I missed the ALL IMPORTANT sentence----- The list of countries and territories was published in the Royal Gazette on Monday night, with immediate effect.
-
Today --- 16th July Visitors from 93 countries and territories can now enter Thailand without a valid visa under a new policy effective from Monday this week. Implementation came after the signing of the directives by Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. Also check Tim Newton TMT on Youtube to see if any of his correspondents have arrived this morning.
-
Check daily on TNT (Tim Newton) on YouTube. His daily Thailand news reports contain comments from people currently arriving.

How about renaming this topic now? Misleading.

Often said to be to discourage children BUT actually to stop parliamentarians from getting sozzled then going back to work in the afternoon!

AYAM beans half the price of Heinz and have English and veggie varieties.

Strange, I saw nothing in the press or TV. Usually lots of photos and videos, even on BBC and CNN.

Al Jazeera has won MANY international awards for it's 'English' news reporting/reporters. When it first opened it's English service, it poached many reporters/presenters from the BBC. During the red/yellow shirt disturbances here, it's live reporting was more immediate and unbiassed than the BBC 'man on the spot' Of course it's coverage leans towards more content on the Middle East just as BBC's is on Europe and CNN's is on the USA.

Be wary! Many Thais consider that at their day of birth, they are one year old. So, they may be one year younger than your farang calculations.
-
And if you meant Patpong, you're only a minute away.

GOP is how a Thai boy's name is pronounced. It is usually written in English as GOLF.

So should every client that day expect him to climax with no extra remuneration?

Or poke them with your silver tipped cane.

Nobody in the management team is KFC. Bar owned by a team of the 4 longest serving Thai staff (25 years -ish.). Manager Tae (birthday today) very tall and friendly Thai Bar Manager is Nui.. also v. friendly and helpful. Also one farang partner BUT hardly the type to offer to assist you. The staff are very friendly and will somehow fit you into the terrace however full it seems.

It will be quite wet at this time of year. So I would stay in the district Where my night-time activities will be. I really wouldn't fancy being ridden home , a little tipsy, on a motorbike taxi. during a monsoon. In Jomtien, I would choose Zing (Make sure you book the Jomtien Complex one!!) or The Venue. In Boyztown, Copa.

Or on the stalls on the street.

As you asked so nicely Zombie, you need to know that you can still get more on FRIDAY in Pattaya. -

Well, it certainly was for the staff. Many of them sub rented the terraces of closed bars (Balcony included). They made a fortune during the three days. But it was really no different to the surrounding Silom Road or Twighlight. I've been the last two years for the water dry soi 4. It was just as crowded and fun and an oasis (can an oasis be water free?) to get away from the madness for a while. -

Silom soi 4 definitely NO WATER (and VERY packed) but definitely NOT alcohol free. -
Maybe not your deep professional voice but the words you were using. There is no point in using big complicated words however deep your voice is. Do you poke them with your silver tipped cane if they refuse to understand you?

Thai and Filipino LGBTQ clashed in Soi Sukhumvit 11 last night
Patanawet replied to reader's topic in Gay Thailand
Not Soi NaNa. Wrong side of the road. Soi 11 used to be an upmarket, soi housing the likes of The Bed Club. Apparently, not now. -
Yes indeed and quite a few in Bangkok too. I was once disappointed when my straight colleagues at work suggested that we all go to soi 4. Sadly, they meant Sukhumvit soi 4 which is a famous girly bar area (Na Na).
-
Just for interest --- if you end up here in Bangkok and are really 'pissed off' with all the cretinous farang firing their giant water cannons, make your way to Silom Soi 4 (Sala Daeng skytrain exit 1?), which will be water free (security at the head of the soi to confiscate guns). These days are the busiest 3 days of the year in soi 4, it will be packed from 7ish till closing, continuously! My choice is Balcony Pub or Connections. They open for alcohol at 17:00 and are there, dry, till late. Oh, and forget stories that it all finishes (the water throwing, at 18:00 or 21:00). This is Thailand (T.I.T.) and rules are meant to be broken. Me? I'll be locked in my room, stocked with Leo Beer. Oh and another VERY important point ---- do not take money, jewellery, passports etc out with you. Pickpockets abound. Everywhere, you will see plastic pouches for sale (about 100 Baht) to keep dry any personal items needed to be kept dry. But they are not thief proof. Finally, have fun.
