  1. Thanks for the update, I always tried to visit on my trips to LA. Keep us posted and hope the place works out.
  2. I truly appreciate your comments and thoughts THANKS
  3. Absolutely hilarious... I love, hehehehehe
  4. I really appreciate your Brazil update. Rio has become a favorite place that I quickly feel in love with.
  5. [My feeling is that Hillary needs to sit down and shut up, for the good of the party and the country. But she's made quite clear that the good of the party and country can fuck off because it's "her turn". I do think Hillary and her husband thought when this process started that the nomination was hers. I am sure it is not, and will not be easy for her to give up what she and many others saw as a given. There is a feeling Hillary will do anything for the nomination. Her lying about landing in Bosnia under fire, plus other similar comments sort of proves this out. I jumped on the Obama bandwagon early, note an earlier thread her were oz said he supported Edwards. But the Obama anti-American, Anti-white preacher did cause me to take a big step back. I still do not see how you stay in a church for 20 years and become close friends with someone like that and still want us to believe he is the unifier the country needs. Yes McCain has been endorsed by some right wing idiot preachers but he was not a member of their church. Unlike Obama, these preachers chose McCain, Obama chose Rev Wright. I was very enthused at the beginning of this process thinking we had some great choices. Not so sure now. But I do take much joy in the fact that the moderates in the Repuplican party have wrestled control from the extreme right by chosing McCain. Now as for me, I am one of those guys the candidates really need to speak to, because I could vote for anyone at this point.
  6. Thanks so much. Danilo has become a true friend and your comments of him have put a smile on my face today. Actually I am doing much much better. After they finally found the problem, and 5 weeks of meds, my road to repair seems well paved.
  7. And I very much appreciated your e-mail and concern, thanks and hope we cross paths again soon.
  8. Thanks, I am gradually getting back in the swing of things.
  9. Thanks for your concern. Yes I have been under the weather for a couple of months now. Hopefully the doctors have a handle on everything now and the prognosis is good. It will just take a few months to get back to speed and "normal", whatever that is My travels have been curtailed, and so has any hiring, but hey we all need some rest sometime. When I get over this I think I will head to Rio to catchup. LOL Thanks for your thoughts.
  10. Well right now the Giants are leading and I hope they hold the lead to win !!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for the election. There are no winner take all in the Democratic Primary process. So even if Hillary wins more states I predict she and Obama will be nearly equal in Delegates after Tuesday. This election is long from over. A Clinton/Obama ticket, I don't think it will happen and why put a loser (Edwards) on the ticket when each are preaching change. The Republicans do have some winner take all states Tuesday and it looks like McCain is leading in most of them . I think McCain comes close to winning enough delegates to get him the Republican nomination Tuesday. Actually if McCain wins even non Republicans should be happy that the Extreme Right wingers are losin their grip on the Republican party and the moderates are about to take their party back.
  11. Within the Democratic party HUGE, they rarely vote Republican. If they vote as a block they can determine this primary race. But Note that Obama got as many White MALE votes as did Hillary. So the White female voters in the Democratic party are her base.
  12. The big thing about Obama's SC win was that it was a margin of 2 to 1 over Hillary. Not just a win but a landslide victory. Also if not for Hillary's tear job in New Hampshire, she would have lost there. If she does not get Bill to keep his trap shut and she not be so bitchy, she just might find herself to have lost what many thought was a sure thing. Also, Carolyn Kennedy has endorsed Obama today in the New York Times, somewhat comparing him to her father. This may jusy bring in a few older Democrtas that still talk of Camelot. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/27/opinion/...amp;oref=slogin I love that McCain is winning and actually trying to take the Repuplican Party back from the Extreme Conversative Religious Right. Conversative talk radio is howling against him but he seems to be able to push on. I think there is a good chance that no one, on either side, will have enough votes for the nomination come Convention time. That I think would be a good thing if finally ALL states get to have a say in the Primary process. With the Democrat Super Delegates uncommitted and controled by the Democratic Party machine, I think that might tip the scales to Hillary at a brokered Convention.
