November 8, 2025Nov 8 No sure WHY you guys are going now ? It's high season ! I only go mid year when it's quieter and most importantly.....cheaper ! Maybe you guys get your vacation time from work ?

I used to be desperate to get back as soon as possible when I had to leave. The weather was the same, no mater which bar you were in. Now I am a bit older, this might make a big difference. My last time I was there from March till September. Let's see if the coming 6 months are an improvement.

November 8, 2025Nov 8 Nice Idea I am only back a couple of weeks ago but then in Bangkok for three nights from Friday 20th Feb, followed by a week in Phuket - (a change from my normal Pattaya or occasional Hua Hin) then back to Bangkok for six nights!
November 9, 2025Nov 9 Like every year since 2023 for my birthday getaway, maybe around 3rd or 4th week of April 2026 after the tourist craze of Songkran passed and just before the rainy season start. May visit for about 7-10 days, this is just after spending a few days visiting back home in the Philippines.

Yikes, that's peak Chinese New Year travel season! Chinese New Year Eve falls on 16 February 2026 and the celebrations thereafter will go on for about two weeks for the mainlanders and about a week for the Southeast Asian diaspora.
