because i know many of the guys it just means more at the apartment and less at the sauna with the restricted hours of operation!

sorry to hear that! I have been vaccinated and am going in April, was last there in December.

i had to change my plans from going to Brazil on the 18th of March to the 8th of April due to the tightening restrictions in São Paulo and Porto Alegre which will be from 2 weeks to a month depending on the governor.

I go to porto alegre for a weekend usually every trip! i really like the city and particularly the Moinhos de Vento area! just today i got a message from 4 guys who room together who all work at Mezziniu sauna(which just got notified today they have to close by municipal decree for 30 days due to covid)who were expecting me to come March 19th but i had to postpone cut to april!

Rudolfo the owner of Lagoa messaged me today and said they are closed for the next 2 weeks starting Friday! the general consensus is that after the 2 week closure businesses will reopen due pressures (i hope so as i am due to arrive in SP on the 26th!

tge latest i heard on Fragata is that one of the 3 partners left with 200,000R. and the place had to close just a couple weeks after opening up in the new location! When and Whether it will reopen is anyone’s guess at this point! it is in its new location which is very nice! but as of now it is not open!

In a word “GO!”. you won’t regret it! i have been twice since late october and going again in March! after seeing the demise of the places in NYC(The Gaieity, Cats, Stellas) Los Angeles(Numbers) Miami (the Boardwalk, Johnnys, i realize nothing last forever so enjoy it while you can! personally i think the same thing will happen to saunas in Brazil...it already has started with Lagoa in SP, when the land/location becomes too valuable to not demolish and build Condos! it is what happened to Splash bar in NYC and the entire block that Lagoa was in in SP! instead of complaint about what was, everyone should be happy what still is(not you personally slvkguy, you just give me a chance to point out some things on the sauna scene!) the cost is the lowest it has ever been, the guys are more then willing! i don’t have to go to the saunas as i know enough guys to have many over each night if i wanted to buy i want to support the saunas as that is where i initially met these guys and developed the contacts! the obviously watch the instagram, FB and Whatsapp postings as i got a flood of messages when i posted i was going to be in Brazil in March, from guys i don’t stay in weekly contact with! i always stay in ipanema it is only 5 minutes and 2 stops on the metro from copacabana from Pointe at Siqeira Campos exit. Ipanema is a little more upscale then Copa, but either convienent to restaurants, atm’s, grocery stores etc

I am flying into Porto Alegre the first weekend i am in Brazil and the guys are planning a party at my apt. that evening and Saturday evening as well. i did this my last trip and it worked great! i have known one of the guys for 4 years and he is the one who has all the contacts! He is a bottom and his fee is getting fucked by everybody there! i pay for the beer and pizza and each guy gets $200.reias and usually it starts around 10:00pm and goes until everyone falls asleep! He called today and wanted to know if 2 more guys could attend? i said no as 5 of us seems to work perfectly based on the last 5 or 6 parties i have done!

Now that i got my vaccinations i am planning a return to Rio, Porto Alegre and São Paulo. I haven’t been to POA for over a year and 1/2 so i am anxious to get back there! i spoke to the of the guys who i know there and we are having 6 guys to a party at the apartment i rent there and he sent me photos of each of the guys today! the guy organizing this also works at Mezziniu sauna which he said is still open. after the weekend in Porto Alegre i go to Rio for 7 days and then São Paulo for 3 days! the

after i got the notice I received a second email about 15 minutes later saying i had completed and was eligible to fly on the flight i was scheduled on! i was never asked to show it again when i boarded 2 days later!

i have been to Brazil(Rio and São Paulo)twice since the end of october and saw more everyday precautions taken there then in SoCal where i live! So no i am not worried! i just got back Monday from Merida Mexico and they also had more protocols in place the SoCal. two days ago i got the first of 2 injections of the Pfizer Vacine, the 2nd dose is on 2/24 but i take the normal precautions and I am fine as is a travel buddy that was also there!

In Merida you get it back between a 1/2 hour to 10 hours after you take it, cost bring the only difference. We took ours at 9:00 am and got the written results back at 6:00 pm

i am flying back to SoCal tomorrow from Merida so Yesterday morning the nurse showed up at the house and then to a take a Covid test swab on both throat and nose. they had the results emailed back to me 10 hours later, We were both negative so they send you a form it says that and you can download the form right to united’s website and about 3 minutes later cleared me to leave on Monday! their site so slick quick and easy and no problem at all all

i had my test done this morning at my home in Merida! i leave Monday for Calif.

we decided to make a quick trip to Cancun for 2 days on Wednesda, it is a 4 hour bus ride (my first) i booked a room at the JW Marriott which is a 450 room hotel of which about 25 appeared occupied! it really was like having a whole resort to yourself. On thursday a warm sunny day there were about 20 persons in the acre size pool that meanders through the property! the first night we ate in one of the hotels restaurants on a outside balcony and we were the only ones in the restaurant, it was a excellent dinner! on thursday night we went off property to a Ruth Chris Steakhouse , it was moderately busy with about 20 people dining! most people were wearing masks but I did not feel ness as safe as Merida which is in a different state, (Yucatán)? from Cancun. (Quinta Roo), and has a much greater infection rate then Yucatán due to the Governor being mush more pro active in Yucatan where as a example liquor sales were banned for 7 months while Cancun was party central! i had a fun two days but i brought my own Brazilian and enjoyed the amenities but didn’t mingle!

since i got here 3 different guys have been messaging me asking when they can come over? i told them my BF is here with me and i can’t see them but instead of accepting that they message me 2 hours later and ask again! today it started in again! the one only wants a6 pack of beer! it has been warm and sunny and the nights cool! perfect weather! today we went to this newer mall which would put anything in the OC to shame but there were less then 50 customers or about one for every 3 stores!

let’s see if i can be coherent on this post! sorry guys! i got to merida at 10:00 last night and realized i had 2 sets of jerky’s for the Rio apt and none for the Merida house!!! luckily when i called my property manager she said “i figured you would drew it up somewhere so i put a extra set of keys in a lockbox under the bush! she is great! then in the morning since i hadn’t been here in 14 months i wanted to inspect the property l! it was in great shape! At 4:00 i went to pick up my Brazilian Namorado and we have been drinking Margaritas ever since! So far a great start!