  13. Exactly, and Mr Dean has made it known he has our vote no matter what, because Gays mostly vote Democrat. On another site Gay guys talk all the time of NEVER voting for anyone but a Dem.
  14. It is actually in Palm Springs, Feb 16 &17, and is a theatre weekend orgainized by poster Lucky. Oliver has a party at his condo that sunday as part of the weekend activies. I attended last year and had a great time. Scott Adler was there last year and I got to spend some "quality" time outside the scheduled events Plus found out his online personality and in person personality seem to be 2 different beings. I had planned to attend again this year but High airfare from KY plus some health problems will probably keep me away
  15. For those that haven't heard or followed the DNC's catfight with some in the Gay Community here is a recent Washington Blade Editorial for some insight. What happens when one party takes a group for granted? Wonder how many of our Gay friends STILL praise Howard Dean? http://washblade.com/2008/1-18/view/editorial/11894.cfm
  16. E-mail me the info on how to transfer and they are yours.
  17. I spend alot of time in Hotels, sometimes in the middle of BFE. A little over a year ago, out of boredom I spent a lot of time on F$F. After a few pvts with a certain guy from Colombia he asked me to switch to MSN for privates. I've now traveled to Colombia 4 times to spend time with him. I've payed his University tuition for the past 2 semesters plus multiple other gifts (laptop, clothes, watch, cameras, etc...) and mucho $. At this point I realize I have become his "Sugar Daddy" for lack of anything else to call the relationship. But as time goes on I realize how one sided the relationship has become and will probably move on soon. No regrets, it was fun (and he is a popular stud). But the guys on f4f are there to make money and sell a fantasy. Sometimes part of that fantasy is to lead guys on to get money (Western Union) and gifts. Sad stories from many of the guys are the norm,,, need money for school, my car is broke, need rent money, f4f is slow to pay me or they messed up the bank transfer, etc... I've heard the same stories from different guys in an attempt to get me to send money. Flirt4free can be fun and expensive, but realize if they tell you that they Love you and how special you are, they are telling a dozen other guys the same thing. Also, if anyone remembers, I believe Hooboy found a bf on F4F.
  18. Hummm, I am trying to count how many guys I "slept with" in a week in Thailand, I think I got this guy beat
  19. I only have 9200 points which I am sure I will never use. If it helps you can have them if you know how to transfer them. I usually stay at Marriott properties for most of my travels.
  20. Well even though they are having their "post coup" election I have decided to return to Thailand again for the Holidays. This will be my 4th Christmas/New Year's in Thailand. I arrive a day before the election but have one of my favorite guys, that quit the gogo boy scene months ago, traveling in from the countryside to keep me company. Hopefully the election and aftermath will be peaceful.
  21. OUT Magazine has an article in it's lastest edition about the Bryan Kocis murder. Very interested reading. Here is the link to the article: http://www.out.com/detail.asp?id=22865
  22. Lucky Horseshoe is the stripper bar in Chicago. It can be real hit or miss and sometime the guys look like streetboys. But I have found a few gems there. Gentry's use to be a good piano bar. They have a bar downtown and in boystown. Try this link for more Chicago info. http://www.guidemag.com/travel/invoketrave...C4483955F0B2C6E I'll be in Chicago the first weekend of October.
  23. Any update on Mickey's? How bad was the fire? Will they reopen?
  24. I have also met many great guys from the message centers. I remember the first 2 were Jackhammer and deej from Hooboy site during my first trip to California a few years ago. Jackhammer and I still manage to cross paths each year. Then there was the Montreal Group that Marc intoduced me to at Taboo one night,,,, great memories. Then it seemed we would meet there as a group a couple times a year for awhile. Still remember the night I got introduced to Bobby Thompson and Ryan while there. And meeting Tampa and Oz and Oz pointing to me that he knew me (but we had never met). Seems I had used the Escort Agency he use to own, hehe I've met guys from LA to NYC from Thailand to Brazil from Chicago to Salt Lake City and points in between. And as much as people use to accuse the message center of being no more than a bunch of "old Queens" I've yet to meet an old queen in the bunch yet. Just a great group of guys with alot in common.
