I have a feeling I know exactly who you are talking about. The photo was taken by our female friend who mentioned there was a Chinese woman, early thirties, but not very slim and badly made up, by herself in the front row, surrounded by 8 boys. At some point she turned around and gave my friend a very unfriendly glare, sizing her up. My friend tried to say something nice “oh the boys really like you” and she retorted “They like money!” She was there again in the same spot when I visited 2 days later. At least, we compared notes and assumed it was the same, it would be horrible if there was as more than one obnoxious customer. No idea if she is a dedicated tourist or a Bangkok resident.

Did you witness this in person? I was just at Jupiter this past week - impromptu business trip. Not enough material for a full report but was meaning to jot down a few thoughts. Also noticed some unpleasant and unattractive female customers! Meanwhile, a photo from last weekend’s New Year lucky draw where some lucky boys were presented with money garlands and other prizes.

I am in agreement with Wynter on the Dreamboys selection though...some boys are absolute joys, while several “the supporting cast” as I call them, well they need to think hard if moneyboy is the right profession. Little personal grooming or effort to appear attractive! A few trips to the gym hurt no one. Mamasan and my friend confirmed Babe does take offs from girls....he is 100% straight and likes the pretty customers, despite his much advertised girlfriend. But like spoon said, he is also equally happy to be invited to a nice club or bar which he cannot afford himself especially if his friends are also included and does not need a tip, only the bar fine paid. My impression of him was of a polite and wary kid who was hoping for some nice customers (Male or female) that he could let his guard down around, out of the hungry hordes drooling after him. But even though my female friend likes to make us green eyed, the real reason he will always go out with her is because she calls him “little brother”, he knows her regular boy, and is aware she has zero sexual designs on him. A female acquaintance (whom I’ve posted about elsewhere) was trying to cheer herself up this past week, and called three Moonlight staff including Babe to go to a club with her. At some point in the evening she texted my friend to say they were all in her hotel room ordering room service and sends him a photo of Babe curled up in bed next to her. “Wow. What is he doing?” “Playing games on his phone and watching Korean MTV for new dance moves.” “Are you keeping him for the night?” “He says he’ll stay but I’m going to send him home after he’s fed.” “How much does he charge?” “Oh he doesn’t ask me for money.” Needless to say my friend sent her a row of middle finger emoticons. But moral of the story is, Babe is actually an adorable guy who behaves like a college kid not a money boy, once you make friends with him!

Another great report. I was underwhelmed by IconSiam too, lacklustre shops, limited dining options- only the view from the restaurant decks and the lower level Thai food stalls make this worthwhile. Otherwise it is a boring replica of Paragon.

Yes I hear you. While I’m not 100% clear on our photo guidelines, I never post anything that has not either been made available on another public site (as in, VERY public and easily searchable), on boy’s own social media, or by the bar. Since my friend is a very regular-regular at Moonlight, I do have some photos that while totally innocent (boys group selfie in hotel room party, Babe drunk on floor of restaurant, boys enjoying post Christmas-show dinner, gym photos, Fake Club) were not posted anywhere and only sent out through Line. These I never post although they are very entertaining. Happy to share a couple by PM though if anyone is interesfed.

Memories...a boy I offed from Moonlight on one of my early visits. Photos were posted on another public forum, so I think there is no harm sharing them here. One of the best looking floor boys in my opinion.

I have no objection to women in bars, and sometimes go with female friends. But I will never off a straight boy who is obviously angling only for female customers and only reluctantly accepts a gay customer as second best. You can tell which lads are “straight” but still enjoy a good romp and a good customer regardless of gender, and those who are only interested in tip and will rush through the proceedings. But I do not know why someone has not created a men only bar. Even a straight boy has told me that professionally speaking, he prefers being offed by men, as they are straightforward to deal with and generous while women are much harder to please.

I assume you are already there, so this answer may be irrelevant now. I was just at the Shangri La a month ago and they are totally fine with joiners. Nor do they mind if you bring them to eat in the restaurant, bar etc. A quick tip if you plan to visit the new IconSiam. The free public boat from Sathorn pier can be a nightmare with a long wait time. Ask to take the Shangri La hotel boat to Peninsula and walk 5 minutes.

I believe you mean Hot Male and Moonlight, not Jupiter? Hot Male and Moonlight are owned by a man, Jupiter by a woman who is apparently married to a high ranking cop. I am only making this distinction because the latest rumour I heard is that the two owners were in talks to possibly merge operations, when the Soi 4 leases expire. Now this would be an interesting development. But sounds somewhat far fetched to me.

Yes we are encouraging her to go out and splash some of that cash on another boy lol. Preferably one of the Jupiter bar stars who are her type, and charming as heck to women.

The Moonlight grabber is also fond of placing his hands on customers. Once when I went by myself he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and bundled me in as though afraid I would run away lol. We had a good laugh together. But the last time I went, he pretended not to recognise me though I knew he did. Strange fellow. Think he used to be a gogo boy until quite recently.

For people who can only make the time to visit year end (Chinese for example who have limited work leave and need to take advantage of the big national holidays), the still-low (to them) prices and availability of guys makes it worthwhile. But I too am glad I can usually make my trips during low season.
