the other threads. General conclusion is to pick your main boy and allow him to select the second boy, whether from his bar or another bar. Both boys MUST be aware of what is expected from them and okay with it.

No harm in reporting back - they may be rumors but if the staff in the sois are talking, it’s good for us to keep one ear to the ground. Recently I posted that I heard Jupiter owner and Moonlight owner were in talks to merge the two bars when Jupiter lost its Soi 4 premises. This came from an ex Jupiter boy now at Moonlight so he had a particular interest in the outcome, this may never materialise but he says he knows for a fact that both owners are in regular contact. And I have personally witnessed there is a great deal of friendliness between both venues so owners are not encouraging an air of competition.

Most welcome. Actually the question I dislike most is if boys ask for my Line. I’m always in a quandary if I should lie and say I do not have Line (but - I do add a very few, and sometimes they are friends so they will know it is untrue). But vice versa I do not like having to ask a boy for his Line, it makes me feel he is uninterested in me as a customer! Overall though I only have a handful of boys and one mamasan.

Invite him for a drink. He sits down, you chat. No money changes hands here. If you do not plan to off him or do not like his company, say “thank you for your company”, smile and hand him his tip. They understand this means “thank you but no thank you”. 100 is perfectly fine in Moonlight for a short chat, unless you want to keep him sweet for future offs. If he has spent a longer time / more extended chat (eg 20 minutes) then 200 would be appropriate. I usually give my real (first) name, area of hotel rather than specifying exact hotel, and of course you can lie about length of stay unless you plan to go back to the bar every single day. But I see nothing wrong with laying my cards on the table- the boys are doing business and putting themselves, their time, bodies and effort out there. Allowing them to ask a few questions for research and peace of mind is totally fine.

Firstly thank you for sharing. This information will be so helpful to members here as you mention some of the most appealing boys at Moonlight. I believe you mean Charlee the Cambodian. My first off at Moonlight was a hunky Thai guy who has now left the bar to work in massage and I cannot remember his name, Max I think. He was very good looking but typical straight performer. I also offed the other popular Cambodian, Sky whose photo I posted in this thread. He was a good performer and very much my type. I still buy him a drink or give him a small tip each time I see him, but he was booked in advance the last 2 times I visited. Have also offed a Myanmar boy who was not to my liking though others will probably find him perfectly fine. I started focusing on my regular boy, so I mainly go now to Moonlight to hang out with my friends who like to go there, and take some of the boys and models out for drinks or to clubs. The models who appeal most to me - Sunny and Babe - don’t seem to take offs in the regular sense, or perhaps Sunny does and was always occupied each time I visited and lately hasn’t been around. Fluke I admired but wasn’t very interested to off until he started getting rave reviews here, and in between my trips he went off to work in Fake. Visually I really enjoy the hunky muscle boys but I need to feel a spark during bar chat to off- something I did not experience with Tam and York- I have been out drinking with both and they are more enjoyable being treated as mates rather than as potential offs. Broach the subject of an off and they go into professional work mode, distant and polite.

If you don’t mind me asking, who were the Moonlight guys who did deliver for you? If this is too personal feel free to decline to answer, or to PM me. Just curious since I know quite a few of the boys there, always nice to have more reports especially on non- models.

100% for me too, which is why I drink with many boys in the bars to chat and get to know them, but am sparing in my actual offs, and value my two regular and semi regular boys greatly.

Yes I agree, I think he has a great body without being overly muscular. His abs look far better in person. He used to do the act where the dancers swung on suspended chains- looked fantastic. Good to hear he is popular, he probably needs the money. I know he enjoys going to clubs as he is a good dancer. But I wonder if any bedroom offs have been reported. I didn’t off him because I was preparing to stay for the late night karaoke - had a friend with me too, who was having a moment of confusion with his Vietnamese twink - and he was already in street clothes heading out, as he said he had an early morning day job (which I recall him saying several months ago too). In any case I wish him the best and without any first hand knowledge of his bedroom capacity (could be a dud or runner for all I know), I can state that he is very nice and not mercenary boy so any members who may find him attractive should at least have a drink and chat.

Good to see Moonlight has started broadcasting videos again, I was wondering what had happened. Believe they were struggling with model attendance over the past month as some boys were travelling/ill/had regulars in town. Just watched tonight’s broadcast and they have a nearly complete line up for the start of the Chinese New Year long holiday - all but Sunny. Fresh from Moonlight via Line, my source says bar is packed this evening too and even the boss is there in person to make sure this week is a financial windfall. And Mr Babe is packing....quite the package! Gave himself a helping hand before the show?

Compared to the stunning bar stars and other hunks, he does fade somewhat into the background, and also had some acne when I last saw him in January. But I was rather touched by his sweetness and lack of greed- seems to be typical of Burmese? He doesn’t seem to be very popular among Jupiter’s Asian and women customers and was very surprised to be offered a 500 tip, even tried to make me take it back.

I also think they have this unspoken system where if a customer is “assigned” to a certain mamasan (even if they are not bothering you or sitting with you) the other mamasans keep a distance. Certainly Neung has never even approached me to speak, even though he smiles politely when I send longing looks in his direction. He sees me tipping or opening a bottle but doesn’t swarm in to get his share of the plunder unlike in other bars. I gather he was very popular during his boy days!

And good looking LOL. I’ve always wanted to have Neung as my personal mamasan but sadly have always been stuck with the much older chap instead.
